Well, this is a disturbing item that popped up all over Europe since last weekend.
It is a very disturbing story and these are things that should never happen to anyone.

Anyway, I guess that everyone is going to react in the same manner about how sick this was. (Rightly so.) I just have to wonder how it must of felt for three children that were living with her their entire life to finally see the light of day for the first time. That is just an unexplainable experience.

Personally it makes me wonder how much more of such horror stories are taking place right now across the world. You keep hearing about these types of things. There must be more people who are in such dire situations. Makes you shiver about how easy it seems to be to do that to someone.

I've hear all about it and I'm absolutely stunned that it was technically possible to lock someone up for 24 years. Some people are very sick in their mind.

Also let's be real here, the police says that the wife of the man never knew what was going on. But how is that possible, would you believe your husband if he brought 3 kids home and said they're orphans? That's incredibly naive, I think the woman did know about everything and so she must be guilty.

Events like these make me encourage the death penalty again.

I read about it in the paper on my way home from school a few days ago. The story really disgusts and angers me. Because of her bad mental and physical shape, she has aged prematurely and has whitened hair. I can't really find the right words to describe my feelings about this. It's shocking.

We spent most of German actually talking about this today, since my teacher is Austrian. I can't believe that it lasted 24 years and what a horrible man that is, I mean it would be wrong to do that to anyone but his own daughter, Monster.

And his wife claims to have not known all those years, right. It's absolutely disgusting, and I'm sure he'll be killed in prison.

Why? Do you think it is fair to give this guy the death penalty, after abusing his daughter for 24 years?
Seriously, the death penalty is the easy way out.

And for those who still wonder about the wife not knowing. It explains a bit on why she didn't know in the first link.
However, not knowing this for 24 years and a number locked plate, blocking anyone from going in, apart from the guy sounds a bit dodgy.

It sounds like the wife was as much a victim of his abuse as his children and (grand)children were. Apparently he had his daughter write some sort of letter saying that she was in a cult now and that the kids were her kids that she deposited at her parents' doorstep. That's also how they got custody, I believe.

His sister-in-law gave a big interview. I read a piece of it on a German site.

This is horrible and shocking. Unsurprisingly Disturbing also. I mean.... 24 years!

Not to forget. Burning off a baby just like this.. Ughh......

THAT'S A ##### CHILLING THOUGHT INDEED. I read a lot of true crime novels and you'd ##### hurl at some of the ##### people are doing everyday.

Twenty-four years is a long time to keep a victim. I know from reading that most captive slaves have escaped, been rescued or have been killed outta the captor's boredem before ten years have passed. I don't know what it is about sex criminals in other countries --- but they are MUCH MORE SADISTIC AND BRUTAL to induvidual victims on the long term than Americans. The most outrageous slave case I've read about in the states was that Coleen Stanton 7-year sex-slave stint.

Maybe it's just easier to conceal crimes in other countries where the crime rate is much more laxed and enforcement is down.

Yeah, the article says that the wife was unaware and assumed the daughter had ran away, but I'm NOT BUYING IT. There is no sane, rational, loving mother in the world that would accept their young daughter 'just running away'. I think this woman was in it with him and aided him in his perversions. It's not uncommon for unconfident women to be manipulated into bizarre sex fantasy with partners.

It still surprises me the depths to which humanity can plunge, really how can people go so damn wrong. That's still taking into the fact that yes this could indeed be fixed.
I can't decide which is more likely, there's a lotta effort been put into that dungeon just by the look of the pictures, but then people who want attention by the media have been known to go to more effort. In summary if it's true, it's sick and the guy should be left to rot in a cell for the rest of his miserable life, death is too easy of a way out for him. If it's a set up, they should ALL be thrown in a cell and left to rot, just because their sick minds are something we don't need in this ever degrading world of ours.

I could care less about what happens to that man, as long as it's violently unpleasant. And the wife.. whether she was involved or not, I assume that she will be suffering as well. I'm curious as to what will happen with the daughter and her children... There's not much anyone can do to erase that can kind of abuse and trauma... Ugh how can one person screw with so many lives like that? His own family? Just so unbelievably unbelievable
