Anyone seen it?

Its only 13 episodes. Go to veoh and search "Tales of Eternia Episode 1"

However its got the all the main characters, craymels and plenty of laughs plus Infernia battle music and monsters happy.gif

Its basically a massive sidequest before Mt Farlos

Started watching it - realised it had very little to do with the main storyline of the game and then decided to give it a miss as i wasn't particularly over keen on the art style used and it just didn't appeal to me as a whole - suppose i should have given more than 10 minutes but just didn't have the inclination.
As a whole it just seemed to lack the quality of the ToP and ToS OVAs or perhaps that was just me.

Might the age of the anime (2001)

Still I found it had plenty of laughs smile.gif

Personally I haven’t seen this yet (though now that I’ve finished ToS OVA, I was thinking of checking out the animes based off the other games), but I probably will sometime. If I recall correctly they made a Phantasia one as well, didn’t they? I’d probably start watching that one first, just because I’m actually playing the game, so I might appreciate it more, but I’m sure I’ll watch the Eternia anime sometime. Once I do, I’ll let you all know what I think of it XD.

I was actually cleaning out my anime folder last night and I noticed I had a few episodes of this series. I might watch it one of these days since I really liked the game.

Its a possibility but i've watched stuff of a similar age and i've enjoyed them, and tbh looking at it i thought it would have been a bit older than that but thats just me.

I dont know - some shows just jump out at you and you know your going to have to watch more - the ToS OVA did this as did ToP, to the extent that i nearly imported it for when i get round to finishing the game after just wacthing the first few scenes and at only £10 for a genuine copy of the american release its even a bit of a bargain, even if its only 4 episodes long. Unfortunately ToE just wasn't one of those animes for me - hopefully it'll turn out to be one of those that takes a few episodes to draw you in but atm my 'to watch' list for anime is much longer even than my 'to play' list so it could be a while before i get round to giving it the chance it deserves.
