I haven't been practicing very much... But I have been reading up on afew tricks, So I'm hoping this one is better then the last few I've done.

The avatar I also did, But I didn't have to try very hard on it, Just resized and added colors.
Dragon Brigade
The dew drop effect you have on the sig (along with the lighting in the corner) is really nice. I’m not sure I like how you just duplicated the stock and put it on different backgrounds (I did that on a sig once, but I didn’t like it too much...). Maybe you could have just put the stock in the red or black color instead of both; that would give it more of a feel as being something of a reflection through water. It sort of cancels out the water effect you put on otherwise, if that makes sense...

I don’t really know what else to say. I really do like it overall, I’m just not a fan of the cloning. Good work on the sig + avatar though. Keep it up. =).
Child Proof
I'm not to sure how that will effect the overall picture, Removing the Red Stock to the left, But I might mess with it alittle, just to see what else I can pull off.

Thanks for your thoughts though~
Voyou San
i must be missing the water effect, i am getting old.

its not bad, the text is pretty standard but still good and the effects are ok. Dont really care for the images and how they are done.. not sure they red effect distinguishes them enough.
Dragon Brigade
@Voyou: I was referring to the right side of the sig; you look at the figure (and the lighting), and you can see a sort of wrinkle? It actually blends in with the stock (not sure if it *is* the stock, actually...), but it continues on, and makes it look like when you throw a rock in water.

I dunno. Maybe I’m just seeing things again. I seem to do that a lot with people’s sigs...
Red_ryaN
I like it, I think it looks really good.
how long have you been using PS? (sorry if I missed it, if you already mentioned it)

how long have you been using PS?

I'd say afew months on and off, That is around my 6th real try at making a sig, If you look hard enough, you should be able to find my past ones(Which I've posted on these forums)

But it hasn't been too long.

--EDIT--

I removed the Stock on the left side, as Dragon Brigade said might look better, And here is how it turned out...

I left the red coloring I placed around the stock, Which kind of adds a bloody watery look to it, Plus the "Dew drop" reflection looking thing makes it look decent....

Plus you can now tell there is a moon in the background, Which is kind of neat if you think about it.
Voyou San
well now i think you need something, mabye an added effect or some cool brushing done on that left side of the sig, or mabye you could extend the red color to different parts of the whole sig so it seems more even.

and DB, i see what you are saying now.. smile.gif
Dragon Brigade
It definitely looks better (in my opinion) as it’s less crowded. Though, I do agree with Voyou on maybe adding some sort of effect there to the left, just so it doesn’t get too plain. I really like it though. Good work. =).
Lonoken
yes i agree with everyone else on this whole matter and too try and find some sory of "thing" that can be placed to fill in the giant gap. Just seems like theres no reason for it and you got lazy
Child Proof
I've personaly thought maybe adding some text, Maybe a quote or something, assuming I find a decent font. or maybe a decent brush to fit the whole "mood" of the image
Dragon Brigade
Well, to add my my two cents (whether it means much is up to you, haha. =).), I think adding a small quote would fill it in nicely. You could still just do both; quote + brush effect (or other effect). I dunno. Just thought I’d mention that I do think just adding some sort of quote would make it seem less empty on that left side.
Child Proof
I might mess with it alittle more tomorrow when I have more time... We'll see where it goes, I'll post what I come up with.
Dr Whippy
I like the new sig, simple but perty.

The avi is kinda blurry or something, not as higher res as I may like, but never the less the set is good, nice work.
