Well i'm guessing this is probably widely known already but thought i'd post it for those like me who aren't completely up to date with what's going on.
I was expecting some sort of price cut at some point but once again its come a lot sooner than I was expecting - here's the new prices as of Friday 14th March:
Arcade: £159.99 (€199.99)
Premium: £199.99 (€269)
Elite: £259.99 (€369)
Definitely looking more attractive now - Eternal sonata, Lost Odyssey, once Tales of Vesperia is confirmed as region free then i'm jumping on this one.

If US is to follow, I don't see it getting any lower than 199$. That should be quite enough.

I hope they do, it'll be easier for me to get one.

I could have sworn I read something about lower US price at some point here soon.
Either way, go figure. Sony should have one by the Holidays as well.
Hey I may own a Halo machine yet again... If I don't get too bitter at it.

I remember you selling your 360 TED, after that rant you had then, you're not going to buy another one just because it's cheaper now, are you?

Probably won't.
Read the " If I don't get too bitter " part and where I said " May " again

. I get extremely annoyed at the monthly fee JUST to play online as the silver services offer everything else you see... I don't like the game selection, and even with a few RPG's on the way it's not enough to sway me. There's been too many years of nonsense just like the original box.
If I ever do get another one it'd be at least another year down the line. I can deal without playing Halo 3 which was the only exclusive I ever really spent major time with.

the fee doesn't have to be monthly though, you can pay 50$ and be done with it for a year.

Still retarded. You have to pay it JUST to play online. The rest of the XBL features are still made available to you on the silver level.

I guess it's for the principle of it. I can understand that. I wouldn't pay just to be able to play online either.

yeah, but silver is for nothing basically, it lets you do everything gold does, but it doesn't let you play games on live. What's the point?
