Well, let's see what I can make up. Must be something different than what most people see on here... AH HA!

Basis
What if history didn't run the same course? What if instead of suddenly developing technology in leaps and bounds we were stuck in a steampunk-esque era? What if all the modern technology today were based off of different methods of power? What if instead of science, alchemy ruled, or magic? Or how about all three?!

Background
It is the late 1800's. The world has taken many different twists and turns in its history than what you and are are taught. Instead of science being the basis for everything, alchemy and magic has also come alongside. In some parts of the world, each one reigns almighty, while in other parts the three coexsist in harmony. However, each person born into this world has to choose which to follow at some point. This has lead to some dissention among certain groups of people, each believing their method of technology is the best. There are three main "kingdoms" in which each kind of tech rules.

The Brache Empire - Relying on science and machinery to do their part, each person in this kingdom is highly skilled at working with their hands. From machinework to farming, blacksmiths to scientists, each person believes that the best way to achieve any sort of technology is best when you can rationalize and see how it works. They are the closest to modern era. Their cities are expansive and huge, each building impressive in its own rights. Many cities have research buildings from which new technologies are developed and shared across the Empire. Each city is ruled by a Governor and the police force, which enforces the rules set by the governor. They have developed firearms, but nothing more edvanced than revolvers and single cartridge rifles. Most of the people decide to carry swords or spears if they decide to have weapon. As for vehicles, they have steam powered cars and horse drawns carriages, as well as steam-powered boats and bi/monoplanes. They have a basic telephone systems, but it is contained within each town. Towns must talk to each other using couriers. They reside in the Americas

Auguaras Utopia - The Auguaras Utopia is colonized by those who believe that Alchemy is the best route to technology. Everyone in this colony is a skilled alchemist, but each is skilled at a different kind of alchemy. Some are best at synthesis (combination, some others at creation. And all are broken down into different elements. Fire water, earth, wind, and metal are the five elements that the alchemists rely on. Each alchemist also has a different form of using their alchemy, ranging from potions to alchemic circles. They have very little mechanical technology, trying to rely on alchemy to produce what they need, but realizing that some machinery makes things much easier for them. They are the blend of magic and science. Their cities are based around an "Alchemy Square" which is where an alchemist of every kind is alavailable to produce what is needed if you cannot. These alchemists also act as the governing body of each city. For transportation, horses can be found, as can elementally-powered vehicles, depending on the alchemist using the vehicle. Weaponry is down to each alchemist, and their imagination. Communication is courier only. They control Western Europe and Africa

Euronias - Euronias is the magic reliant coutnry of the east. All those who reside in this conrty believe that the only path to technology resides in the ancient art of magic. AS therre are many different people of different walks of life, as too is there many kinds of magicians. There are the elemental magicians, who control one of the four elements; the illusonists, who rely on the mind to help them in what they need, such as telepathy, telekinesis, and non-elemental magic; and the summoners, who invoke magic to summon forth all sorts of being, from the lowly work horse to powerful demons. Each person specializes in a kind of magic and everyone works together to make their cities prosperous. Each city is goverened by an Arch-Wizard who acts as governor of the city. For vehicles, the wizards have created wooden carriages which are pushed by balls of wind contained in glass housing. Also horses and other summoned beasts of burden can be used to transport the wizards. Weaponry depends on the wizard and their speciality. Communication is left to the telpaths, there being a designated group of telepaths in each city who purpose is communication between cities. They control Asia and Australia.

- Sub History - Australia - Although settled in the late 18th century by primarily Alchemist explorers, continued meetings with the local Aboriginal population led the following generations to adopt magic as their primary science. Years of continued magical study have led the country of Australia to some of the greatest leaps in magical knowledge on the planet. And although Australia is friendly with the rest of the fellow magical countries, recent exploration by the country of China into the development of more war-like magiks has led to a strain in relations.
- While the majority of Australians are magic users, the south eastern city-states continue to pursue alchemical studies in order to stay true to the original settlers of the country. They have a tendency to be a little snobby of anyone else on account of their self-perceived 'purity'. The majority of the Australian people have migrated to the northern city-states in an effort to be closer to communication telpaths. The rest dwell in small communities in rural Australia.
- The main difference between the large city-states and the small communities is the types of magiks used and studied. Whilst the large city dwellers pursue all kinds of magic, fire, ice, water etc. Although all types of magic are part of nature, the rural communities prefer to strengthen their bonds with nature dealing almost entirely with the more earth based magiks.

