For me it's Red XIII. (Or Nanaki as I named him. Red XIII was a stupid name.) What was even the point of him being the 13th Sephiroth clone? He never got affected by it or anything. Seemed like a very pointless plot detail to me. And ever since he got introduced into the group he barely ever brought anything to the story at all besides introducing us to Bugenhagen perhaps.

Even though I didn't like Caith Sith either, his part in the story at least made sense. He was a Shinra Spy and had his impact on the story. Red XIII didn't bring anything to the story besides almost raping Aeris.
Maybe he should have done it for the sake of adding something to the story. lol
Mushroom
Cait Sith ultimately gets the vote for me, but I had to go beyond storyline really and decide on battle. I just can't support a character with 2 fairly naff limits XD
Razael
Yuffie, I hated that bitch with every ounce of my being. Goddamn ninja wannabe little bitch.
Mushroom
Raz, you want me to take her out 187 5150? It can be done.
Apple_Juice
Cait Sith, idk, he just basically sucks... in every way.
Sigs Minock
Clod, Cait #####, & Stuperoth.

Clod was a lousy hero. Cait ##### is right up there with Quina as "useless tag-along character" (but atleast Quina got 1,000 Needles to make it somewhat less useless), and Stuperoth was, like Clod a lousy villian.

cait sith...lol is probably the worst character. when i played ffVII the two times i played i NEVER used him. well ok not NEVER but not a lot at all. idk...i just couldnt use him. haha another is aeris...well not so much i didnt like her but she died off like...right away and you couldnt use her a lot etiher
Mushroom
You know, I nearly put Cid in. Did anyone else find him disappointing as a character in battle? He seemed so badass in the story and then, he seemed very mediocre in battle. Maybe it was the spears. Or maybe it was just the fact the party was so loaded by that point if you got Yuffie and Vincent. Anyone disappointed by him? I mean, he didnt suck, but he was so middle of the road, it was almost worse than sucking.
SharkFinn
I voted Cait Sith. Useless in battle and annoying out of it.

For story purposes, though, Cloud and Sephiroth tie, mainly because they have so many fanboys and they're so vastly overrated. I never understood what made Sephiroth such a great villain, and I never thought paralyzing schizophrenia was enough to make someone an amazing hero. Cloud just annoyed me.

But since I don't care about the storyline, I voted on the basis of their battle skills. =)

@Mushroom: I used Cloud, Barret, and Cid as my main party. Cid's upper level limit breaks really kick ass if you bother to use him.
Athrun
I think I used Cloud, Tifa and Cid mainly. Vincent's Limit Break annoyed me after the first playthrough, but the first time I played I prefered Vincent over Cid. I thought Cid was okay. I didn't really notice if he was betetr or worse than the others, but at least I liked his Limit Breaks over Vincents.
But if I played the game again I'd use Yuffie instead. =p
Mushroom
Haha >_< I can't even remember who I sued most. I'm a bit of a freakwith FFVII,so i had everyone levelled up equally XD I think I generally went with the reliable Cloud, Barret and Tifa combination, just because I had them so early and they were more central to the plot.
YourSweet666
Vote goes to Cait Sith. Hated him in battle, he just...sucked, the worst off for limit breaks, and I didn't like him much as a storyline character either.
-Vincent-
Barret.

Barret.

Y’know, he’s who I would have said as well. Mind, I didn’t get very far in the game to begin with, but from what I played (with the assumption I’m thinking of the right person), he’s who I disliked the most.

Just to check: He’s the one with the red hair (most commonly called Garret in games, but I guess they decided to be creative) and was Cloud’s boss or something? Either that or he was just one of the companions in the beginning of the game. Whichever it was, I can still remember his persona and name (if not exact character status), and I recall he bothered me. I didn’t get far enough into the game to deduce that Cloud was a terrible character or Sephiroth an even worse villain, so unfortunately I can’t flow with the crowd that way.

Barret gets my vote. I never met Red XIII or Cait Sith either.

There's also the fact that they were neither wink.gif although the minority who post on the net would have you believe so. Controversy~!

That’s sort of why I said that I couldn’t say that, not that I believed that >.o In the end though, my subtle sense of humor (that nobody besides myself would probably find funny) is all that really was...

Cait Sith and Yuffie warmed the PHS bench for the last 6 years now. I simply refuse to use them.

nah, i actually used him a lot, i liked his limits. my main party last i remember was cloud, cid, and red XIII, but instead of Red, i think it was vincent, idk.
Mushroom
XD

I'll post for Tifa.

