I HAVEN'T MADE ANYTHING IN SO EFFING LONG LOLS. I guess that's what I get for going to college. <_>;;;

But yeah, I'm trying to fit some time to make stuff here and there.

^ Secret Santa gift for someone.

^ for my R4 DS skin

^ another secret santa present.

^ Fan soundtrack cover.
Character's name is Lambo
from the Bovino mafia family.

RANDOM. But yeah. Lots of stuff going on. Enjoy!

You were one of the main ones back then who was always making something. I can't put my finger on why, I but I like the last one the most. And I'm going to add that it's different and it doesn't look like you basically copied off other overused styles that I'm starting to notice around the internet.
ValhartX
Wow, nice stuff Fantasy. =)
I'm really diggin' the "Ciao!" one. That one is really, really sexy.
Dragon Brigade
Now that I’ve been reminded, I need to remember what it was I was going to say XD. You’re sigs always (usually) have this paper-mache (not spelled right) or a collage-ish feel to them. I really like how they turn out though, because of that. My favorite that you’ve done from this one (as others have said) is the Ciao! sig. It has a very rough, sandpaper feel to it and aside from that red scribble on the arm (sorta bothers me, but that’s just my opinion), it really stands out.

I don’t really have much else to say for the others. They’re all great =).

Gasp! I totally forgot about this!!! Sorry Pinkletto =3 Pinknocchio =3

They sounds really nice(at least from what Dan described to me =3)

Your siggy this time, isn't as "happening" as your past's (A let down =x) (maybe because of the monkey Avi) (I MISSED MONKEY!!!!!!!!!!! XD)

Eh erm, anyways... Except for the Ciao and DS skin, I don't hear any texts at any of them =x (Getting Lazy? Have been eating too much Nutella haven't you =3)

Yes, usually your texts always fits what your sigs says, with out your texts, your siggy seems a little plain.

But still extraordinary though

Edit :

oh yeah

PINKGASM'S BACK TO YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!! =3333333333333333333

Your works are just great, from design, to stock effects, to colors and general feel. It doesn't get too repetitive either, and of course, I dig it quite a bit.

Just wish you'd make stuff more often! tongue.gif

As far as I can see, although this really isn't all too important, I'd love to see you try and work with the shapes of the pieces, and your typography is always love when you do it. smile.gif

Keep on rocking.
Apple
Lols yes I've been lazy designing text into my stuff. And sometimes I'll try, but realize it's not worth the effort because I'd like it the way it is. (Like the Haruhi one, for example. I like it best without text.) The Mario, Natalie, and last one is just because I'm lazy lols. /bricked

Laziness causes me to not do everything I could. D:

Anyways, I feel like I haven't posted any large works in a while, so here are some. And some icons too.

Rock'n Roosevelt - A handbill design for a concert at my school this friday. I also made a backstage pass version of it. <:D For all my hard work, I'm getting 3 backstage passes bahahahahaha. (Even though I like none of the bands. @_@)

A header for my art Livejournal. I vectored the bear and bees, which was really fun. It also comes with...

A header for my userinfo!! This was really really fun to make too. The word "imaginary" was done by hand.

Experimenting with blurring techniques. It's mediocre. :\

A vector done in an....art nouveau-esque style? The text at her hem was kind of difficult and half-assed. :\ I took text and manipulated it by hand in Illustrator.

Experimenting. =__=

More random experimenting. D:

Baww I'm tired. No more large pieces kthnx. :\

LunarMaster
Love the bear and bees. They have a fun style to them. It is a bit hard to read the text underneath "imaginary doodle" and also the "imaginary" word you created by hand (the letters are to smudged to be legible). The bee's wings are also too similar in color to the background in the second image (it's hard to tell if the bee has wings). Besides my tiny complaints they look great smile.gif
Dragon Brigade
The Yuffie one where you were working on the blurring isn’t really all that bad, but the image in the center-left could have used more work. It didn’t really blend in well with the surroundings, and that hurt especially when Yuffie’s weapon (stars?) abruptly cuts it off. I mean, that would be a nice touch, but since the rest sort of sticks out, it doesn’t help much...The stock on the right could have probably been blended in more as well. Overall though, I didn’t think this one was that bad, but I guess that’s just me.

My favorites would be these icons:

The rest are very good as well, but these ones stood out more to me, as they were “darker”, if that makes sense. Appealed more to my interests, I suppose.

Anyway, great stuff as always, Apple =).
Apple
LOLS, I never thought of them looking as "smudged" before, it's supposed to have a bubble-look to them you know? When I was writing it out with my tablet, I wanted to make it all cute and bubbly. I thought it looked pretty legible. @_@

djlfa;ja I'm not really sure of what part you mean by "cut off"? D: Maybe the bottom of the Yuffie on the right? @_@ Cause that's a paper rip that I tried to simulate. It's like....a wallpaper done in a paper-collage style. Like, with lots of rips and abrupt cuts, as if I had collaged it by hand you know? <:D
Dragon Brigade
What I meant was that the stock on the left flows into the large stock of Yuffie on the right, but it sort of clashes... I liked the “cut off paper” feel on the one to the right, but the stock on the left seemed a bit...I dunno. “Not blended”. Yeah, I dunno. Maybe that makes more sense. If not, just ignore my babbling, haha =).

I haven't really been making much over the past few months. To be honest, working in photoshop with my laptop sucks more than with my desktop, and school+living with friends = no real free time to dabble on computers.

But here are some smaller things I've been making lately, as well as my fieldpiece submission. (Which was so halfassed. D: The quality and design of it is so poor.)

And lately I've been making artist-series icons. Pretty much some awesome modern-contemporary artist's works with their names on it.

These are a little more simple and direct, but all I wanted to do was show the art and the artist's names.

Those would have to be my favorites. They just stood out to me when I browsed through them all. I love all your icons though. They're all quite visually appealing. Sorry, I don't have much else to say...Good work though. =).
LagunaWannabe
Any chance you'd be willing to make a tutorial on how you make your avatars? I'dlove to learn how to do that kind of style but it never seems to work out for me.
Apple
I have like, 4 tutorials on 4 older avies over at AppendixSquared. I'm planning on making more recent ones when I revamp the site, but alas.....I'm getting lazy to make thumbnails lols.
LagunaWannabe
any chance u could send me the .psd files? I'd love to just see the contrtuction of how to blend and layer because I really have a horrible time with avatars.
Apple
I dunno if I has them anymore. ; ; I think the tutorials should be able to tell you how to make the ones they're for in depth, since I spent a lot of them to be detailed.....

For the recent ones though, I might have one or two .psd's. Because they're so small and...unimportant (?) to me I usually don't save them.

Argh brainfart. D:
Pesmerga
Your latest avatars look pretty good. They're all very stylish and I wish I could make avatars like that myself.