The areas of Eastern Europe and the Middle East is currently set aside by all contries as the only area where all people may reside peacefully. Each country does have people of the other technological factions residing in them, but their numbers are few and they are looked down upon.

In 1813, when there were no countires, in the small town of Gorspeel in modern-day Ukraine, an odd occurrence has happened. There was a rock found by a miner who had no earthly idea what it was. He took it to a local earth elementalist who was unable identify it. A geo-alchemist was unable to identify what it was made of. In the end, noone had any idea what it was. But it had an effect on the people. The three people who found it realized they had new found knowledge of their technolgies, and could wield them as they never had before. Each learned all of their respective techology within minutes and could easily use it to its full ability. These three gathered those that knew their technology and created city-states. Eventually, a massive war erupted, encompassing the entire world. The main area of fighting was in Eastern Europe and the Middle East, where most people heard the stone wwas being kept in. After fifty years of war, the three nations settled down as noone knew where the stone was at that point in time. The area of hard fighting was said to be a Peaceful Zone, and anyone could live in these areas without fear of resentment or ill-being from those of different technology.

Setting

It is 1882, and there is news once again of the resurfacing of this fabled stone. In the eastern part of Russia, in the town of Svatsvick, the poeple have heard rumors of another war beginning to come up. Small skirmishes were allegedly occurring in multiple places around the world, and those of differing technology in the respective contires were being deported of killed. Where was the stone? Noone really knew. All that was said was that it was supposed to be in the same area it was lost in, Eastern Europe. The cities around the area decided that they would get a few brave men and or women to look for and destroy this stone, to bring pece back to the world.

Rules

Aside from the base rules of this forum...

-No off-the-wall charcters, try to ground them in some sense of reality. Just the timeline was changed, not the rules of physics or basic human biology.

-No Harry Potter, Full-Metal Alchemist, or well known characters. You can base them off of said characters, but try to keep to what I've laid down.

-Remember, The Scientists are the typical idea of Steampunk; the Alchemists are a combination of FMA and Steampunk; and the Wizards are a combo of every kind of wizard known to man and , yep, steampunk. Please base your characters accordingly.

-Big one... ONE TECH ONLY!!! No exceptions! The reason being that anyone with two techs could easily somewhat godmode.

-Every so often I may bring in NPCs that are played by another RPer that I asked. At this point, as well as any other in this RP, your characters CAN DIE. If you donot want this to happen, be smart about how you RP. Reckless attacks will get you killed. If your character is dealt a mortal blow, you must RP out how they die.

My Character

- Name - Nathe Regale

- Specialization - Aqua-alchemist (water) - creator

- Description - Standing about 5' 7" tall with dirty blone hair, Nathe is considered quite handsome by most women. His grey-blue eyes are calm and understanding, but seem to hide something behind them. He can normally be seen sporting an off-while button-up shirt with a dark blue vest over top of it. His hands are voered with black leather gloves with small circles with odd symbols engraved in them. He wears tight fitting black pants, but the bottoms are worn from what appears to be constant travel. He occasionally can be seen wearing a black wool coat with brown leather patches over the shoudler. A faded black scarf is all that he wears around his neck. He is always clean shaven, and likes to appear his best at all times.

- History - Nathe came from the Auguaras Utopia with his parents at age three, simply to start a new, more peaceful life. His father was a Geo-Alchemy Synthesiser, being able to easily create their house from the smal bits of rock that remained in the town. His mother was an Aqua-Alchemy Synthesiser, able to create many different objects from the elements she distilled from the water she collected. She died when Nathe was seven from a fire. She was trying to help evacuate people from a burning building when the building lost it support and fel on her and many others. Nathe took it very hard and became a very skilled Aqua-Alchemy Creator, the best any local had every seen or heard of. He was selected to find the stone of power due to his ability to heal and his ability to create a blade of water hard enough to cut through steel.

