OK EA, this is the last straw, you will never draw me in to another Battlefield game as long as i live. Every time you do, i buy the game, and it comes prepackaged with a slew of problems that i guess you didn't care about fixing before launch. The issues for your current installment are

1) VOIP - where do i begin? I start a squad with 2 of my friends, all three with working blu-tooth headsets. Well after one map, guess what, friend A can hear me, but we can't hear him... and this happens after almost every map, meaning you have to get out of the game (most of the time restart your PS3), come back in and reform the squad, just to go through it again.

2) Joining - OK, when i get a friend, we join a squad, and join a server, why the hell would it put us in separate squads or even worse on separate teams? This makes no sense, it really does not. All it has to do is search for a server with 2 spots open on the same squad and throw us in there, but no, it just throws us into a server on separate sides....

now dont get me wrong, the game looks good and its fun, just like every other battlefield game, but the problems it has are just stupid. And if this game follows the past games, they will come out with an update that will fix 1 thing but mess up 50 other things..

im just fed up and i had to rant... Ebay here i come..
Phisix
I tried the demo last week and it seem okay, but driving that vehicle was annoying. Nothing to great though. It felt a bit like black. The multi player/online was quite good though and being able to use and drive tanks and other vehicles to shoot and drive is a nice edition.

Other than that, I did not play it much to have a full assessment of it though, so I may have to try it again one time. Thanks for the heads up, VS.

Mmmm, haven't tried the demo yet. I don't have wireless here at my student flat, so my net is only on if i go make the effort to put the cable in tongue.gif which doesn't happen too often, since I'm kinda done with my CoD4 obsession. Have to admit, the adverts didn't impress me greatly anyway. Someone recomended this to me the other day, and I genuinely dealt the new ds tactics looked better tongue.gif so no idea when I'll check this out.
The Evil Dead
I wasn't even able to speak to anyone in the 360 version. I've no idea why, either.

I didn't like the matchmaking. The blowing up the whole gold thing is rather lame. Also the limit of 24 players sort of takes away from the real Battlefield experience. I'm used to twice that on other BF PC titles.

The game just felt like BF lite to me... Not going to be buying it. I think the two hours I spent on it on my friends 360 was enough of an experience.

The only nifty thing I could think about regarding this game was being able to destroy everything.
