I dunno, old stuff but it's not like another topic could hurt. I downloaded Ninja Gaiden Black yesterday and I've been playing #### out of it, loving the gameplay and the decent amount of over-all challenge (mostly to prepare for NG2, but yeah). Originally, I assumed the games would run like crap on 360, but I'm surprised at how smooth a DL'able full game plays. So I'm likely to download more in the future, especially given that I never owned an original Xbox, and there were at least a few games worth checking out (for $10, at least). Probably not more than 3-5, but still a few.

Anyway, anyone else downloaded any? Any games you'd like to see up for DL in the future?

Most of the Xbox Originals for download can usually be found at a local used game store for cheaper than the DLC price ( I thought they were 1200 MS points - $15). My biggest issue is that my HD is the 20 gig version and I currently only have 5 gigs left (1 demo - Operation Darkness- , a handful of XBLA games, and game saves on the drive). Some of those games are 3-4 gigs so having them on disc works out better in my case. Ninja Gaiden Black is an awesome game.

I havent touched the originals at all, I just dont find alot of the games worth downloading and what not. I own most of them for the original xbox so I can just plug that in and fire it up!

You might be right on the pricing. I can't remember what I paid to DL NGB. And I feel your pain on the space issue... Even though I have an Elite, I haven't transfered all my files to my 120GB drive yet, so I'm still using the 20 gig. NGB is almost 6GB alone, so I had some deleting to do. XD

But on the subject of the actual game discs... Yeah, the pricing's better, but Fable and Halo 2 were really glitchy when I tried them on 360. They were freezing up or having other issues at least once per play, and it was kinda pissing me off. That's why I noted that I was surprised to play NGB flawlessly, and I'm thinking maybe the DLC plays better than the actual discs. Of course, I can't say if the problem was my old 360 (using an Elite now), or if the problems were just with those 2 games. Either way, until I test an original Xbox disc in my current 360, I'm gonna go on assuming the DLC are a little more optimized for better play.
