Dalren walked up the small path to what was left of the old abandoned orphanage. He looked around at it very curiously. Having an eery feeling about the whole thing, he opened the door and entered. He was alone at the time, and he saw no one else around. Digging around, he soon found an old chest. He opened it slowly.
"What the!!" He yelped as a bat flew out of it, obviously having been trapped recently. Pulling out a bunch of old papers, he began to search for a letter his grandparents had told him they hid there. He found it. Pulling it out, he read it to himself.
When he was finished reading he began to leave with a plan to find the others who were born of the old orphanage. As he did, his memory flashed back to old stories his grandparents would tell him about the place, and its owner. But then he heard the some one walking in, he immidiately froze. Then, gathering himself, he hid under oen of the beds. A young boy walked in with a strange drape dragging a few others on it. Most of them looked rather beat up. The boy then began to palce them on their beds, and when he was finished he left. Not long after, Dalren heard something on the roof. Climbing out from under the bed, he climbed to the roof and began to walk towards the boy, catching him slightly by surprise with a sudden "Hello."

The old shingles of the abandoned orphanage began to shake behind Paul. He thought it was only a breeze until someone spoke out, "Hello" a kids voice called out to him. It wasn't one of his friends or he would have recognized the voice.
"Friend or foe.." Paul said, the sound of defeat in his voice. Before he could answer, Paul turned around, stood up and stared at him.
He doesn't look like a warrior..
"Before you answer.." Paul said raising his hand, making a fist, "choose your words wisely as I will protect my friends and this place at any cost.." pebbles twirled around his fist "..even if I must take your life."

Watching the rocks spin around his palm, Dalren shook his head. "Violence is not always the answer, only when your foe resigns to violence, and has no reasoning skills, is it necessary," he said with a smirk. "Then the rest of it is just for fun. But no need to fret, I am a freind, that is simple, is it not."
Dalren took the form of a somewhat big cat, almost like a bob cat, one of the three forms he has mastered so far, though he does know many others. He walked up to the young man, obviously a little older than Dalren himself, and sat next to him. "Sorry, easier to balance like this, not showing off, my human form just lacks coordination."

The kid answered friend, so he got to live and then changed into a giant cat form.
"Hmm, a Druid I see."
They sat together on the roof starring at the night sky..
"I guess I should introduce myself.. My names Paul, or thats what I like to be called." They boy, or 'cat' gave him a weird look. "I know what your thinking, and I don't know my real name myself, so I went with the first name I heard and remembered.. so it was Paul." They had an eerie silence for a little while. "This place means a lot to me, I grew up here, or at least, this is where I live. As did my grandparents. according to some weird story this bum told me."
His friends started to move around, they probably were awake.
"..Paul..?" They called out as if he was there mother, "Paul..?" they continued.
"##### guys! you think hes dead?!!!"
"It can't be.. how did we get here then?"
"Well yea, but if he was alive, how did he manage to get all of us here.."
There questions became more complex and irrational as time progressed.
"Maybe Paul was killed in the heat of battle and we were taken here by a swarm of rebel pixies who have followed after what we do, as if idolizing us.."
Paul began to laugh, his friends were too much, and on top of that.. he was serious about those pixies. He needed to go see his friends before they started fighting with eachother on who was more right. Paul carefully moved a few tiles on the roof which lead straight down into the bunk area. He jumped down and landed with a thud along with a giant dust cloud.
"..Paul!" one called out, "You're alive!" He nodded at him.. "Yes, I'm alive and not eaten by man sized cytoplasm."
"How did u get us all here then..?"
"With some help of course." He answered, "Oh, and we have a new friend uptop." He said pointing up, "It's a Druid who can properly transform." He said those two words with more emphasis for some of his Druid pals could not fully transform.

Over hearing the conversation, Dalren took on the form of a humming bird. He flew down into the room, and began to fly around the room obnoxiously. He flew close to the other kids heads, almost got smacked by one of them, and then landed next to Paul in a human shape. The kids looked at him stunned by the show. "That time," he whispered to Paul, "I was showing off."
He looked around the room. the kids in the room all appeared dirty, bruised, and altogether, pretty much just beat up. Dalren overheard one of them saying something, and he did not hesitate to approach the young man. "Do you think he could teach me to do that? If I could that, those warriors wouldn't stand a chance." The young man whispered to his other small friend.
"Who was causing trouble for you?" Dalren asked quickly.
"The warriors that live near us."
Dalren looked at the boy, "Can you talk to animals yet?" he asked.
"Yes."
"Why not ask them for help than, I am sure they would be more than happy to help you the next time you run into trouble." With that Dalren returned to were he landed by Paul. "My name is Dalren, a schooled Druid. I fight almost as well as my Monk master, and I cast almost as well as Druid guardian. I have run from home however, on a quest. That quest has brought me here. The rest of it is personal."
As Dalren said this he heard strange music being played outside. It didn't take him long to notice that the circus was in town, and what happened next, he will never forget. As he went outside he saw his twin sister Windstroke, as she was called, walking out of one of the tents. He took off in a sprint, the children followed himquickly. When he reached her, she looked absolutely stunned, she too, apparently never thought she would see her brother again. ((It is kind of hard not to recognize someone that looks alomst identical to you.))
