According to the latest issue of EGM, Microsoft Game Studios and Bungie are working on a LEGO Halo game for the Xbox 360. According to the article in EGM, LEGO Halo will have you play through all three games in the Halo trilogy. The game will be hitting stores this Fall.
So why did Bungie decide to make a Halo Lego Game? According to a quote in the the latest issue of EGM, Lee Carlton explains why, “We really feel like the Halo trilogy is as strong as Star Wars” he goes on to say “that’s why we’re excited to take our rich universe and present it in a way everyone can enjoy”.
The article states for a Fall 2008 release date.

LEGO Halo is a April Fools joke by EGM. They even admitted it in a news article they posted on 1up.com.

Shame this wasn't true. The LEGO star wars games are freakin hilarious, I would have bought LEGO Halo XD

I actually wouldn’t have minded this either, haha...I’ve played the Lego Star Wars games on the GC, and they’re actually pretty entertaining. Oh well. Not sure how well I would’ve really liked a Halo version anyway, had this been true. I’ll stick with my Star Wars for now. >.o.
