I restarted the series and I finished Rebirth in less than 10 hours... In contrast to the week I spent on it before. AND I was lower level than I usually fight...
Maybe it's because I'm used to playing it?

Well a lot of games seem to pass by faster when you've already played them before. You don't spend as much time checking out the scenery, talking to characters, exploring, etc. as you did the first time.
I guess what takes the most time in the game is the leveling up and side quessts.

True enough, and honestly? I beat Azure Kite at Lv. 40 this time around... And I never got close to dying.

Well I haven't replayed any of the GU games, but I recently replayed Metal Gear Solid 1, and the whole game went by a lot faster tha the first time I played. I think it was mainly because I didn't take the time to explore or listen to many non mandetory conversations. Some games that seem long at first can appear a lot shorter when replayed. For example, the first time I beat Suikoden 2 my end game save file was around 60 hours. But when I replayed it I beat the game at under 12 hours.

Yeah, but I planned to spend quite a few hours on it. I didn't even skip any scenes! And yet I don't want to move on with the next game either. Reminisce is a game where I really want to enjoy the play. Especially with Alkaid.

Oh yeah, Rebirth was the first one. I thought you were talking about the last one. (I think what Ovan does in the last game made me confuse it's title with Rebirth) Well the second one was really good indeed. Especially because of Alkaid. I'd take my time with that one as well. I missed doing one job with Piros when I played. Not sure if I missed anything of worth (I'm guessing not), but I'll check it out some time when I replay the series.

Oh yeah, I might want to ask this now. I'm trying to up Alkaid's affection (This is for the ending of 3) and I noticed that her affection gauge DECREASED. Why is that?

The affection gauge decreases if the character dies in battle.

That explains alot. I've been using Alkaid in the arena for a while now. She died like twice, so I just wanted to know why it was going down. (You can get like 900+ experience in the arena, that's why I was training her there.)