- Description - He has brown hair, brown eyes, is white and 5 feet, 9 inches tall. He is usually found wearing a black trench coat due to the climates he has been traveling in. (Black absorbs heat and also the coat keeps him warm either way. He wears a pair of brown trousers and is usually found wearing an iron helmet to protect his head during his travels.

- History - Hailing from the densely populated region of the American North, part of the Brache Empire. He was born to a poor family of inventors. Watching his mother and father work with their machines, researching through books, experimenting and re-working their projects, he revered the prospects of what science could bring. After getting a job at fourteen, he eventually made his way through the first hand schooling of the time to end up in a small university by the age of eighteen, graduating by the age of 23. Intelligent, Quick with his hands and sharp of the eyes, trained in the use of long range fire-arms and a crossbow, using a longsword only when the situation demands - He set off with an open mind, a sack of books, provisions, weapons, and a horse driven wagon in order to seek truth and knowledge.
He currently travels across Europe with a female alchemist and a male magic wielder, who now seek the same path - to learn and not dismiss other forms of knowledge. He is a friend to Reina, while trying to become a friend to the enigmatic Janus.

- Description - She has long black hair, hazel eyes, is white, 5 feet, 6 inches tall. She usually wears a dress, with long pants underneath. Commonly wears brown leather gloves and wears glasses. She wears a hood that extends from the dress when it is cold.

- History - Growing up In the area of Britain - The island that is part of the Auguaras Utopia. She was trained in the ways of alchemy by her father. Growing up without a mother or any other siblings, as her mother left in the whim of travel to find her own path - She developed a very arrogant and commanding personality. Usually the one who decides what should be done and where - She was soon recognized to hold strong in the art of material transmutation and put it to use to make a living by transmuting raw materials into usable form. After which she used machines built by Kiev alongside use of the combined with her alchemic circles. She met Kiev on his travels to visit stone-henge to ponder on the mystery it brought. They discussed what he was doing and why, and she decided she too wanted to see how far knowledge can go. She currently travels with the scientist and a mage. She is a friend to Kiev, but just a companion to Janus.

- Specialization - Elemental Mage (Fire)

- Description - He has dyed silver hair, and he has blue eyes. He noticeably wears a black face mask at all times, while wearing a black monk style robe and brown boots. He wears a wicker farmer's hat at all times. He is 6 ft 3 inches, and by the color of his hands, has a tinge of brownish Asian style skin.

- History - Little is known about him by his companions. Notably enigmatic and mysterious. He was found ill and injured when they were traveling through the black forest in the area of Germany within the bounds of Central Europe. When questioned about what happened, he told them the story of the stone and how he was traveling on his way into Western Europe to do some research. They told him what they were doing and why. He decided it would would be best to see how their idea of greater knowledge would turn out. He decided to lend his assistance as they now travel toward the areas of eastern Europe to study and ponder about the mysterious stone while pursuing other knowledge along the way.

- History - Born into a alchemists family, Kiron was taught how to bend metal to his will. He found himself able to mend metal to flesh when his little brother lost a leg, making a bronze leg for him. With the discovery of the stone, he left his home in Britain to learn what this stone was capably of.

Agent - Approved the scientist and the magician. However, the alchemist I would be edit a bit, since she almost seems to cross the line into science... She should be able to transmutate what she needs through the circles, and have very little need for machines. Unless I am misunderstanding...

Misunderstanding. The transmutation alongside machines is her combined talents with the scientist. If I recall, I mentioned the three had started working together to see the possibility of the three skill sets merged in the pursuit of greater knowledge. They work together. I edited the history, I presented it wrong.

- Description - Lark is short but skinny. She stands around 5 foot 3 with curly dirty blonde hair that bounces around her shoulders, usually hidden under a black newsboy cap, . Her eyes are deep blue and her face heart shaped and slightly feminine. She wears a collared white shirt with billowy sleaves that cinch at the wrists and a scruffy brown waistcoat. A red aviators scarf is wrapped around her neck and a pale blue sash around her waist. This sash is held in place by a brown leather belt which holds many of her tools and pouches. Below, she wears a pair of slightly baggy toffee coloured pants with dark brown knee patches tucked into her chunky brown mid-calf boots. She carries a map case over her shoulder as well as a satchel stuffed with papers and magniflying glasses. A monocle hangs from her brest pocket along with a not-so-shiny pocketwatch.

