eveyone has a speacial moment were they just die while they feel invincible. whats yours?
Dragon Brigade
I actually don’t think I’ve had one of those moments in KH. Most of the battles are pretty easy, so if I lose it’s because I’m just flat out incompetent, haha (not really, but since I admit I’m bad at video games in general, that’s one of the usual reasons). Usually my, “...Did I just...die?” moments are pretty much when I walk into a room and die seconds later. And that, actually, has happened mostly with FFXII at the moment, and not KH. I really don’t know moments in KH that I’ve gone through that.

This might have been a better question for gaming in general. Personally, I thought most of the bosses (even if I didn’t beat them the first time I faced them) for KH were, in general, pretty easy. I dunno. *shrugs*.

hmm... true but still special bosses like ice titan and sephy will kill you the first time around unless youre a master that is. wink.gif

When I got owned by Sephiroth the first time I fought him...
Dragon Brigade
Oh, yeah, I had forgotten about Sephiroth. I could evade him for forever if I wanted to in the first game (didn’t bother to fight him in the second), but I didn’t have the proper equipment to defeat him, so I just let myself die. Though now you mention it, yeah, I did die right away when I fought him (the first time ever, and in maybe one hit from Sephiroth).

So yes, I stand corrected from my earlier statement. =).

Never had one of those moments before...Sure, Septhiroth kicked my ass the first time around, but I was expecting it to happen, he IS Septhiroth.

Apart from that...The only battles I've ever hated are Ursula, because you have to do that stupid swimming thing. To be perfectly honest, Ice Titan was a joke.

Ice Titan was a bit to easy. The One monster that gave me the "did i just die?" feeling was the Phantom at Neverland.
Took me some time to understand what was happening and all of a sudden, the continue screen popped up.

That whole Undersea world in KH2 bugged the ever living CRAP out of me. Definately appealing to the younger gamers for that one...

I think KH3 could do without that concept for an entire level. It was like a step down from Hanna Montana Karaoke Revolution or High School Musical DDR... groan.
king of sin
true, im looking forward to less gay levels.

That was where you had to perform that stupid musical thing to beat the level yes? How I loathed doing that...I did love the Lion King level though.

I've only experianced this feeling twice, one being my own fault.
The first time was the first time I fought the Ice Titan, casting Aeroaga and getting outright owned after. I did some research after and since then, I have yet to die fighting him.

The only other time I really felt like this is when I was fighting in Agrabah in KH2. I got attacked by 2-3 Fiery large bodies and some random neoshadows. Apparently, neoshadows know how to juggle, extremely well. I got hit up into the air and comboed by every neoshadow and I got blasted by all 3 of the fiery large bodies immediatly afterward.
(I was only about lvl 30 on Proud mode, going through it the second time. So not only was I underlevel, if I got comboed at all I'd be in danger...

Sephy wasn't a big, "oh my god I'm dead." moment for me. The first time I fought him in KH1 I didn't do half bad, I just didn't know all of his attack patterns and I got blasted with his Soul Harvest and I couldn't recover in time... His initial attacks did get blocked off of luck, I have to admit, but as time went on I didn't have too hard of a time dodging his physical attacks. He still killed me at least 5-10 times before I finally got him...

In KH2, the physical attacks were similar to the first and so I was able to dodge the majority of them. Due to there being a reaction command for his nasty ass attack, I usually blocked it, but I have been caught in the air when he used it and I got pummeled and immediatly comboed after...but I was expecting death when I got hit with it in the air, so it wasn't a, "wtf, I died?" moment.
