does any1 know anything about KH3? heres the cover i think this is the official cover anyways comments?

i really have heard nothing about this game.. here is all i could find when searching for stories..

The cover is a fake.

KH3 has yet to exist. Nomura continually releases statements concerning it, as well as the 3 new games coming out, but development of KH3 hasn't been made public. It very well may be in development, but nothing has been heard yet.

I just have something to add to that last statement you brought in. Earlier when KH2 was still in development, Nomura made a comment along the lines of, "if it has the title 'kingdom hearts', it's going to be about Sora." So the idea of it being a new series is that it will most likely have references and foreshadowing of Sora, but he will not be the main character.

Yeah, that box art was made by finalfantaseer as it says in the black on the bottom (in the “reflection”), and it was made way back in the early months of 2007. Until Square has actually confirmed anything as far as cover art/release dates, I wouldn’t pay attention to some of these things. =).

Yeah Kingdom Hearts 3 won't be out for a WHILEEEE now. And it won't be released under that name, they're coming up with a different name for hte series I guess. IT won't be out tilll the 3 side-games come out.

I'm not sure if there have been many more updates on them, as this topic was from late last year (though still recent enough, and actually the most recent one on them here, if I'm correct). But that will give you the general gist of things about them. =).

I doubt they are going to make a third one. Now, a movie of this, that would be cool.

It's just a matter of when, and the only thing I know is that it won't be any time soon.

??? The 3rd one is like, basically in the works (In Nomura's head). He already knows what he wants to do with it, and has onfirmed that it will come out sometime in the future after the release of the next 3 games.

Well, I just hope they don't say it won't come out and that it was just something to get our hopes up.

But seriously, a movie of this would be awesome!

A movie wouldn't be too bad, so long as there's lots of awesome keyblade action. Kind of like the scenes from AC, that type of fighting would be great to watch.

If it was a movie like the Hidden Ending of the Final Mix with the epic battle, then yes, I'd love a movie. I never get tired of watching that video.

There are so many of those things out there that I learned a few tricks: besides the basic -- check information on gaming sites or Wikipedia --, look throghly, see anything familiar, see too much thing s familiar and little thing new, it means that's a montage with the current existing games and stuff, then. For instance, Sora, Kairi and Riku are identical to KHII, Riku's even still using his blindfold, that he defenitly (I think) put's behind once he's no longer part of the Dark Realm.

And the 3 "Kamen Riders" on the bottom, same scene from the trailer.

Title logo isn't much different fom KHII's either...


But, sure, there will be a IIIrd, unfortunely with Nomura-Sama and most of Square-Enix down to their necks on Fabula Nova Cristalis project, I don't think KHIII will be out anytime soon. Actually, I'd say it's probably gonna be around 5 to 6 years! T_T
Don't hate me! I was just reasoning: the games are getting bigger and harder to make, demanding more time and money than Hollywood blockbuster! (Of course they make a LOT MORE MONEY too!) XD
FFXIII have been on development for how long now? Feels like an ETERNITY! And if you ask me, they've showed NOTHING!! FMV doesn't count, it's just movie, not a game, If I want that I go to a cinema!

So, for KHIII we have to wait the release of FFXIII (I doubt it'll come out before 2010!) and then more 3 to 4 years for KHIII. Even if -- GOD FORBID!! -- they rush and make a crappy game, it'd still would take at least 2 years.


Now a KH movie, that's for certain! Disney/Buena Vista will most likely push for it sooner or later. No surprise there, they are MOVIE companies after all.
Now if it'll be a good movie, that I cannot predict...

First of all, just to clarify one thing for those who do not know...

THERE IS ABSOLUTELY NO CONFIRMATION OF KH3 AT THIS POINT IN TIME, NOR IS THERE EVEN A SHRED OF TRUE FACT!

Due to the final events of KH2, it is quite clear that a third one will be created, though how and when is something that has not been openly talked with to the public. We'll just have to wait and see. If we're lucky, if it's even in development (which, unfortunately, I highly doubt due to the great amount of time they've been spending on these three games), we should hear something about it in the upcoming TGS.

A movie... I don't know about that. In our North American culture, I'm just not sure it would sell to the masses. Sure, it'll sell to any true Disney, FF, and KH fans, possibly some people who have no idea what it's about, but really, other than that how else will profits be made? I don't think it would be theater material in N.A., strictly DVD. I'm sure it would be perfect for Japan, just not here.

I think it would be best to port it strait to DVD like Final Fantasy Advent Children did. Trying to get it sold in the movies would be a little tough, but I think a straight DVD release would sell to those who want it, and it would be cheaper in the long run (no actual proof of aforementioned tidbit, just a guess)

But it'll probably be a while before it comes out. Also a good way to tell if a cover is fake is if they re use old stock from the previous game.