- History - Lark is an extremely bright soul. She excels in her small field, a combination of the study of Aether (the classical Platonic fifth element) and Geoforms (rocks, to be blunt). In other words, she studys how the mythical substance Aether (used by scientists as an umbrella term to classify things they cannot classify otherwise) affects the earth and the world around us. Because of this, she was immediatly entranced by the re-discovery of the fabled stone. Born in England, she spend her early years in a rather seedy part of London known as Cheapside. During her teen years, her entire family migrated to the American north. Lark still retains her thick Cockney accent, combined with her biting wit and often sarcastic outlook, tends to get her into trouble. She is extremely stubborn, intellegent, sharp and quick. Once she sinks her teeth into something, its hard to chase her off. Larks weapons of choice include a pair of single-shot flintlock pistols, but she is extremely proficient with the rapier.

- Name - Timmothy Ratchink (Riot)

- Age - 25

- Sex - Male

- Technology - Magic

- Specialization - His specialty is the summoning of creatures, mostly other worldly, and always unsusual.

- Description - He stands at about 6'2" and weighs about 190lbs. He is mostly muscle, though it is hard to tell becuase of his large clothes. He is also big boned, which would explain his very broad shoulders. His skin is harshly pale, and his eyes are albino pink. His hair is down to his waist line, and is braided, then thrown over his right shoulder. It is snow white. He has no pigment on his entire body. He has a small tatoo of a rose on his back, it is the only real color on his entire body. He wears leather boots and cotton pants and a long sleeved cotton shirt with a hood that he can pull up to protect his sensitive skin and eyes from the sun. He also wears leather gloves over his hands.

- History - He was born in the country of Euronias, but his parents quickly fled with him to eastern europe. He was left there, and they ran again when they were found. He was taught by two brothers with completely different, yet similair outlooks on technology. They were twins, one was an alchemist, and the other a magician summoner. They created wonders together. They were the first to have created a golem. In which the alchemist created the form of a giant man, and the summoner gave it life with a spirit. (Fankenstein kind of thing)

The summoner called him Riot, due to an accident when he was younger. What happened there was the summoner was summoning imps, and some how, when Riot summoned one of his own, the one Riot summoned took off, and the others followed, causing short term chaos in the town until all of the imps were captured.

He now still has the imp around, it is possibly his best freind after the two brothers set off to find their other twin in the Brache Empire, where he studies tecnology. They plan to combine their skills to help lead the world to a more peaceful, more developed world.

The reason they have recruited Riot, is due to his large variety of freinds in another world somewhere else that he can so easily summon. He is also magnificent with most animals, and the imp and hell cat could also prove quite useful.

Other Info: There is also the green imp named Brat, Riots good freind. And there is the Hell cat looking creature, that is more of a kitten than a hell cat. Riot summoned it as his first pet when it was kitten. The brothers were not happy with him, but he insisted on keeping it. Now the cat stands at six foot while on all fours, and is Riots mode of trasportation. The cat is known as Baby by most, which originated from the name baby face. That was earned because of its ears were fully grown before the cat even began to grow. ((Noted that dumbo doesn't exist quite yet.))

Neko - I'm sorry, but I cannot aprrove this character. First off, he should have a full name. Demo or riot is fine, but only as a nickname. Second, you can only have one kind of technology. Sorry, but no combination, I must not have stated that... even though I'm sure I did. If I was to allow it, charactrers could be superpowered freaks! Also your description needs works as well. First, that guy is freakishly tall, yet fairly thin, and muscular. I'm going to assume fit, since any more muscle and he'd be very ill-proportioned. If you want to make him that way, he needs to have a reason why, medically speaking. The clothing does not fit the time, since the more material someone had, meant they were wealthy, or found a shirt too large for them. Also, denim jeans did not exsist. And his eyes are just not physically possible. And no, contacts are not an option. However, I do like some of the ideas you put in there! The idea for the twins that made a golem is very creative (props), and I like the accident.

You just need to improve on the areas I stated, and this character will be no problem. If you would like some help, I'll be more than willing to help if you PM me.

seems interesting enough, but however, for my character i would like him to be from the middle eastern part, where all technologies exist. so that he has knowledge of all three, mainly magic and and science. The reason for this is i have always used my character (Kit) in almost every RP i take part in. He has a massive range of abilities and a great history. i can pm you the original profile if you are interested. but as to my question if it is ok then here is his profile....

