I'm replaying ff10 and I was just wondering what other people think happened to him?

I think he stayed in Spira my brother thinks he went back to zanarkand what do you guys think?

I think that he ran off with one of his blitzball fans he was re-united with after he went back to Zanarkand.

When he disappeared, he re-appeared in Zanarkand and was allowed to play Blitz again. There, he amassed wealth and hot chicks and became "involved" with one of them. After the baby, he married her and resided in a huge mansion on the top of a high-rise that his team owned. After a few years, happily married of course, he had a dream that Yuna was calling for him and that she had completed 100% of her own adventure. He then dumped his wife and child on the street and followed after his old man Ject by running back to Spira to help have a "perfect ending" to a horrible game that everyone hates (unless you're either extremely perverted or lesbian) and hooking-up with his old girl who is now more of a slut than ever. Now, they both live in spira hating each other. The only reason why she still stays is because her CD's are in his airship, and it will take another few years of abuse until she can finally muster up the courage and leave him.

NOW, that being said. I LOVE FFX, and HATE FFX2. (hence the nice ending to 10 and the horrible ending for X-2)

I think he died and went to Hell, at least I hope he did.

The Fayth stopped their dream, so I believe he simply vanished. But he is seen swiming towards the surface in the end, so who knows.

I think Yuna was his Caitlin Bree so he got back to Zanarkand and fell in love with a guy named Typhoon and they currently live in the Great Plains where they raise sheepcobos.

That was the Farplane (Farplain?).

We have some intelligent people here. If Athrun doesn't know then the writers for the game didn't plan anything after Tidus faded. =p

With X-2 I'd say they had no reason to explain anything since the fangirls wouldn't care just as long as Tidus showed up.

But seriously, in the best ending he came back and will most likely stay with Yuna, despite the Fayth's dreams having ended. At least, it's implied that he won't vanish again.

But frankly, I don't care what happens to him in the first place. =S

I think something screwed up when he jumped ship at the end of X, and instead of dying he fell straight through those clouds and took a nose dive into the ocean, where he stayed until the end of X-2 because he just couldn't be bothered putting up with Yuna's crap.

How I loved FFX.

What's the point of this crazy mess. Yuna save the world, and as her reward, Tidus return. End of story. Case close....

Why is it pointless... It's actually a very good point... what DID happen to Tidus? The only thing keeping him alive were the fayth... and they died... FFX-2 makes no sense. They should have just had Tidus re-appearing in a shower a-la Dallas style (that would have driven the fan-girls crazy). Naaa... Tidus died, the 100% complete ending never happened. The one where Yuna shouts "higher" did. Then she got so high that she dreamed Tidus came back and all their friends suddenly appeared in Besaid. It reeks of delusion.

I think its best for all parties to assume that Tidus faded out of existence when the fayth died, and was never seen or ehard from again. I'm one of the few that thought FFX-2 was a good, even great game, but the Tidus part at the end was unnecessary. %They went a different direction with the plot in X-2 oppose to a ful-on "i mustget tidus back" storyline,and it was good, the crimson squad stuff was even inspired, but the tidus moment at the end was tacked on.

So ya, Tidus = dead, non-existant. It cheapens the end of ten otherwise imo.
