Some movie I thought would be about werewolves because yahoo movies lied to me. It wasn't. It was about some kids pretending to be ninjas and stabbing some random couple, actually "Will you marry me?" "No." "Okay. Let's go to my house anyway." "Okay." and then blah blah blah several cheap scares later, the best actor in the movie, Glenn Howerton, gets killed two minutes of screen time, and the killers that we never get to see. "Based on true events" but "every character and entity is fictional, any resemblance to actual events and people, living or dead, is accidental." There is like 7 actors in the whole movie, 3 with more than three lines. Lots of screaming, but not a lot of gore, and no tits and only one or two instances of "#####!"

Overall, hilarious.
10/10
The Evil Dead
Yeah looked like a pile of #####.

No surprises.

I just saw it today, and I thought it was complete #####.

It reminded me of a B-Movie 'Scream'. This movie pulls out all the tired-ass tricks of horror movie thrillers. The victim couple had every chance to escape on foot through most of the chaos. I mean, #####, they had a shotgun and plenty of ##### ammunition and somehow 'The Strangers' just seemed to play mind-##### games with them like they were teasing elementary school kids. Not a single part in this movie scared me, all the 1-2-3 hat-tricks were predictable as hell.

What's more, where was the ##### motive for the damn crime? You never know. Were they just some deranged family having a 'night out', or were they murderous burglars? It seemed so unrealistic to me.

This film was boring and was not suspenseful. The ending was unnecessary. I guess the only thing that was really all that 'strange' about this movie was that I thought it might not suck.

I'm ACTUALLY FRIGHTENED to know that the open-door ending will probably lead to a sequel.

I only went to see it because I thought it'd be about werewolves, and I haven't seen a werewolf movie since Underworld, which sucked at being about werewolves (#####' hate vampires). I should probably take a look at The Strangers that came out in 1998, I guess, though it also did seem a bit gothfaggy.

Anyway:

I looked ##### up on this movie, as my tendency is to know who what where when why (especially why and what those killers looked like).
First of all the two girl killers whose faces you can't see are smoking hot. Would've made the movie better by just showing their faces.
Also, the line "Because you were home" implies that it was a random attack.
And "It'll be easier next time" does imply a sequel.
The "Based on actual events," is for the Manson killings. And a series of burglaries in the director's neighborhood where a person would ring a doorbell, ask for a person that didn't live there, and when the door wasn't answered, they'd steal ##### from the house. That's it.

Anyway, my entire theater boo'ed this right after it ended.
I did a slow clap though.

Audience participation made this movie funny as #####.

Yeah, I did forget about that line -- but that's the thing with this movie, nothing is ever concrete, it's only implied. I would think, being that I'm realistic and 'moderately' (that might be a generous word laugh.gif ) intelligent, that these killers would not leave a wealthy, loaded summer home without bagging some loot. I mean, were they hicks that stole fancy clothes from thier last victims, or were the rich people that drove a beat-up clunker truck just to fool residents?

A random attack is not realistic motive -- even Manison bagged some goodies before he left the Tate and Labianca homes. But what the hell do you expect? This movie was not very realistic from the ##### start.

My girlfriend saw it then looked up the "based on true events" bit. The dude who wrote it, as a child, had someone come to his door and ask for someone who didn't live there. That is it.
