I'm still not able to decide whether I should cash in those precious Sheriff Stars for some 100% Orange, because I have been going around fighting these "green-pillar-crystal" bosses just fine without them. (Because, honestly, 5000 turns of 100's in damage don't sound fun at all.)

What setup do you have when fighting these things?

I beat most of them just fine, and I never used that Orange 100 badge.

Sheriff Stars are great because they have all the abilities of the other A ranked badges. Punch Glove is good for Dean obviously, since he has Double Critical. And the setup I had for Rebecca and Avril was to give them the badge that made them attack continousely. I forgot it's name but you do between 3 - 7 attacks. (Its random how many you do) It's good for Rebecca because she also has a Continous Shot ability so she can do up to 15 or so attacks in one turn if you're lucky. I eventually gave that to Dean as well.
I'm not sure what else I had though... I have to check.

But if you unlock the Black Market you can buy a lot of useful stuff at the cost of your level.
You can earn easy level ups by keeping some people at a high level and going to strong places to level up the ones on level 1.

100% Orange Badge is mainly used for one or two characters. If you fight a sub-quest boss that's causing you too much trouble, then equip the 100% Orange Badge. Just keep reviving characters with the character with the 100% Orange Badge. If you like the challenge of the game, I do not recommend using the 100% Orange Badge. The game no longer challenging once you use the 100% Orange Badge since that character will likely never be killed. While the character wearing the badge can heal and damage an ally or enemy by a 100, the character can revive party members with a 100 health. More than enough to continue attacking the enemy until it's defeated.

Also, the character wearing the badge could be made as a decoy. Taking the damage other characters likely can't survive.

Heh, I beat the game last night! biggrin.gif

Ragu o Ragla ended up easier than the worst of the overworld pillar, those Furfur duo.

I ended up abusing DP to delay enemy's turn to nothingness and rack up additional damage from the combo bonuses! Violator badge ftw. That's why the Furfurs were tough, because they come in two.

I've spent too many Full Revive though, so...