-Name - Kit Yasuo

- Age - 20

- Sex - Male

- Technology - Science and magic.

- Specialization - New Age Blacksmith, invokes magic into his created works and Holy Magic

- Description - His hair is white and in length is just above his shoulders. His eyes are hazel but his pupils have an odd design. He stands about six foot tall and has an athletic build, his muscle tone is very ripped and can be seen through his tightly fitting attire which is much like Kadaj of FFVII AC, except white. His weaponry consists of a single self-made katana. Its blade is about five and a half foot long and has the words peaceful one burned into the blade. the handle black with white ribbon wrapped around the hilt. The sheath is made of leather, painted white and is strapped to his left side by one of three grey belts. the other two carry his white handled pistols. each six shooter is custom made, but no different than any other aside from the words ingraved on the handles, (war) and (death). The triggers were special hair triggers, for the quick draw. Holsters were black leather.

- History - His mother, was one of magic during the first war. however she disagreed one the reasons for war. each country had their own beliefs, and she didnt see anything wrong with that, and neither did his father, a man of science. Kits father found magic quite interesting in all reality. However during the war he was sent to the front lines for the Empire. The horror of battle filled his body and he fled, branded forever a coward. In the last days of the war, he came across an encampment of magicians, one particular a female. She noticed his wounds from the beasts that tore at his flesh and nursed him. They returned to their respected lands only to be branded as traitors. They soon found themselves along side each other again in the peaceful zone, and together settled down. They had a child. Young Kit, they found that a few years after birth, he had the potential to use magic and was exceptionally useful at lighting the darkness. His blonde hair soon turned to white and his father began to train him in the arts of science and swordplay. he was an exceptional person, however in his teen years he was frowned upon by others. a mixed breed though they lived in peace with each other they couldnt understand the bond between his parents. Now at the age of twenty, he keeps to himself makes his wares during the day, and hones his skills at night, alone. Respected by some, feared by others, envied by few, understood by none. But now his father, imune to his mothers magical treatment is plauged by a sickness. Kit has begun a search to cure his father, the thoughts of alchemy gripped his mind but figured if he was discovered he would be in some major trouble. deciding against it, he conjured up some of his own magic, to help his father and seen a slight improvement one day. but nothing to rejoice over. He now spends his days thinking up a magical machine, one to cure any ailment. The blueprints have been drawn up, but the rest, is just a dream. Even with all three technologies in the world together, this accomplishment cant be done. He needs greater knowledge....

Rohan - I'm sorry, but one one technology per character. No exceptions. You can however, choose to have his weapons blessed by magic (runes and such), but he cannot make AND bless his weapons. One or the other please. Also, please understnad that the sword, since it is amazingly long, will be very slow to use. Any sword to be used in a fight are no longer than about 3 1/2 feet long. The longest swords used were about 2 meters (6 1/2 feet) but were only used to stab as they rode by an emeny while the user was on a horse. If you choose to keep the long sword, you cannot have the revolvers. If you choose to shorten the sword, it must be shorter than 2 1/2 feet (standard sabre). Those are the only bits that need editing.

- Name - Jack Spent

- Age - 28

- Sex - Male

- Technology - Magic

- Specialization – Bushranger (Basically a hunter and tracker.)

- Description - Jack stands about six foot tall and of a solid build. While not well built he certainly is no twig. Jack has short, light brown hair with the odd sun bleached blond bit here and there, most notably above his left ear. He wears a typical bushranger outfit, brown pants, light brown shirt and tattered and faded brown overcoat. He wears the usual brown boots and wide brim Ranger hat.

Jack’s weapons are not really that unusual, a standard revolver strapped to his side, with only minor magical enhancements, mostly to improve accuracy, and a rifle strapped across his back, once again, with only the increased accuracy enhancement on it. He also carries a small back-up knife in his boot in case he needed it. All three weapons are unremarkable; they are all the standard colors, markings, and holsters.

His only true companion is Russel, a brown and black Australian Kelpie that he found shortly after setting out into the world.

- History - (Jack’s history.)

