(Takes place in 2037) Inside each world, there is a shining core. The life source that keeps the world alive, the heart of the world, if you will. Earth has one, and that's what is supplying its will to win the most horrific war ever. Unfortunately, it's also what's keeping their enemy going as well. The members of a floating city in the sky, Loirage, are capturing the hearts of the world, trying to get enough as to rebuild their own world. Earth is the last one they need before they can return home, and have a home to go to. And, although superior to Loirage's technology--or rather, lack there of--Earth is falling behind thanks to Loiragians invading the planet, undercover, and then capturing whole cities, or sometimes even countries, at a time. Things are looking grim for the people. Now, Earth's only hope, lies within harnessing the power of their core, to defeat the Loiragians once and for all. After all, the Loiragians have no right to destroy Earth, when the Earthens weren't responsible for the destruction of their planet... Right? A web of lies, within a web of lies, within a web of lies. Hell is coming for both of them, and neither will see it coming a mile away.

Other:She's become a powerful asset for the Loirage force, an account of the fact that she does not have glaringly obvious wings like the rest of her kind, but instead was only born with Wing Tattoos on her back, so she can bring out a pair of black wings whenever she pleases.

She gets sick quite easily, and had asthma as a child, so her bronchial tubes are weaker than most.

I would like you to read the Roleplay Creation Rules & Guides before you continue with this. And I know from experience that running two roleplays at the same time is not easy, so you may want to reconsider making this roleplay.

I read them. But I really don't understand what's wrong with it. Would you mind clarifying what it is?

Mind you, I am not a moderator (if you can't guess by my staggering number of posts) but from a players point of view, I'm somewhat confused on the storyline, and I think the problem is the lack of info. Why is the war fought (or at least how much the average person would know)? What exactly are the people/creatures in the flying city? Just people with wings? I'm not trying to be a know-it-all here, just giving some ideas based off past experience. This rp seems interesting enough... just needs some developing.

This is the problem. It's not long enough. I have this rule specifically to make sure that roleplays have enough info to start with, so that like Bom said, roleplays have something to judge whether they want to join or not.

I have no idea whats your reason for no characters older then 22 years old either.

Are the people of Loirage looks the same as earth's, any other significance difference?

Do they have better and more powerful technology or do they have magical abilities.

What is the reason of war?

Since you are using a halberd, is it during medieval era?

How did the world crumbled? By the aftermath of war? Or by corruption of humans.

Much better. If I have free time I'll get around to thinking up a character. Been a bit busy of late. So those of Loraige have weapons of the middle ages and those of earth have more modern weapons right? Oh and what does your average... Loraigean(?) look like? Just people with wings?

All of them are shockingly good looking. xD And, most of them have wings.

Photo/Appearance: Rick is tall with messy dark brown hair that seems to have a mind of its own. He has greenish eyes and mildly tanned skin. He tends to wear an all black suit, minus tie.

History(Optional):Rick, although not a member of a particular military, has fought in a few battles when he was attacked by the forces of Loraige. He was an up and coming arms dealer before the war, and has gained a reputation for efficiency and ability to deliver quality goods to buyers. He finds this war to his dislike, because he usually supplies both sides with weapons. In this war all he can supply are smaller countries and groups.

Other: Rick has a somewhat dark outlook life and things in general. As you might imagine by his career path, his life hasn't exactly gone well. He tends to find humor in dark situations and is closed to most people. To those few he opens up to, he stays true to forever.

Personality: He is a kind hearted soul, but is not easily attracted by most people, though he is quite attractive in a strange sense. He does however have a bit of a wise ass tone to him, in which if you say something utterly ridiculous, he will let you know.

Weapon/Magic Skills: He uses 'Flow Magic' in which he can help to control the flow of lightning, water, and other sources of energy, even the wind. He weilds a light sword looking thing that is dulled for when he has to fight close up, it is almost fan shaped.

