Do you think there is gotta be Wild ARMS 6?????

I think it all depends on how well recieved Wild Arms V was. From what I hear, it is a better game than WA 4 (which I never played) so hopefully that might count for something.
But honestly, even though I really liked Wild Arms V, I think they could have done a lot more with the script. It seems the wanted to keep it a bit childish and cheesy, as it common for Wild Arms. But the audience hgas grown up. It's no longer 1996, and I really think Wild Arms should try to step it up a notch and not make the exact same story again for the sixth time in a row. The gameplay has evolved, so I think the story (or perhaps the directing of the script) should as well.

Wild arms 1, 2, and 3 were all much more mature than 4 and 5.

I recall a girl dropping an minigun from under her skirt and defeating the main villain, the lord of the demons, with it in WA3. That did it for me.

I think you're a good guy and that guy over there is bad, btw what does it mean to be an adult?

What would make you doubt there would not be a Wild ARMs 6?

I don't have problem with the new battle system, although they should put more unique abilities for certain characters, but the story and the more believable conversations between characters need an upgrade. Wild Arms V was definitively better then the fourth one but I still find the first one better then the rest. Blasting your hand is certainly not common in the RPGs. If they keep shrinking towns and make only one controllable character through the whole game will lead them nowhere.

Eh, I enjoyed Wild Arms V's lighthearted storyline, colourful cast and awesome gameplay. Of course, it was the first WA title that I actually played seriously.
It's rare for a game to be able to hold my interests from start to end, so WA5 gets even more credits for that.
If anything, I'd like to see a darker storyline. There's plenty of potential in the rather unique wild west setting, so why not spice up a bit in a new direction? A more mature lead (like Greg

) would be most desirable, too.

I thought that was cool

maybe I'm weird....
I actually have WA V on my "to-do" list. Should I play it, or not bother?? I feel it will be a similar experience to playing Tales of Symphonia then playing Tales of the Abyss WRT gameplay and graphics.
I have only played WA 3. I liked it a lot. I enjoyed the cell-shaded graphics and storyline. A heroine for "the" main protagonist was cool too. What would I like changed?? I would have to agree with Nash in saying that I would prefer a darker storyline (not like super-creepy/goth-like) but have nastier villans and such. Also, a few nuked-towns would be nice.

WA3 reminds me of a saturday morning cartoon.
I'm sure it'll happen. With the way they're pumping out RPG's now and with XF and 5 I believe we'll see a 6th at some point. Hopefully on a next generation console.

6 will happen eventually.
and i agree, the story tones should be more mature...
WA3's story was still a bit mature but Virgina's ambitiousness lessened it.
WA4's story was pitiful. if you could call it a story.
WA5 story (though, i haven't finished the game yet) was good.
right now, XF's stroy is pretty mature...

If Wild Arms was able to bounce back after the 4th one, I'm pretty sure they'll go about making a sixth. They've pretty much nailed a good mechanic, they just need for the motions of the game to appeal to a more intelligent audience.
In my opinion, if they mixed Wild Arms 5 gameplay with Wild Arms 3 character development/customization, they'd have a jewel. Of course they would have to put more effort into the voice acting as well.

The characters in WA3 are all laughable sterotypes.
Like I said totally out of a kids saturday morning cartoon. I could care less about any of them. They could at least be entertaining.

I would hope their is a Wild Arms 5. I can personally say, I haven't "loved" a story since Wild Arms 2. Wild Arms 3 seem reused, 4 full of holes and it seemed so narrowly scoped. The first two actually had some serious emotions in them, the past few seem stale. So for Wild Arms 6, let's get serious on this story. I want some tear-jerkin, fire raging, stomach turning action here. =P
I can say, I have put Wild Arms 5 to the side and haven't picked it back up, though I need to. I'm in one of those places where I need to do some level grinding, which is what drives me crazy in RPG's. I can say, I have fought every battle, and I'm still not strong enough to beat the basic enemies in the area.

Though this will get finished eventually.
-Yes, I'm still alive. =D-

u know... i really hope so.. i've been playing the wild arms series since i was 10 and i love it. however, i really don't like how they drastically changed it from the first one. the hexagon fighting system is lame.
as for wild arms 5, im still playing it now. pretty far. LOVE the plot. the opening was horrible because it wasn't cartoon animated and i think that really killed it for me. and i think i saw other characters from the older games in it too. like rudy and cecille? are u serious??? so i was lost there n didnt like that..
ya other than that, i hope wild arms 6 does come out and impresses me more. the first one was beautiful!!
i needed somewhere to complain

The game is full of cameos from old characters, and you can even find several cameo outfits for your characters to wear.

hah i loved the cameos. at first i didnt realize that it was done on purpose, I was almost like.. "Damn that dude looks like Gallows". but after a while it only made sense that they were cameos. easter eggs like that are always fun and always make a game more enjoyable.