Although originally born in the large City-state of Brisbane, Jack moved to the country at a young age with his parents to escape the constant political turmoil of large cities. The position of Arch-Mage was a coveted one, and there were often many people trying to oust the current Arch-Mages.

Jack spent his growing years much in the same way any country lad in our timeline would have spent it, working farms, raising cattle and growing crops. The country people tended to be a little more reverent of their ties to natures magic, and thus did most of their work by the strength of their backs.

Jack was no more gifted than anyone else in his community, and was more than happy to lead a normal life, living off the land. Taking whatever bounty she saw fit to supply him. But alas, that wasn’t to be. Drawn endlessly over that next hill with a burning desire to see the other side he set out at the age of 24 to travel the country.

He traveled across the open bush land, across the blue mountains, and along the coasts. Shortly after setting out he came upon a young kelpie pup that had been abandoned by it’s mother or owner, he nursed it back to health and named it Russel, in honor of his father.

After four years of travel he had decided that he had had enough of seeing Australia and decided to cross the open seas to new and exciting lands. After a grueling trip in a large boat, which neither of them were accustomed too, they found themselves in the fabled Peace-Lands of Eastern Europe, and set out to find whatever adventure called them.



This really looks like fun. I'm going to enjoy this.

TsUkAsA - Approved! He is going to be an interesting character. Just remember though, since he is magic and not science, he is not going to be as good with his weapons as someone who studies science. He can be good, even to the point of marksman, but a scientist with the same trainign would be better,since he could understand the mechanics of the gun and whatnot. Oh, and thanks for the history!

I have a question before I cook up a character profile or two though. Single-cartridge rifles - would that be the bolt-action rifles, or the lead ball-and-gunpowder ones? (Since bolt-action rifles were already in existence in the middle of the 1800s, I don't really see any reason why not... But you're the boss here. =3)

I don't mind playing an antagonistic character either, but I want at least one of my characters to be a quiet, serious anti-hero type. We can discuss this over PM, if that's necessary.

Oh yeah, bolt-action definitely. No sense in putting things further back.

Description – Standing at 1.7 metres, he is a dwarf in comparison to many of his fellow Europeans. His keeps his dark brown hair very short – at crew cut length - so that it does not get in the way of his deep brown eyes. His stoic expression betrays little emotion, befitting of his personality. Many have found him to be highly attractive – with the almost perfect match of jaw shape, facial features, well-sculpted body and a unique, serious and cynical personality. Able to remain calm and collected under immense pressure, he makes the perfect gunsmith and marksman, but not the best personality to have at massive parties. He is always clean shaven, to minimise itching when heavily perspiring. He often wears olive drab trousers that are not too loose and not too tight, stuffing the ends of the leggings into his footwear, blousing them over his boots. He wears a long-sleeved black shirt with an olive drab jacket over it, and carries a utility belt on which several pouches are hung, for storing ammunition and other items. Carries a large bag on his back which he made for himself to bear heavy loads. Despite his relatively small size, he is capable of fighting hard and long – years as an apprentice gunsmith since he was young have toned his body and provided him with high physical and mental stamina. His preferred firearm is the powerful Mauser bolt-action rifle that he customised for himself – it fits perfectly and reacts exactly as he desires. He also carries the Malaysian equivalent of a machete – a parang – and a tool kit to maintain his weapons with.

History – Wilhelm started life as the son of a master gunsmith. He took great interest in his father’s work, and often spent time with his father, learning the trade. He was raised in a single-parent family – his mother had left the world only a few years after his birth, succumbing to illness. His father put food on the table and taught his son to be hardy and independent, taking him on hunting trips many times a year, in all weather conditions and all kinds of terrain. The spoils of each hunt would feed them and contribute to their funds – animal pelts in good condition fetched good prices. Through this, he gained many skills, developed physically and mentally. His father, however, became the victim of a violent attack when he refused to make weapons for mercenaries. His father had always taught him that the gun was not a weapon to be used for profiteering, but a mighty tool that should be used for the betterment of the lives of people. He returned to the workshop to find his father’s head hung over the door, with all weapons stolen and all the tools and equipment broken. With nothing left for himself, he took what money he could find and gathered some tools which he needed. At the age of 22, he began wandering the world, travelling to many places and countries on foot and by ship, often working to pay for food and lodging, or to pay for the fare. His journey brought him back to Europe, wandering across the mountain ranges and the great plains of Russia.

