Something I've ALWAYS wondered. Watch the Suikoden 3 Intro video at the very end where the pan to shots of Lucia, Albert, Nash, and Geddoe.
When it flashes to Geddoe he's holding out his sword. Look at the sword, there's a face in it.
Who's face? And why?
Get to work

I don't know the reason, but isn't it Queen's?

to me it looks like Queen, which I find REALLY odd because I don't remember Geddoe having anything romantic for her, not to mention she has very little impact on the game

What are you aiming at? As far as I am concerned, Konami always wants to put as many SoDs in the intro as possible in a fashionable way.

Yeha well if they wanted to put Queen in they already did, she has her own clip of her spinning and killing monsters. And even if they wanted to just put her in with Geddoe, they coulda made her stand behind him.
It just seems cryptic or hinting at something that somebody's face glitters in his blade.

i actually never noticed it until you said something, which is wierd cause ive seen that intro a crap load of times (one of my all time favorite game intros, right up there with Tales of the Abyss)

It's Queen.
They had the same gimmick in Suikoden V as well, with the Nether Gate's blade and Miakis' face reflected on it. I do think that they are meant to hint at close relationship between characters that can affect their battles, but I doubt it's supposed to be romantic.
In the case of Geddoe and Queen, maybe it's more of their camaraderie or something?

WHy Queen tho?? That's just what I find interesting, unless Queen has some other role in future Suikodens. I mean if you wanna talk about Geddoe's comraderie with someone special who's shared battles with him why not the Flame Champion's Face? Or Jimba's? Or Ace's? Or Jokers? Or Jacques? Know what I mean?
Some may consider it nitpicking, but I doubt Konami went out of their way to put a face in someone's blade if there wasn't some idea behind it that spurred them to do so.
EDIT: And I just looked at what you were talking about in the Suikoden 5 video, I think the context is a little different though... It's Lymsleia all crying and helpless when the Nether Gate members approach her, and as they swing their blades at her we see Miakis reflection sudden come into the blades... I think it's because Miakis jumped in front of Lymsleia to protect her from them.... Not becuase her face was some still shot like Geddoe's.

Well wasn't Geddoe a soldier at one point? Maybe the Queen represents like a look at his past loyalities...maybe...
I haven't played the game in a while so I could very well be wrong.
