Friends. I can't watch anything with Will Smith in it anymore, it's too creepy.

Friends for me anyday! I've seen every single episode and I never get tired of it ;D. I like Will in Prince and I do enjoy the show but I just like Friends better ;P.

Without cable until I was 18... I watched a lot of Friends outside of the last 2 seasons.

Fresh Prince is good when you're really stoned late at night but back in the day I'd have picked friends.

You can't beat Ross and Chandler.

i just saw bel-air today where they show him and his cuzzin goin to jail. later they talk about how the cops were racist and becus that they didnt do anyfink. touched my heart it did. HOW CAN YOU compare the two? fresh prince trumps friends.

I loved watching Fresh Prince of Bel-Air.

I can't say I liked Fresh Prince of Bel-Air very much, I've never been a big fan of Will Smith. On the other hand, Friends is one of the few shows that I really like. So yes, Friends for me as well.

I still watch both on TV if I have nothing to do and they are on. Fresh Prince is still funny as ever, but I too, prefer friends. Joey is awesome and Ross is just class.

I'm not the biggest fan of Friends but it's much better than Fresh Prince there's no comparison, and I've always considered Fresh Prince to be bit of a kids show to be honest.

Considering Fresh Prince is still on TV now I would count people who "were not old enough in Fresh Prince times" in to the equation. Seeing as Friends is never off the TV it would be safe to bet that Friends is more watched to this day. Besides, Fresh Prince is only funny because of Will Smith. I find non of the other characters funny.

You keep saying that but if you look at the ages of the posters in this thread most of us did grow up with Fresh Prince as well as Friends. Friends started in '94 and Prince in '90. Not too large of a gap. Both were highly successful and had many seasons.

Fresh Prince is on marathon re-runs on Nickelodeon, Friends is syndicated on several stations. At least here in the US.

Even if people weren't around during the days when the shows were still airing new episodes you can easily catch the re-runs now. Meaning even those who were not of age when the shows were in their prime probably can back up their opinion on which show they like more.

How am I biased? My age? There IS such a thing as repeats. Hell, 2 episodes of Fresh Prince is still being played every Sat night from 6pm. I've seen both of these programs from start to finish (yes I used to watch waaay to much tv), and I prefer Friends. Sorry for not agreeing with you, geez.

Friends ran for too long. I really don't like the last few seasons, as they were just getting annoying. I also do not like either Rachel, nor Monica. The three guys were hilarious as hell, couldn't decide who to pick my favourite.

Fresh Prince of Bel Air is very funny as well, but apart from Will and Geoffrey, I didn't found them funny. Jazz had some funny moments, but overall he wasn't funny.

So, because I like the cast more in Friends, than in Fresh Prince and because MoK gets upset when you vote for Friends, I say Friends.

Both shows are pretty garbage if you ask me. Fresh Prince got stale really fast and Friends just never really amused me. I'd have to say neither of them were really worthwhile imo.

Er... take note that I'm not actually 9 years old x_X. I think a fair few people already know how old I really am. Though, my age is besides the point that there are re-runs on TV and it's because of re-runs that the "Sex and the City" movie is actually as big as it is.

No ways! Rachel rocked! She was my favourite out of the girls XD. Phoebe was funny in a more obvious way, methinks ;P.

The bamboozle episode is still one of my favoruites and it was in the newer seasons!

Friends is a savior when there's only 3 channels to watch, trust me.

I liked Fresh Prince better.

Friends was too cutesy and most of the plots were about sex and relationships, which might be good for women or gays, but I can only take so much of the 'who's banging who' storylines.

Fresh Prince had some quirkier characters and the humour was more biting. Although Fresh Prince did even start to get stale after several seasons.