Description – ‘Sieg’, as most people address him, is a tall, imposing figure, at 1.9 metres in height. His light brown hair stretches to the back of his neck at its longest ends. The bright spark in his blue eyes has been known to charm many a woman. He wears a black coat with white buttoned shirt and trousers, and also sports a cravat tied around his neck. Also wears leather boots and gloves. Despite being a magician, he has not neglected physical training. He is reasonably fit, and is no slouch when it comes to a fight. Carries with him a broadsword, with a simple inscription on it that reads: “Thor”. Prefers to use magic instead of his weapon, however.

History – Sieghart von Mittermeier had always been an odd character. His personality did not allow him to make many friends; he was often too focused on himself. He was the son of magicians of ordinary capability, and never saw that he was any greater than his peers. His mentor in the study of magic, however, saw great potential within the child. He had a knack for manipulating the electrical potentials between himself and others, often causing minor electric shocks out of mischief. He took it to another level altogether, eventually being able to channel and control electrical power – this was all the more so in situations such as thunderstorms. As such, people began to call him the Son of Thor. On top of that, he was also able to control the wind and air to a certain extent – he could fly for short periods of time, send objects flying, extinguish flames and even suffocated small animals to death as part of his own training regimen. The psychological effect of having killed so many creatures took its toll on him; he began to lose his humanity, and began travelling in search of greater power, blinded by the lust for more and more of it. On his way, following a call of unknown source, he honed his skills and put them to use in order to earn his keep. This call would lead him to Eastern Europe, and then to Russia...


Please advise on this profile - I'm not certain as to whether it is okay by your given guidelines and rules, but I find that it might be more challenging to go up against an antagonistic character with an edge in power, which would force his opponents to work as a team in order to defeat him.

If you guys want a secondary antagonist like a Meglo-maniacial anything - I'm decent with such a role. Just a scourge to drop by from time to time. I am rather adept at controlling completely corrupted and unstable characters who have are intelligent and have heavy visualizations of grandeur and power - Etc.

thanks for the compliment sabre, like i said it was more or less to help establish what my character is like in conversation. I've got no real problem with people using my charecter in their posts if they let me know. like, if you want to advance a story a little bit, and you don't want to wait for me to get around to posting, i'm usually quicker on the pm, so feel free to ask me there and i'll give the nod if it's cool. which is usually, i like my charecters, but i'm happy to let them do their own thing from time to time.

btw, i've fixed some of the errors and typos and missing words as well, it should improve the quality just a bit

And for some reason you made it as though I re-took it - Removing my intent for my own characters in the first place. And there is more than one table. I should be in a table further from the bar. This is a bar, there are tables in a bar. Not just a counter.

Here it is. I apologize for the wait, and please be patient. I'm not actually going to post until me and my friend are in this, and discuss what our first move shall be. Also, I would like to ask the people here to refrain from being masterminds, as we really only have the member base for me and my friend. Feel free to try, but rest assured (and I mean no offense), but you are far, far outclassed when it comes to the area of evil geniuses. It's what I do for a living, after all.

- Age - Irrelevant, and unknown (Between the ages of 30 and 40).

- Specialization - Logos (Mental Magic) and a bit of summoning (which Sabre approved).

- Description - Crippled since Birth, Dionysius Artemi conceals his deformed left leg beneath a long robe, originally jet black but now dirtied by travel. He skin is a rather light color, kept under the hood which conceals his scarred and rather terrifying face, on which rests a medium sized but very thin nose, made of smooth skin, with no blemishes. Bony hands are often concealed within the robe, but are evident when he points at the man he is either lecturing or killing. The fingers look like they have been broken many times, and although repaired and covered with flesh and bone, they will often send the chill of death down a man's spine. He will wear worn, black leather
boots at all times, and carries with him a gnarled and heavy wooden staff, which he uses as support when he walks.

Short, I know. But then again, he's an antagonist, and so it really matters not. My friend should arrive soon, but for now, I sleep.

Allright, I have come with another character Idea I am hoping that he could be, you know, the brute force behind the antagonist, Kind of like the body guard, it is up to you however Sabre, where he lies in the story line, just let me know what you think of him, and where you want him, if you want him. Can't blame you if you don't, its kind of a blindfolded shot at the living pinata.


