Not sure how many Sega fans or on the forum , but if you had a DC what were your favorite games on it?

Here is my top 10:

1. Skies of Arcadia
2. Soul Calibur
3. Resident Evil: Code Veronica
4. Granida 2
5. Marvel vs. Capcom 2
6. Sonic Adventure
7. Shen Mu
8. House of the Dead 2
9. Time Stalkers
10. Ecco the Dolphin
Ocelot
Like many I was swift to purchase the Dreamcast on release, then within only a few months it was quickly abandoned for the brand-name dominant PS2. Although I only had a small collection, here's a few of my favorite Dreamcast games.

Marvel vs. Capcom 2
Jet Grind Radio
Power Stone
Space Channel 5
Samba de Amigo

It's a shame I wasn't able to get Grandia 2 or Skies of Arcadia and now they are virtually impossible to find so I don't think I'll be able to find a copy of them and see what I missed years ago.

By far my favourite shenmue game would have to be Shenmue. That game spawned an unequaled obsession to never beat the game lols. I mean, I eventually did, but I played it through a second time collecting all that I could, and playing the forklift jobs so I can avoid actually progressing the storyline. So much funtimes. *__*

Second fav would go to Grandia 2. I never got to beat it, mostly because it was too hard for me, but it was indeed a great great RPG. I still remember long hours playing it and obsessing over the dinner chats and the storyline was WOW.

I had another game called Time Stalkers or something. It wasn't great, but I had fun with it.

Oh man, this thread was made just for me. In no order...
CANNON SPIKE:

Way fun with 2 players, a classic-feeling beat'em up. Just so fun.

BOMBERMAN ONLINE:

Used to love going online and blasting fools/getting blasted by fools happy.gif

SHENMUE and SHENMUE II:

Rocked me awesomely, the whole way through. Picked up the second via UK import and played with a boot disc, and it was like, even better. For those of you that liked the original, but still haven't experienced Shenmue II, I recommend it highly; though, it'll be bittersweet, since it seems Shenmue III will never happen.

SKIES OF MOTHERFUGGING ARCADIA:

Amazingly fun to explore, unique battle system, fine story and characters.

JET GRIND RADIO:

Idunno, it was just plain fun and a fresh idea for a game. Psh.

SPACE CHANNEL 5:

Wacky!

TIME STALKERS:

Underrated, probably because about 15 people nationwide actually played it. Was a solid RPG, interesting story/plot concept.

POWER STONE 2:

Still my favorite fighter ever. Fiercely fun with 4 players.

PHANTASY STAR ONLINE:

My goodness was I in love with this for a long time. Never paid for the online, either. Like, I joined after its prime and I guess their billing system was wonky or something, because for those 6 months or whatever, I played but never got a bill or anything. Was kinda funny. I would have gladly, but...never got charged.

NAPPLE TALE:

Very good action RPG in the vein of Gurumin (recently released for PSP).

SOUL CALIBUR:

The SOUL STILL BURNS!

Man...What a machine...what a bunch of classics...

Oh yeah, and Grandia II. Almost forgot. Much love.

In no particular order:

> Skies of Arcadia
> Grandia 2
> Shenmue
> Shenmue 2
> Jet Set Radio
> Chu Chu Rocket
> Metropolis Street Racer(The grandaddy of Project Gotham Racing)
> Sonic Adventure

The Dreamcast was an awesome console.
The Evil Dead
My favorite game was the one that Sega played, abandoning console owners ( Me ), again.

Sonic Adventure is probably my favorite DC game, and Cannon Spike was good while it lasted.
Valince
1. Grandia II(BETTER(translation wise) than the PS2 version)
2. Phantasy star online
3. DOA2
4. Shenmue
5. Skies of Arcadia

Those are infact the only games I ever owned for it lol.
Noir
Voyou San
Power Stone 2
Skies of Arcadia

and um.. i think thats it actually.

Haha! Funnily enough I found my old Dreamcast when clearing out my attic I forgot what I nice looking console it was I still think us Europeans had the nicer blue logo and cases over the orange tongue.gif I've no idea where the hell my games have gone though sad.gif That's what happens when you move house six times in 8 years I guess.

Soul Calibur - still the best in the series
Grandia 2
Shenmue
Resident Evil Code Veronica this and the RE remake on the Gamecube are easily may favs in the series.
Skies Of Arcadia - never made it past the first disc though my cats jumped on the dreamcast whilst playing and disc got scratched to hell.
The Nomad Soul - obviously better on the PC but was great for me at the time since I never had one and loved this game to bits and it had David Bowie in it too.
Silver an underrated and very difficult RPG.
Markies
Marvel Vs. Capcom 2
Street Fighter: Third Strike
Shenmue
Crazy Taxi
Grandia II
Skies of Arcadia
Bust-A-Move 4

There are a ton of good games for the Dreamcast. I am going to pick up the system eventually as there some games that I would really want to play. The Dreamcast is a great under-rated system.

No one other than me put Shenmue II down. Did no one like it?

I'm in the middle of playing it, but for the Xbox. So I would put it down, but I didn't play it on Dreamcast. :'(

Fair enough. The Dreamcast version did not use English voices, but the Xbox version does. So the Dreamcast version may not have been to your preference if you don't like listening to other languages.
LunarMaster
The English version of Shen Mu 2 was never officially released in America (you could import the UK version). I too ended up getting it for Xbox.

I have only played a few DC games, but I found one treasure I will never forget

Skies of Arcadia!
Have bought it for GC resently and love it!

Then we have Grandia 2 but I played it first on PS2 so I guess it doesn't count!
