what was the first anime/manga you ever watched/read???
The first Anime i saw was sadly Pokemon. then Inu-Yasha and Dragon Ball Z.
My first Manga was nuisaca:vally of the wind.

Poke'mon, made me late to school for a couple years straight.

Hm. Voltron? Otherwise, probably Pokémon, or perhaps DBZ. I forget which of those two I watched first.

Hmm, my first anime from what I can remember was Pokemon/DBZ a number of years back. My first manga, would've been Naruto.

I watched a few episodes of Voltron when I was REALLY small, and like one episode of DBZ (felt like every time I watched it, I watched the same episode over and over...)

As far as the first full-length anime thing, I would have to go with Little Nemo and the adventures in Dreamland. BEST EVER!!!! PAZAMA PAJAMA!!!!!

As far as the MOVIES that made me love anime, I would have to say Armitage III, and Green Ninja Wren

Assuming you mean the first one you've ever seen, Then Speed Racer... I hated it...

Now, Assuming you mean the first one I liked : Elfen Lied ... And it is to date, The only anime I like.

I'm not sure if it was my first but it is amoung those first anime I saw as kid, and really liked, is a Serie named Starzinger (or spaceketeers for you americans) later after when I started to see anime, I saw it in a magazine and I had to see it again, and is my top fav anime!

my first manga... dragonball, never bought one book, I read them all in the store between classes, funny they didn't notice me!
now I'm not a big fan of dragonball it was just the only mmanag back then, later came One Piece, and I found my love!

my first anime, the one that got me hooked on anime was Berserk (the best anime ever!!) i just loved ever minute of this anime and yes even the ending!!

The first anime I ever watched was Super Dimensional Fortress Macross. No, not Robotech.

Macross. From there, I watched Gundam and later on down the line, Evangelion.

My first anime was Sailor Moon, that was the best show when I was growing up and even my friends who don't watch anime like me watched it as well. Go Sailor Jupiter!

Manga... lets see.. I didn't read manga until recently since I didn't really care about it too much. My first manga I read would probably be the first volume of Tsubasa, then I bought all of the volumes up till the current one at the time. It's annoying how long it takes for the next volume to be released. I'll be waiting for years...

DBZ, I remember it showed on CBS or some broadcast station like that, before it went away and went to cable. My first manga, Samurai Deeper Kyo. I loved the manga, but after watching the anime I stopped reading the manga. Gotta sell my collection too.

My first anime and manga are pretty simple and expected.

My first anime was Dragonball Z, watched it all the time on Cartoon Network when I was younger. My first manga was Rurouni Kenshin, though when I realized just how expensive they were to buy, I stopped reading manga shortly thereafter.

My first Anime was probably between Pokemon or DBZ because they're on Cartoon Network. Other than the stuff on TV, when I really got into it, my first was Naruto. My first Manga though was Samurai Deeper Kyo. The Anime made me want to kill someone for how horribly it went off track. T_T

Maaaan... I wish I had a cool answer. My First anime was probably Pokemon. It was also one of the first turn-based RPGs I played (after Final Fantasy VII and VIII), so basically that annoying kids program has probably shaped me into the man I am today... I hate my generation <.<

First Manga I read was Azumanga Diaoh. It was funny when I first read it and it's still funny today.

Samari Pizza Cats, Dragon Ball and Sailor Moon were my first animes. My first magna's was and still is the Akira ones. I have all 6 books and I love the story.

First Anime was Slayers. I used to watch it on Spanish TV were they called it 'Reena y Gaudi' 0_o. I only watched about 10 episodes of it while on holiday but i stayed obsessed with it for about 3 years. Xellos! Anyways, then i watched all the episodes online First Manga was Rurouni Kenshin

Then I went on to buy Sakura Taisen OVA.

I've had a geezer at Death Note Manga, but that was only to see the original ending. Other then that I don't think that I'll ever get into Mangas... The whole comic book layout doesn't appeal to me.
