So I was thinking to myself about my current KH2 file and I thought, "I wonder how long it'll take me to finish the journal on proud mode?"
I only completed the journal once and it was with my Normal game, so I imagine this time around, the Coloseum is going to be far more difficult.

So I was wondering who here went out of their way to complete all of the minigames and went through the absolute torture of doing all of the Little Mermaid songs, again, to complete the journal?

Or perhaps are there people who have even completed all of the Gummi Ship missions, as well as retrieved all of the treasures?

I never did it personally. I completed the journal in the first game, but in the second some of the things didn't take to my interests. Granted, the first was in the first game, but I did it anyway. But the the second, I wasn't fond of some things, like the Gummi ships, and after a while I gave up on trudging through it, because I really didn't like it, and didn't think the effort was really wort it in the end.

I have to agree that it really wasn't worth it...
You recieved the extra ending video for simply completing all of the worlds and beating the game on Proud mode, which is far easier than completing everything for the Journal on Normal.
And you outright couldn't get it on Easy.

I did it for fun/records sake, so yeah...

The Gummi ships weren't required for the journal at all, actually. That's why I made that gummi ship a seperate question.

I didn’t do much of anything for the journal. In the first KH, I only really did some of the puppy hunting, but I don’t think I got them all (only needed a couple more, I think, but then I decided I needed something new to do in the game and went against the final boss and won...So I thus decided I was done searching for the Dalmatians, haha...).

So yeah, I never bothered with the journal, really. I might in my next run through though, but I doubt I’d do much more in either of the games...

Well, my mistake with the gummi ships should show how much the journal in the second game annoyed me then, I can't quite remember what was and wasn't included.

The gummi ships on Proud were too tedious in my opinion. But I completed everything else, for the sake of bragging rights. It was fun torturing them with brags, for like a month.

And the Little Mermaid mini-games weren't THAT bad. It's actually quite easy to fill the Journal requirements.

The only "hard" journal requirements were the tournaments. Doing the Paradox Hades on Proud is terrible... '

I completed the Journal in KH1 & KH2 once. I will never do that ever again. I never did the Gummi ships missions cause it isn't require to complete the Journal.
