Okay, I just need to know:

How many points is just staying on the bike for let's say, ten seconds? thirty? A minute?

I believe you get 80 points for hitting a monster with the bike.


I'm asking for my Ryu Books.

60 points for crashing into a monster.

15 points for every minute, or something like that. It's not enough. And on top of that, you need to be moving for it to count. I tried just chilling on the bike and it didn't work.

Same. But how do you keep moving? The analog stick i one thing, but how would you hold down the X?

I used the bike pretty much all the time when I'm in a field, and often in towns until I got the 35% running shoes, so I maxed that one out before any other Ryu book. But in Vol 1 the bike was way too slow in towns, so I ran instead.

I still used my Bike in towns. Especially Lumina Cloth. The arena cunter is to far for my patience to endure running.

I just wish the rest of the party had bikes.

Despite using it in towns and Fields, I still haven't used it enough. In Vol 1 I maxed it out easily, but in Vol 2 I just didn't use it enough because I hated Breg Epona, so I avoided that town a lot.

And in Vol. 3, I haven't tried the bike missions yet, so I don't know. Once I do as much as I can there, I'll try to continue from there, but we'll have to see.

And my current Ryu Book is 5 for Bikes... I hate how it's limiting my guild growth, so I'll be doing that soon.

I maxed it out just last night.

Now I just have a few items to collect I'll max out my books.

But, For the sake of completion, what bike parts do you get from the Missions?

The bike missions? Well if you get in 1st place, you'll usually get the best Bike parts. But I remember that at least one of the best parts you had to buy at the end of the game, in Net Slum I think, but I may be wrong.

I went on a buying spree since I forgot to buy parts in ALL of the towns. I cleaned out Mac Anu's, Dol Dona's, and Breg Epona's bike shops. AND I got the Menami Muffler from Netslum Tartarga. Now I'll just complete the parts list.

I've fought so much in the arena I have 536,789,326 GP. (I love the arena) This absurd amount is perfect for buying random crap for my party to raise affection.

So I completed all of the Bike Missions and Quests, have all the parts, am ranked #1 on all the missions, and I have an awesome looking bike that is totally maxed out. But my Ryu Book VIII is still only lvl 5! *sad*

Looks like I'll need to do some more crashing...

OR leave it on ALL NIGHT. When you wake up it'll be maxed. I was Lv. 5 on the book as well. It shot up to 9 after only a night on the bike.

Time to find a Brick... *sigh*

Or you could tape the X button down... and then you can place a penny on top or something. (Just make sure your vibrate function is OFF)