- Name - Grate Bellsmoth (Reaper)

- Age - Immposible to tell

- Sex - Male

- Technology - Alchemy

- Specialization - Specializes in body altering alchemy.

- Description - Before the experiments that changed his physical appearance forever, he was only about 5'6" with a very small build. Due to many alchemic experiments on himself, he is now a monstrous looking creature, not even really human. He now stands at 6'7". He is a massive man, built like a tank. He has no nose, no ears, and is missing his left eye. He also has no lips. He walks like an ape, due to his over grown arms, and still same length legs. He has no hair on his body, and is is scarred in many places were the skin had stretched to much and split open. He wears a robe that manages to cover his entire body, and he is always traveling at night, making immpossible to really tell what he looks like. He face is covered by a mask that is made of iron, and painted shadow black. (No, not like the man in the iron mask, this only covers the front of his face.) He has a hood always pulled over his head as well.

- History - After Grate reached the age of 24, he began to experiment with alchemy that could alter ones body, though only temerarilly. Soon after this he began to make fatal mistakes on his subjects. So, he used himself after beind kicked out of the school that he was teaching at. Eventually, he found a way to make them permanent. After many experiments, he lost sight of who he really was.

Having been appointed the primary antagonist, it seems, I'd just like to point out that I do not want to have bodyguards. There is one person that I will accept working with me, but unfortunately, he seems to have forgotten to post in the introduction thread, leaving him unable to post here.

This is not limiting the type of characters you can create (ha! Like I could do that), I am simply informing you that I will only be working with one other person. You may attempt to work with me ICly, but do not expect it to succeed. Now then, once my partner decides to get off his lazy ass and post, then I shall begin. If he doesn't do so by tonight, then I'll post anyway and have him come in later to explain why my post was possible.

Oni, I'm sorry, but I canot approve him. The reason is simple. "Body Alchemy" would be the ultimate sin of alchemy. If you do want to take anything from FMA (Full Metal Alchemist), then understand that creating people, or PARTS of people caused a reaction in alchemy that would cause considered harm to the alchemist, including death. So in short, this character needs to be totally rethought...

Surprisingly healthy and muscular at the age of 45. He is a testament to the daily practice of exercise and the regulation of food intake in keeping one's body clean. At 6 foot tall, his notion of a healthy body promotes a strong mind granted quicker insight to the world has led him to create revolutionary designs in the field of firearms.

He is typically armed with multiple double action revolvers chambered in his own design. 7.62x38mmT. The projectile is seated below the mouth of the cartridge, with the cartridge crimp sitting just above the bullet. When fired the crimp expands into the forcing cone, completing the gas seal and ostensibly increasing muzzle velocity by approximately 75 ft/s. This heavier hitting round only made him more quiet, as he has created a chambered tube that attaches to the front of his revolvers, which reduces the report of the weapon in all but an inaudible whispher. The loudest sound comes from the click and snap of the revolver's action.

He is also armed with a carbine using the revolver ammunition system. Reinforced at the cylinder housing, it uses the same gas-seal technology, although it is bottlenecked. The large cylinder holds 5 rounds of the 7.62x45mmT. The projectile is seated below the mouth of the cartridge, with the cartridge crimp sitting just above the bullet. When fired the crimp expands into the forcing cone, completing the gas seal and ostensibly increasing muzzle velocity by approximately 200 ft/s. Easily disassembled, the entire carbine also is designed differently. A rectangular and blocky pistol-type grip replaced the inline-stick grip, so the barrel, cylinder, and stock can be lined up in a rather straight line. While testing this design, Theodore found that it reduced recoil significantly, thus leading him to keep the rather complicated design. The carbine itself is 35.6 in long and weighs 7.5 lbs. Both weapons must be loaded one chamber at a time, through a gate in the rear on the right side. This though allows both weapons to have a threaded barrel, where a flash hider can be inserted, or one of Theodore's unique report suppressors.

Former Colonel in the Brache Empire, he retired and has been designing newer and better weapons for the Empire at his workshop in the opposite bank of the Great Salt Lake in the western desert region of the Brache Empire.
