Two questions that are driving me nuts!!!

1. How the crap do I get Bo to be in my party (as opposed to that little jerk-wad Saku). How can I know whose online and whose not?? I really want to do that mushroom quest, but I can never seem to get Bo in my party.

2. What is the easiest way to get affection up?? (not as pressing, just a random question I had)

1.) Not sure about that. You can get Saku to disappear forever later in Vol 3, but that's not recommended. You won't be able to get the last characters if that happens.

2.) At the end of Vol 3, you'll get the area word BBQ plate, which has a special chim that increases affection.

1. Bo and Saku will appear based on your level. Once you reach the max level for the Volume, level 100 for 2 and level 150 for 3, then Bo and Saku will appear at random. You tell who you're getting by their avatar in the "Party" menu since Bo and Saku use different concept art. Bo and Saku do not share the same affection gauge, but Saku's gauge will be near max by the time you're able to use her again in Volume 3 since she'll be unavailable for the majority of Volume 3.

Athrun cover the fastest way to raise affection. You should max affection with characters that join your team in Volume 1 and 2 before that fast option even available. The fast option helps with the number of characters that join you near end game in Volume 3.

Really, you have to wait for Vol 3 for affection to be important. Sure, it helps to keep it up, since it carries into Vol 3, but still.

As for getting Bo in your party, you just have to be patient. Try logging in and out a couple times.

on vol 2 easy!!!!! i usually just fight alot. simply heal them everytime they get a scrach or instanyly revive them if they die. so far everones affec gauge is max exept for alkaid......(sniff)

YaY!!!! I finally got Bo to be in my party. I guess that patience thing helps, huh???

Bo? I always get him in my party. Especially in Vol. 2. But it really is down to luck when you hit the max levels.

As for raising affection in Two?

a.) BUY USEFUL ITEMS AND EQUIPMENT. (I'm serious. Endrance's inventory was FULL of s*** when I was finished. And he was near max.)

b.) Party with them and level up. (Or if you can't, leave them with you in a party and leave the game running. Or go on a random area.)

Keep them up to date with equipment and give them healing items. Give them all of these in forms of Gifts. Also, Greeting Cards seem to affect them as well. This may be because for them to answer one, you need to take them onto a field with you, but nonetheless, it seemed to help quite a bit when I was raising Alkaid's affection in Vol. 2.
