I've heard that they made very limited copies of these two games

Spells & Spirits

Darkened Skye

I actually haven't heard of those two games. Are they any good? I know the gamecube version of The Legend Of Zelda Twilight Princess became rare very quickly I have no idea why though.

thats Spells & Spirits game i've never even seen so it must be rare

I bought Darkened Skye for the very reason of never seeing it and automatically assuming it was rare, guess i was right.... You gotta really be in the fantasy mood to play it becuz its like a Mideval-Max Payne but crappier and it'll have you pulling your hair out since some of the puzzles will piss you off leaving you absolutley no clue on how to advance.

I give it a 7/10 but when i review it on gamefaqs imma give it an 8 so people can seek it more.

I personally wouldn't really consider Zelda: TP for GC to be rare. It's easy to find on Amazon (for around $25 now) or other used game stores (which, really, depends where you are, so I suppose I shouldn't really count those). As for the two games you've mentioned Validus, I actually had never heard of them before. Not sure on any other rare games though. Maybe the Zelda: Ocarina of Time/Majora's Mask compilation for GC? I've found it around (not often) and it's usually pretty expensive. Otherwise, aside from that and Skies of Arcadia: Legends, I really don't know any...There are a lot that are hard to find, but I don't know which ones are the actual rare games...

LOZ TP is difficult to get a hold of in the UK though especially if you want it new. I remember when it was released stores like Play, GAME and even Amazon just stopped selling new it about a month after it got released. I was lucky I pre-ordered because they definitely only sold limited copies over here.

The cheapest used copy on amazon.co.uk is £45 and a new copy being £147.99 http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/offer-listing/B...1564&sr=8-1

Even a used copy on play.com is £59.99

anyone ever hear of a game called Cubivore: Survival of the Fittest? tongue.gif

i think i overheard someone saying thats one of the rarest cube games

heres some pics of Darkened Skye, the game is a PC port and i dont know why it was brought to GC since its nothing spectacular, it has PC game ALL OVER IT when you play it... But when you get past that and the ridiculous Naked Gun style humor the game isnt too bad, it has the feel of an 80s fantasy-comedy movie.

I heard that is a pretty damn good game. Rare? Amazon has it for about $33, so it is pretty rare.

The game is actually almost a visual representation of Darwinism. You are a cute little cube and you go around in your little world. You can attack and kill other animals and if you do, you begin to evolve body parts and unique aspects to your little cube. It's made by Atlus, so it is bound to be good. Very Japanese and very good.

I've never played it, but that is what I heard.

i'm just asking because I have it. tongue.gif but yeah, that's the way the game is- eat, grow stronger, color-coordinate, and evolve. reel in the ladies, procreate, and send your child out into the world to become the 'ultimate' predator.

i've never gotten the full evolution list. it's a fun little game.

Fantastic game, that.
I never got around to beating it, though. I got stuck on a certain part and gave up for a while before my brother sold it. I don't think it's really rare, but not an easy find.
