I was just doing another bout of KH2: FM with my sister and we went up against several types of Nobodies in Titan Cup, and we got so irritated with the Berserker Nobody. Then I suddenly wanted to know what other types of Heartless or Nobodies (or Org XIII members) that you guys find very annoying to fight.

List one to five Heartless or Nobodies type that you really hate, and another one to three boss. You can put Final Mix ones down too. Likewise, if there's a type of enemy that you find that you like (well the mushrooms in FM comes to mind, with their funky disco dance pose), you can list them too. ^^

There's only one fight in Kingdom Hearts 2 that I remember being near impossible to win and that would be the fight against Xaldin of Organization XIII. It's the only time I had a difficult time with a battle in this game. The rest of the battles were not that difficult, not including the Colosseum since I was not into the game that much to be bother playing the Colosseum and it's cups this time around.

While most battles were not difficult, the game made things quite difficult at times by adding the side effect of transforming into anti-form. This become a vexing problem when you change into this form and have no method of damage the boss you might be fighting and need to wait until you transform back to normal. I wasn't too happy about this transformation side effect being add. It's just a plain annoyance.

Eh? Anti-form is very strong! D: My sister has this insane Anti-form rate and she pulled two Anti-forms on two seperate Absent Silhoettes (FM exclusive, lingering weakened wills of CoM Organization XIII) and pwned them because Anti deals very high damage and high combo count, and at the same time, takes much lesser damage. It would have taken longer if she didn't go into Anti-form.

Ahh, I heard about Xaldin being difficult. My sis fought him, but I've a save file for fighting him again, so maybe I'll post more about him later.

To my knowledge, Anti-form took more damage while dealing more damage. I did not hate Anti-form, but it's random and when I transform into Anti-form in a fight where regular attacks will not work, it's quite troublesome since Anti-form takes a greater amount of damage than the other forms Sora can transform into.

I transform into anti-form against Xaldin and was easily wiped out when he attacked from the side of the bridge, where I couldn't attack him until he came back into range.

Darn you all non-US residents... You get the cool stuff sad.gif

But ya, I didn't enjoy that punk og XIII member with that friggin guitar. The first fight wasn't hard, but the second time was an extreme booger!!

“Dance, water, dance!” I loved that guy =). As for monsters I didn’t like...The only one that comes to mind right now are those mushroom type things (or bells, whatever) that shoot fireballs at you. I don’t know what they’re called, but maybe you guys will know which ones I’m referring to anyway. They just bothered me, quite frankly, and too many of them popped up at once...Otherwise, I can’t think of many, really.

Yeah I have a few that are really annoying, or I hate fightin. Mainly some bosses in the Garden Of Assemblage.

The first one that comes to mind is Zexion. Every time I get transformed into a book, it takes forever to find the real Zexion, and when I do he cancels the effect of the spell.

Another one that's a pain is Luxord. Mainly because I still have no idea how to effectively fight him, and his attacks get way too strong after he reaches a certain power. I have a hard time doing the triangle action to lower his power, because I can rarely get the timing right because of his attacks that seem to hit me wherever I am on the stage.

Marluxia was never annoying, but could get frustrating if you suddenly just die after a long drawn out fight, before you realised what to do to increase the death counter. When I figured out how to play, he actually became my favorite boss fight in the game. And I usually replay his fight just for fun.

But Xemnas in Garden Of Assemblage is just way too hard. It takes ages just to get to his final form, and once I did, he owned me in a second.
I haven't even attempted to fight him again because it felt so hopeless.
Seluna
O.o You can increase the death counter. OOHHHH.... does that work for the absent silhoette of Marly too or only from the garden?

Is it a floating little guy that summons fireballs around you?

I hate the cars heartlesses. Irritating as hell.

It works for both fights. See the second picture of Sora standing on top of his schyte? If you do the Triangle action command, it should hurt Marluxia and increase the death counter above Sora's head by 10 or so.

Athrun
In Kingdom Hearts II: Final Mix, yeah.

Yeah, those are them. Couldn’t remember what they were called, haha...When they start summoning fireballs, they never stop, and sometimes I can’t run faster than them, even if I’m rolling >.o.
Seluna
Mhmm... those firey buggers are major pain in the bottom.

Holy, I'm so going to find Marly's absent silhoette and try again then. Reaction command, righto.

1. I hate those dinosaur type heartless. The Hades cup, in the round near the end with the three of them mixed with other enemies, they drove me insane because for some reason, they'd always connect and knock Sora flying.

2. The jack in the box things..Also in the Hades cup, and I forget where else. Their claws annoyed me.

There's one more enemy I hated, but I forget the name for this one as well, but basically they were little guys in boxes, and on critical health they'd hide in the boxes until you got close enough, where they'd pop up and stick a round in you.

As for bosses, the only boss I can say I really despised was one of the organization members, with the guitar thing that used a lot of water attacks. Killing him off drove me crazy, because his attacks were just, brutal.
DragonsVenom
In Kingdom Hearts 1, the only boss that I found annoying was the stupid thing in the desert. It took forever to break down it's magic shield...

