I don't really come here much anymore, but when I ran out of anime and didn't know of any good new stuff, I immediately thought of asking here.... well, actually, I thought about asking here several days later after I couldn't find any on my own and my friend was to stingy to lend me some dvds.

Basically, uhm... I like josei, seinen, shoujou, shounen, in that order, but there are obvious exceptions. My most recent favorites are Honey and Clover and Nodame Cantabile (although this one was drama, so does it count?). My biggest long term favorites are Serial Experiments Lain, Kimi wa Petto, and Sailor Moon. I also just recently re-discovered Cardcaptors and I think it is absolutely awesome.

Could someone recommend some anime that would fit those sorts of lines?


Also, unrelated, how does one change their email address forwarding and password and stuff? I'm probably going to access again late at night, and I'm not very good with big words and logical configuration then, so help would be greatly appreciated.

I think you'd probably enjoy My-HiME and it's other incarnation, My-Otome.

Both are classified as Seinen and the plot and characters are really exellent. I've never had a complain about the art and the music for the series was done by Yuki Kajiura, the same composer who worked on Xenosaga II and III. It has a bit of that 'magical-girl' ish feel to it, especially Otome, but it's still quite good.

Great Shoujo Anime : Honey and clover(you know this one), Ai Yori Aoshi, Kita~e Diamond Dust Drops

Great Shounen Anime : Law of Ueki, Full Metal Alchemist