Side(Earth or Loirage): Earth (From Loirage though)

Photo/Appearance: He is about six foot, he wears no shoes, and no shirt. His pants are simple torn jeans. His eyes are an icy blue. His wings are almost angelic, and the feathears fade from a dark blue on top, to an icy blue on bottom. His hair is about mid shoulderblade length, and twists slightly. It is died a Dark blue, and fades to an icy blue at the bottom like his wings. He keeps the top of it in a ponytail, and the rest is left down, just enough to keep it out of his eyes. He wears elbow length, fingerless silk like gloves. His nails are painted icy blue. His lips seem to have a tint of blue to them, and his skin is almost pale. He is well built, but not huge. The exception are his broad shoulders and large bone structure. His left ear is pierced three times, and his right ear twice.

History(Optional): Though he was born on Loirage, his parents died after he was brought to earth. There he was raised in an orphanage, and he sees the wrong the Loiragians are doing. He earned his name because of the simple fact that he was born half Earthen, and half Loiragian. Raised on Earth, he is now a part of their society. Though he has had to deal with his fair share of being made fun of, and treated differently, he is now accepted by those that know him.

Other: He likes peanut butter sandwhiches, to a point of were that is one of the few things he will eat... Pointless I know, but its his favorite food. OH, and he is utterly neutral in this war, though he does find some Loiragian girls quite cute.

Personality: Almost always happy, helpful but has a tendency to be inconsiderate. Tends to be hesitant.

Weapon/Magic Skills: He is not much of a fighter. If someone makes him fight, he'll use a Hammer. Ace skilled in the art of healing.

Side(Earth or Loirage): Earth

Photo/Appearance: Green hair that's shoulder length. He has a ankle long braid which usually is at his back. He is 5.8 feet. His clothes are a white shirt and black pants. Sandals are his favourite foot ware. His eyes were brown but a illness tainted his eyes a bright orange. And he wears glasses.. Ace looks tired most of the time since healing is quite tiring.
His skin is white. He is slim but not skinny, but using the hammer has given him some muscles. His left leg is replaced with a metal leg. He also has a orange headband that he uses when he heals people so that his hair doesn't disrupt his concentration.

History(Optional): Ace was born on Earth. His father taught him everything he knows about healing and medicine. Ace's father got killed in a raid by Humans. They killed him because he helped people from Earth and Loirage. Ace ran away from the humans and survived by healing people for food. One day when Ace was walking between two cities a scout of Loirage attacked Ace with a blade covered in poison. The blade slashed his left leg. Luckily for Ace some humans saw what had happened had chased the scout away. Ace's rescuers cured him from the poison but they had to remove his leg to make sure the poison didn't enter his bloodstream, but a bit had already mixed with his blood. A doctor saw Aces talent and helped him by creating a robotic leg.

Other: Is from Earth but race doesn't mean anything to him. He will heal and help anyone that needs it. The ability to heal is a side-effect from the poison.

Name: Haerra Herst [Pronounciation : Hay-rah Hers]

Age: 16

Gender: Female

Personality: Calm and easy to talk with, Haerra mingles with youths of her age easily. While carrying out missions, she is cautious and relies primarily on her comrades and her instincts, which has been honed sharply thanks to her years as a hunter.

Weapon: Arbalest, a modified crossbow mounted onto her right forearm via a gauntlet. Its prod (bow) is detached in halves normally, and folded to be kept parallel over the shelf (where the bolt rests normally). Its trigger is tied against her palm, designed to fire each time she squeezed it (except when the prod is detached).

Magic : Very minor control of the wind. She is able to control the bolts fired by Arbalest to a certain extent. It ranges from mild angle adjustions to a 90 degree L turn. Anything beyond that, such as an extravagent U-turn, is impossible. She is incapable of utilizing wind attacks.