I hated Barret and Rude the most.
The Evil Dead
The stupid ass dog, Barret, Cait Sith.

Red was a dog... I really don't remember anything about the story but the moment I found out I was stuck with him he was quickly shoved into the never to be used category. Barret is just an idiot and an annoyance... And Cait Sith looks too retarded. My characters must look cool as well as kick ass.

The rest were fine. I enjoyed Tifa's blocky boobs back in the day in my battle party.
YourSweet666
I knew that last line as coming as soon as I saw your name

Easy: Yuffie. Never liked her, never will.

YOu can still have a least favourite character, even if you didn't like any of them. There wasn't one that annoyed you most?
Pesmerga
it is a tie =D.

Gah! I hate it when she does that. Blasted Materia-stealing ninja brat! ><
I dislike her so much that I've never done her sidequest in the Wutai village. Never bothered with it, it's just a Yuffie quest, after all. =P
Mushroom
hahah XD I was hoping I could get a rant out of you with that one
Pesmerga
Not worth my time =D.
Xanadu
Well for me it was kinda a hard choice between Cait Sith and Aeris, but I cast my vote to Aeris because I was one of those die-hard Aeris haters, who jumped for joy and threw a party the moment Sephiroth ran that bitch through.

At least the good point for me was that my two least favourite characters in the game died, but I felt like throwing myself of a 300 foot building the moment Cait Sith 2 came along.
Mushroom
Bwahaha. Its the fact he comes along like 3.45453 seconds later. ITs like omfg He's dead. "I'M CAIT SITH 2 <3". >_< Oh good.
Xanadu
lol yeah! He gets this all emotional, heartbreaking send-off, and he goes heroically and then its like... "whew... thats the end" and the it totally ruins the mood, he comes right along!

And why the hell was is such an emotional moment for Cait Sith? He was a puppet controlled by Reeve! And why the hell was he talkin to himself? I mean Reeve could've just said that to himself where he was controllin Cait Sith from, geez, its a bit stupid.
AlliedG
Cait Sith simply because his limit break sucks as its far too random
Bkoz
Although I like Yuffie, I have to say Yuffie was my least favorite character. It was a hard decision between Yuffie, Red XIII and Cait Sith. Yuffie just has this negative vibe that bothers the heck out of me.
Child Proof
Unlike alot of people, I personal liked Cait Sith... Maybe it's cause I'm a cat person, Or maybe it's cause I got lucky and he did that one-hit kill thing on alot of the bosses I was fighting... But yeah...

I didn't like the ninja girl... She made me sad, I have no idea why...
Exire
You know I used to hate Yuffie but after a few play throughs she warmed up to me. Now I like to use her all the time in my team. I had her replace Aerith before she had her...uh, incident. I guess after over 10 years we don't really have to concern ourselves with spoilers anymore, do we? XD

Anyway, my least favorite was also Cait Sith, I just hated the thing and he bothered me. He was annoying enough but during the first play through when he betrays the party I was legitimately angry haha. It's also already been said, with the heart felt goodbye...except he's a puppet and then comes back right after the temple destroys itself.

Cait Sith: I'm back! Cait Sith version 2.0 Meow!!

Okay. Next time can you please die permanently?
Bloo
Can't I vote for the baddies?

If not, then yuffie I suppose.

Lance.
Rayden
I would have to say Aeris. She, LITERALLY, Had no personality...She was like a brickwall.
Noir
I would say Yuffie, but she has this neat little bonus. When you put Morph Materia on her ultimate weapon it does just as much damage with Morph as it does without. So, Cait Sith, he was always useless to me.
Rubedo
Cloud while listening to Linkin Park.
Theferrell
Well, looks like I'm a minority here... but I didn't like Barrett too much. He was a little too "tolken black gangsta guy" for my tastes to be in a FF game. Maybe people liked that... but I thought it was a little over the top.
Ken Masters
I hated Aeris, not because of personality (well during my younger days), nor because of the fan-pairing wars (well that's also a factor), it's because the stupid bitch ditches you barely half way through the plot and the only important thing she ever did was to activate the Holy Materia. But did she help you fighting Emerald or Ruby Weapon, NOOOOoooh, she was stupid enough to leave the door open for Sephiroth to come in and kill her. Goddammit. Also never liked her weapon anyway, what in hell if an iron staff gonna do when everyone (almost everyone, Tifa's body is deadly weapon in itself wink.gif, as for Cait Sith. . . it's just. . . lame) has a deadly weapon?