In Kingdom Hearts 2, there are many enemies I despised.
The first being the large fiery bell things that have already been mentioned. Even with transforming to Valor and basically dashing across the air with square, I still get shot out of the air. Fighting two of them is almost impossible because you can't keep a combo long enough to use a strong finishing blow. In the end, I just spam thunder/thundara/thundaga.
The large robot heartless that originate in Tron's world. They have the, "bump" reaction command with the meteor drop/smash also. Those are incredibly annoying because they can take a beating and outside of a finishing blow, you can't stun them. (Thunder also works well on them. biggrin.gif)
The Dancer Nobodies. I have never been so frustrated in that game after being juggled around the colloseum floor by 3-4 of them until I died. Thunder and fire both work amazing and these guys...

And for bosses...
Xaldin was hard, although I found Anti-form to be rather useful. In my attempt to kill him, whenever I entered anti-form, I would simply jump and all of his spears would somehow miss me. Why? I have no idea, but it worked! I could air combo him the entire time I was in anti form without getting hit and when in Anti-form you run/jump faster than you do normally so it's easier to avoid the large snake thing when he gets off of the bridge. Of course, you need to time it right, but Anti-form was one of the reasons I was actually able to kill him in Proud mode without having to rely on Mickey.
Outside of Xaldin, I never had any issues with any of the bosses in KH2. I believe I was killed by a couple of them going through on my Proud file, but nothing a second run through couldn't fix.
I haven't fought Sephy on my Proud file yet, but on my normal file, I was able to kill him at lvl 71, and since then, I've only gotten better at the game overall.

I don't have FM+ to fight the other members, but I really wish I did... sad.gif

Heartless:

Large Bodies and their Agrabah lookalikes used to bug me, but I found a trick for them: Switch to Valor. That skill when you hit Square mid-combo: just attack once (attack is deflected) and then nail Square, and the attacks always sends them flying up/back a bit, giving an opening for a combo.
(Well, of course there's also the Reaction Command for the Large Bodies, but that's only when they slide around anyway, so although this trick is aimed more at the Agrabah ones, it should work fine for the originals as well.)

My god. Not so much in the easier modes, but in Proud Mode, any of those magic-casters were annoying as hell. They'd always dodge half of your attacks. (I might be thinking of the first game, but I think they were similar in KH2.)

On that note, yeah, those bigger fire-based ones... ugh. Enemies with uninterruptible attacks are epic failure. If it weren't for that, they wouldn't be nearly as much of a problem. If it's just one, or they're close together, Blizzard spells work well. (Also stuns them, if I remember correctly.) Otherwise, I just rely on physical attacks, and take the resulting beating. As long as I hurt them more, I don't care. Lol.

The monkeys occasionally bugged me, but no big deal ultimately. (Mainly when they keep teasing you, jumping out of the way of attacks at the last minute, constantly. Happens more in Proud.)

Those jack-in-the-box things were indeed annoying. Both of them were, really. The claw-spamming ones, and the ones with guns. I don't even remember exactly how they were annoying. I just remember them being annoying.

Gummi Ship-only -- Those cling-on things always annoyed me. Even if you just spin and send them flying, they'd die, but you wouldn't get any items from them. I don't think it even added onto your score. If you didn't kill them quickly enough, they just got annoying. ...Was always fun to send a bunch flying off at once, though, and use them as weapons. ^^;

Nobodies:

Dancers, period. ...Well, almost. Dancers, I think, annoyed pretty much everybody. Anytime I see them, I tend to just switch into some form or other and spam... whatever has a good change of wiping out as many as possible in as short a time as possible. (Usually Firaga/Thundaga, though Wisdom's long-range attacks help, and Master/Final's hovering blades help a ton.) Again, enemies with uninterruptible attacks are epic failure. They just come out of f***ing nowhere and grab you, and once they do, there's no avoiding it whatsoever. Sure enough, they tend to chain them together, too. As far as I know, there's no real way to dodge it, either, other than jumping and praying.

Berserkers, though my main issue with them is when they spam that pogo-stick attack. They're practically invincible during it, and when they keep chaining them, it gets horribly annoying very quickly. Thundaga-spam is the way to go with these guys. (God bless Master/Final forms.)

Other:

The undead pirates. All of them. When Port Royal's got more shadows than moonlight, it's pretty annoying to wait for their weak point to appear. dry.gif

Bosses:

The Grim Reaper, in Port Royal. Just like the pirates, temporary invulnerability is a pain. Hey, anyone ever gotten screwed by getting Anti-Form in this fight? Wonderful. No Reaction Commands, and thus, no progress.

Demyx, 2nd fight, in Hollow Bastion/Radiant Garden. Specifically, in Proud Mode. How long was it you had to get rid of the clones? Like, ten seconds? Ridiculous. And if you didn't, you got a game over? Why? That never even made sense to me. "Oh god, I've been swarmed to death." *sigh* Anyway, yeah, Demyx was somewhat of a challenge in his second fight (despite Jiminy saying he can't fight well), but especially in Proud Mode.

Xaldin. Honestly, I didn't have that hard of a time with him at all in my first file, while I still had problems with everyone else I mentioned. Once I jumped into Proud Mode, though... Man. I got my ass whooped by him so many times. I was lucky enough to get Mickey a few times, but he didn't help. He probably died even quicker than Sora did. I just kept retrying until I finally got him with Sora.

Gummi Ship-only -- My god. Has anyone else fought that thing at the end of Assault of the Dreadnought Level 3? Whyyyyyyyyyyyyy? I finally took it down, but man, that battle lasted a good hour or so, I think. (Maybe it just seemed longer than it was.)
