but you goto your area, and you post ads like ebay, but since it's local, you meet up with the person and get the cash right there and then

I don't know what local game stores you have near you, but you could always try one of them...Not sure they'll give you a lot, but if you really want to get rid of the xBox (and didn't care too much about money, as long as it was..."enough"), you could just do that...

I'll give you 2 American dollars. I think that's about what you'd get selling or trading it for credit at any store. The PS2 and original Box don't really sell for anything anymore.

I think you're honestly better off hanging on to it. Maybe use it as a doorstop.

I went to Play-N-Trade and their "store policy" was such that they could not buy back opened systems. that was my problem.

You know I was gonna say try Gamestop but I remember that they don't take X-Box's anymore. I dunno where you'd unload it dude outside of Ebay or a local chain that deals in older consoles/games. We have one here fortunately.
