Not much to go on here but it's worth keeping some hope alive - but take it for what it's worth it doesn't say which Japanese magazine it is.
Perhaps Bomb can shed some light?

This will be good if true. I guess it would be a good thing for them as they will have a Tales game for each next generation console. I don't know though as they would be busy enough with the other two Tales games.

Well naturally there will be one for PS3 as well. The question was when. I'm hoping it's based on Tales of the Abyss. That would be perfect.

I have the same thoughts as Athrun on the whole PS3 part. Figured it’d come, just not sure when. As with any Tales game (rumor or no), I’m having a major fangasm. Wonderful to hear, at any rate. =).

I figured PS3 would be getting it's own Tales game. If you want to play every game of Tales series this generation, you need to own all three consoles, which I plan to own in the future. I don't mind if it's another Tales game or sequel to Abyss myself, I just want another Tales game.

I've spent a lot of time on the GameFAQs forums, so I'm completely used to people bringing up the prospect of a Tales game being developed for the PS3 and then a bunch of people jumping down their throat, thus inciting some massive fanboy crap-flinging contest. It's refreshing to see the subject brought up and accepted.
Anyone who seriously thought that the PS3 wasn't getting an installment in the Tales series after Tales of Vesperia's announcement was deluding themselves. It was only a matter of time. Completely inevitable.
Though wouldn't it suck if this were true and the PS3 title was announced to be simply a Vesperia port? Wouldn't really shock me.
