anyone played this on gamecube? Im collecting the small collection of RPGs for the Gamecube, i was pleasantly surprised with this one especially since it only ran me 4.99!

I’ve actually never heard of it before. What’s the general gist of the story?

well its called Lost Kingdoms in the U.S. and Rune in japan, theres a part one and two of each. The story pretty much sucks, its super weak and feels like a cheap SNES rpg the fun in the game lies in the battling and evolution of cards with exp. The controls are real time and you have 4 random cards at your disposal that you can use untill its usage count runs out and you get another random card from your deck, the cards consist of attacks, magic spells, healing spells, even summons where the creature you summon actually fights along side you.

Oh, so it’s sort of one of those card-based games? I’ve never really been up with those, but then again, I haven’t really played many, haha...It’s discouraging that the story isn’t too hot, as that’s mostly what I look for in a game. But, I suppose as long as the game-play itself is fun, I might pick this up if I can find it in a bargain bin somewhere for a decent price.