Side: Loirage

Appearance: Fairly short (just a little above 5 ft or 1.55m) and skinny with brunette hair in the shape of a bob, she appears to be hardly a fighter. Yet the muscles that reach from her shoulders down to her wrists prove otherwise. Determined almond eyes lay over an unfreckled nose and pink peach-like lips on a round fair palm-sized face. Despite her slight frame, her large, perhaps overmatured, brownish-gray wings appear to be double her size at full length. When retracted, they extend just beyond her shoulders.


History: Born in the year when their world was destroyed, Haerra bears no memories of the tragedies and losses experienced by others elder than herself. However, the loss of her mother who had died in that same year, she would never forget. Or rather could not, whenever she stared into the almond eyes of her beloved father. Eyes that betrayed his loss, his despair, and also rage. Rage at those that took his wife from him.

Under the tutelage of her father, she learnt the art of using a crossbow. From building to reparations to hunting, none were not taught by her father, who even educated her on controlling the bolts with elements of the wind.

Now, she is a member of the offensive forces amongst the Loiragions responsible for most of the wreckages unleashed upon Earth. Her purpose was simple; to help the rebuilding of their world, where her mother could finally be buried in and where the future generations of their Loiragions would be able to live in peace.


Other: Due to her ability to control the flight of her shots, Haerra has a 99% shot accuracy, earning herself the nickname "Sniper" amongst her teammates. On a side note, she floats 99% most of the time as well, due to the heavy wings on her back, and the single person whom she had ever missed was her team leader, Draeya.

Name: Collin Stur

Age:17

Gender:male

Weapon/Magic Skills: Uses mainly his long spear, but can also use a bow quite well.

Side(Earth or Loirage): Loirage (i believe i will be the only male Loirage...)

Photo/Appearance: He is kind of short, about 5'7, and is not too muscular, but whats not strength is replaced with speed. He uses his speed to avoid and hit his enemies with force most humans can't muster. For clothing and head appearance he has shoulder length bright red hair, hazel eyes, wears usual clothing that Loirage wears and his wings are white.

History(Optional): Collin has served under Loirage all his life and all he wants to do is regain a lost planet that has been lost from Loirage. He has not participated in main combat untill now and is quite afraid of what may happen, but sets his goals high and never gives up untill he knows that he's finished.

Other: Collin is very pleasant to be around and is very kind to all that are friend to him, but is very vigourous to his enemies. He likes to tell jokes, but they are usually very bad and no one really laughs...

-Appearance: Long white hair down to his shoulders, Ray wears a light (thin) chain mail shirt, no sleeves. Two rather large black wings, torn and with holes in them, all over them. He wears very loose black cargo shorts about an inch below his knees. No shoes. Rays' eyes are lime green and are easily seen due to his light complexion. He never tans. Sometimes he may wear a straw hat on his head, on a hot day.

History(Optional): In short, Ray was raised to do what was right on the floating city known as Loriage. His fathers teachings taught him that, and his mothers kindness showed it was possible. However, due to his irregular color of wings, Ray was easily picked on in school and outside of home.
The years of bullying lead him to conclude that the only true good Loriagen was his mother, and the disfigurement of his wings which made it all the more difficult to fly.
Finally Ray had enough, he packed his bags (so to speak) and headed out with the troops that were sent to invade earth. Of course, he wasn't part of their military, so he had to sneak in. Upon landing on earth, Ray got away from any of his kind as fast as he could, hoping to find civilization elsewhere, to start anew.

Other: Ray also goes by Torn, and lives high up in trees in the forest not too far from a decent sized city/village.

since im new to this forum im not sure, but in all other forums that i know of they start a new thread for the story and keep the character one for the OOC stuff

Yup, you start a new topic in the Role Playing Forum for the IC, most probably named "Thinning Lines IC" or something similar, with the starting post.

If you have any notes for other RPers in the RP, which you don't want to post into the OOC, you can add a [OOC: <insert what you want to write here>] at the start or end of the IC post.'


EDIT: IC threads are only created after the RP is approved, therefore, they are only posted in the Role Playing Forum.
