Does anyone else remember the first fight with Yuriev where, when Omega attacks, you can hear Abel screaming?
He also screams in the scene where Zarathustra goes out of control.

Never understood it.

You know what I never understood? Why Abel is helping Yuriev during that battle. Never figured out why that was. =S

It's my understanding that Yuriev was able to control U-DO. So he may have had no choice but to comply. If it weren't for Albedo and Negredo, the world as you know it in Xenosaga would have been one ##### up place.

Well Abel was observing. Which is why he's there to begin with.

If you'll notice every time we see him in Omega he's just looking around.

He was screaming because while he's an observational terminal and all, he's still autistic and can't communicate like a normal person.

Does anyone else understand why Abel collapsed here?
Albedo didn't do anything as far as I can tell.

Well, Abel collapses right when Albedo appears, so he must have done something. He may not have made any obvious gesture or said anything, but the fact that they show Abel passing out at the exact moment Albedo comes down from above, it can't be a coincidence.
