I really couldn't see a connection between Leon and Aerith in the way which you speak of. I have not yet played FFVIII but I have recently purchased it and plan on playing it after I beat FF IV, V, and VI. =] So I have not had the chance to see the skill that Squall possesses yet. I am going to go with Cloud because I can't see anything going on between Squall and Aerith. =\

I'm not sure but she may be referring to a scene from Kingdom Hearts? I haven't finished playing the first one yet so I may be wrong.

Anyway, I like Squall but Cloud would win hands down judging by how powerful he became in Advent Children, Squall wouldn't even come close.
