Hey alls. I just finished downloading the Serial Experiment: Lain series, and CRAP I"M CONFUSED!!!! (on episode 5)

Lemme see if I get this series straight:

- Lain = 8th grader
- Lain recieves "psyche processor" that allows a person to gain insane access to internet (called Wired)
- She already had a "wired" personality before she even knew what the wired was, which is an 180 flip of her normal personality
- She goes from a tech-moron to a hack-pro within days/months???

so that's what I have so far. Man, I gotta stop watching/playing games about someone totally messing up the internet in a way that it effects people IRL.... trippy.

Just remember, she loves you, because she's god. You don't wanna piss off God now do ya?

Apparently. Ya, I'm almost half way through the series now, and I think I'm starting to piece things together. It's quite.... thought provoking. Kinda like a trippy matrix-kinda thing.

You gotta finish the series, it all makes sense then. Well, sort of, but not really. Come back when you do.

I watched 4 DVD's of this when I worked at a video store and it didn't make a bit of sense or really stick with me.

Ok, I have officially finished it now. It does make more sense to me. It was kid of a let-down ending. I was hoping she would re-write everyone's memories as happy ones, with her included.

The style of it was quite creepy. It was like a bad dream from the Matrix. Some things I still don't get...

- Why was the sister catatonic by the middle of the series??
- Did everyone but Lain + kids have a time-warp because of the re-writing?? (Reason I say this is because of Lain's friend's "student teaching" job where she met her dreamy teacher-friend.)
- Who the crap WERE those guys with the LED light on their forehead?? I know they worked for someone, but I didn't make the connection.

I don't think I've put in any "spoilers" per se, since everything was confusing as it was

All and all, series = 5/10 Time for Gunslinger girls!!!!
