QUOTE (Kotaku)

Word on the street is that English adaptations of two volumes of Zelda, written by Akira Himekawa, the pen name for two writers who wrote half a dozen Zelda manga. The books trace the Ocarina of Time story line. Release date is October 7th, 2008, and it will be published by Viz Media. Better late than never, no?

Sounds good. I'll have to look into this. Which reminds me, I still need to get the Suikoden 3 manga.
Markies
I'd definetly think about picking that up. I also thought about picking up the Suikoden series ones. I couldn't really decide on which ones I wanted to purchase, but they all looked really interesting.

My friend almost bought me one for my birthday, but he was in the same predicament. He didn't know where to start or which one I would like the best, so he just passed.

I'm not big into Magna, but the Zelda and the Suikoden look like a good place to start.

I think the only manga I’ve somewhat looked at was a Neon Genesis Evangelion one. They’re mighty expensive, so I haven’t really gotten into manga much. But, like Markies, I actually have been interested in getting the Suikoden ones, even if I’m not heavy on manga otherwise. Most likely I’ll check these out at some point, assuming I have the appropriate funds.

Already saw these mangas at a bookstore I go to in Lil' Tokyo, I was interested at first then I saw Gundam the Origin in a complete box set. Too bad I didn't get the box set though.

They might have these downtown in a china store in New York or Seattle, but otherwise you can just order it online from any japanese stores. I'm pretty sure that it will be called Densetsu no Jikan.

Crap. Manga = expensive for white boys....

And I had no idea there was Zelda manga, shameful on my part, most definately.

It sounds interesting, I wants to take a look, for sure.

ahhh that's so awesome
I was just thinking yesterday that they should make an anime/movie about OOT, 'cause me and my friend were reminiscing about the game

this is GOOD NEWS!
Vex Core
You're just now hearing about this? It's been out like forever. Already read it, too. It does a well enough job covering lots of stuff you do in the game. Like the fight against Dark Link, who actually is like some kind of villain.

I already read is translated on the interweb, but I am SO going to pick up a copy of it so I can own it.

There is an A Link to the Past manga thats REALLY good though too, and different from the game, but still awesome. Has a side character named Ganty who rocks.

Theres also a Majora's Mask one as well, but I don't remember too much of it.
Remi Hito
I never knew that there was a Zelda manga. I'll have to read it when it comes out.

There is also the Oracle of Seasons, Oracle of ages and the Minish Cap Manga's too. I'll try and pick some of these up if I ever get the chance.

Or you could just read it for free here:

Ohhhhh. I got that. I read a little bit of the beggining. Then i started working on dere ga gakkou to naku. I really like the art Style. I want to get the other zelda mangas. I saw the majora mask one when I got the first volume for Ocarina of Time. However I decided to only get Ocarina of Time.
This is one of those mangas that I really want to come to America but I doubt it ever will.

I managed to read the Ocarina of Time, Majora's Mask and Trifoce of the Gods(Link to the Past) ones, and they are awesome. Ocarina of Time was the far better one out of the three though. They all stay close to the storys from the games but also add their own bits which works well.
