You know... Even after playing so long. I still don't get castle's Bath house and what it does. in SII.

Yeah, seriously. What is does? Also, if there if there is something useful. Do you get something else extra when you bath while being toasty?

I've used them maybe twice. I am guessing right now, but I always assumed that you it was like another way of going to sleep. Meaning, you heal all of your characters and restore there magic.

That or you get something for staying in them a certain amount of times in one of the games.

But, I hardly ever used them. After playing Lunar, I was a bit disappointed in the bathouse scense.

If you stay in the bath long enough, your whole party gets the Toasty status for a while, which gradually heals them each turn in battles. (Forget if it heals on the world map, too, or not.) There are also some special scenes you can unlock by bringing different groups of people to the bath (these scenes also depend on which version of the bath you enter). You can also decorate your bath with ornaments, dolls, statues, and paintings, and certain combinations of these will unlock additional scenes/decorations.

More or less, it's just an extra, with not much significance, but if you want want a free Toasty status on your whole party for a while, or just want to see these extra scenes, this is where to go.

There are two scenes with Flik and Viktor in the Suikoden II bath... some might say that the images are rather shocking..... though for the Flik x Viktor x Riou yaoi fans and people like Dookie and Xerno, in other words gay, might like it x'D.
