hey does any one out there know the diffence between hellsing and hellsing ultimate.. PLEASE TELL ME IT IS DRIVING ME CARZY !!!!

As far as I know, Hellsing Ultimate is basically a retelling of the Hellsing story, though it more closely follows the original manga, which the original anime series didn't do as much.

No prob. I just got around to finally watching the original anime series in its entirety not too long ago, so I was interested in what the difference was as well. If I hadn't looked it up at the time, I wouldn't have known, either.

Also, thanks to Hellsing Ultimate being an OVA series, each episode varies in length, from about 35 minutes to 50 or so.

Basically Hellsing Ultimate is drawn more like the manga (Which looks amazingly) It's like alot more captivating and brings you into the anime more. With one fault. D: Which is a big one.

Along with looking like a traditional anime it has the faults of one. D:

The plot is alot more perverted, like vampire/ghoul/things have to have sex with their victim to become one of them.

And Police Girl is such an annoying ho. Dx She adds those "anime" moments in the show that are abundant in all animes. You know that moment where her eyes go huge and tiled backgrounds come in and everyone looks crappy and she says something absolutely ##### stupid in a horrible high pitched voice? Yeah, she gets more annoying than Kagome.

Other than that that's the only difference besides that Helling Ultimate's story line evolves slower than Hellsing, so they haven't even gotten all the way into the series. (Maybe halfway) Which I'm dieing to see the rest.

But yeah, that's it. =p

Well, I wonder if this Helsing Ultimate will have a more well told final arc, because the original anime just rushed through!

Also, I wonder if Schrödinger and other characters will appear...
