One trait I wish mainly .hack fans would have more, is to specify which game they're talking about. For example, I'm not sure if you're refering to the original .hack series, or G.U.

Another example is a PM I got a while ago from someone asking me how to "kill the killer snake"
I had no idea what game it was about. Not only within the .hack franchise, but it could have been any game. Super Mario, even Nintendogs. The person didn't mention what game it was at all. But it turns out it was about a .hack game, and for some reason I've seen a lot more of those things in this section.

Anyway, besides not knowing chich game you're refering to, I also don't know what "suicide hunting" you're refering to. Is this a previous topic you've made?
Not sure what kind of strategies you're looking for, that's why.

ah...... once again i wasnt being specific sorry about that but i am very absent minded..... anyway. ill explain suicide hunting.
its an extreame to get money or items. on hack gu 3, i was lv 95 when i started. when i finished i was lv 134 during the sage palace tornament.

The game not difficult. I didn't even go to a random map for the majority of the game and won't have went to a random map if it wasn't for the Mecha Grunty and PK's quests. Why would you need to make it easier by using that strategy that you mention, king of sin? The strategy you mention sounds like power leveling up.

really king of sin.... i dont take chances with stuff like that kus i ALLWAYS die. i dont know about you but i prefer fighting enemies my level.

Ya, I do power leveling up too. It's not that risky, just save before going into a beefy area to fight... so you don't lose anything.
blazing passion
oh.... why didnt i think about that! okay wish me luck......(mommy)

sorry about my absence, i forgot my password and couldnt log in for a bit. anyway, suicide hunting is suicide... if you dont have a certain accesory...... im currently lvl 150 and i just beat taihaku. needless to say, fighting a lvl 150 boss on lvl 107 (alone) and winning pays off. but i recomend having atoli there as backup or atleast getting the help of tsuga the luck animal that saves you from death 3 times. so if you wanna try suicide hunting here are three important rules:

1) ALWAYS HAVE A MININUM OF 40-50 SMOKESCREENS.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

2) SAVE BEFORE HUNTING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

3) ALWAYS AVOID ANY MONSTER WITH THE FOLLOWING IN ITS NAME: DEATH, ANI, VAK, LEI!!!!!, RUE, GAN, ZAN, OMEGA!!!!!!!!, AND LEAGENDARY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

4) BE PREPARED TO DIE!!!!!!!

AND 5) MAKE SURE TO AVOID MONSTERS COMING TOWARDS YOU, AND GET AS MANY ITEMS AS POSSIBLE

Suicidal? Not so much. But you were 150 when you fought Taihaku? That's overkill. I'm serious. I was Lv. 117 when I fought Taihaku. And I still owned him. My stragedy? I have two.

If I need to Lv up ALOT, (Say for the FoP), then I go with the "ITEM-THEIR-ASSES-TO-THE-PAVEMENT" plan. Where I use tons of spell items. And I also use status items if the enemy is like 10 levels above me.

If I'm hunting for a certain item or thristing for PK blood, then I go with the, "NO-ENCOUNTER-IS-A-GOOD-ENCOUNTER" approach. Here I use my item: Fast Train Clogs, which has a material named "No Encounter" and I'm pretty sure alot of people know what this does. This equipment helps when I just need an item or looking for a battle area.
