Here is my submission. For those who don’t recognize it, my theme is Babylon 5. The person in the middle is Delenn (a Minbari, portrayed by Mira Furlan) and the text (though I was stupid and did it in the Batman Forever font instead of the Babylon 5 Hollow, but I suppose it fits the theme of what I wanted a bit more. Oops.) is a quote from the tv series.

Anyway, hope it is alright...I might make some more minor changes before the 22nd, but nothing major.

Mine will go up on the 22nd.
It's mostly finished but it needs a few touch ups and I'm gonna be busy until Monday so I won't have time until then.
I suppose there's a good chance it will go up on Monday.
Looks like I've got tough competition though.

I ended up making two different versions of this but in the end I decided this one was better.
Perhaps I'll post the other one when I set up my own Portfolio topic.

EDIT- I forgot to mention for those who don't know, my theme is Fight Club. The stock I used is Tyler Durden (Brad Pitt).

well i voted for OST because i enjoy the smoke coming up out of OST's sig.

DB, dont really care for the mixture of colors in yours as i think it clutters up the background and i have no idea what it is behind that girl.

Sabre, yours is not bad though i think the border needs to be touched up.

Dragon Brigades appeals to me the most, while I like the border effect on OST's and, well I can't say I like Sabre's much at all.

OST's is a bit too boring for my tastes. While I do like the cigarette smoke coming out of the sig, nothing really strikes a chord with me there.

Dragon Brigade has awesome color variation and the background does look interesting, not too messy, but not too clean either. Although I don't really like the stock she chose, it goes well with the sig, so I can't complain. Although more could have been done. (like with the border, and the background, but theres no need to get into it. )

Sabre's just doesn't appeal to me at all. It strikes me as dull, as well as the stocks not really going well with the background, or anything in the piece at all. The border is also kind of half-assed.

Don't really mean to be harsh about it, but thats my two cents.

I voted for Dragon because I like all the different colours that is used. Don't know who the stock is of though.

I voted for OST. I have to admit, 60% of that decision comes from the smoke. It's clever, and it takes "thinking outside the box" just a little further. I do think the overall quality of the piece could be enhanced more.

DB's was a close second. It was far from boring, however visually it didn't appeal to me. The stock is slightly awkward, and the color application wasn't something I liked as much.

Sabre Mass, his was good but I thought it was lacking in a lot of things. I didn't understand the visuals behind the word "scrubs", and it's an extreme literal translation of "tv characters".

My vote went to DB, though I'm not sure my vote should count or not?
I like the different colours, as I said when it was first posted.
They add a good contrast and give the sig more of a vibrant look.
The text fits in very nicely with the signature and though I'm not familiar with the movie, I like the quote.
The only thing I don't like about it is the thing in the background.
The sig is too cluttered to tell what it is (for me, at least).
Overall, it is my favourite.

I liked Sabre's when I first saw it but after inspecting it closer I found many things I didn't like.
The border, for example, looks sloppy and almost... effortless?
The image also doesn't blend very well with the rest of the sig and the colour choices seem... strange?
I'll write more when I get the chance but I've got to run to work now.

Oh well, mine doesn't seem to be going over too well...

Oh, and I notice peple don't like the boarder.... As per my norm, try viewing it on a different color bg. I basically tried to make it go along with an entire "hospital theme", but that didn't seem to go over good enough, oh well! But I do have to agree, even though I touched up that boarder so many times, there are still many thing I want to do to make it better...

As for the others, I ike OST's alot. The entire idea of seing the smoke outside of the boarder is very cool. However, I do wish I saw more color. Save for Tyler, it all is... "monochrome".

Dragons... is inventive. It has a sci-fi look to it, but I wish I saw LESS colors. Or at least I wish the colors matched the stock. It is odd to see so many blended colors, and then have a character who doesn't match any of them slapped right in the middle. I agree with OST, it is too cluttered.

My vote goes to OST's. Just looks the best, is the most compact, and has the nicest effect.

DB's is not bad either but the colors looks wayy offf. I don't know it doesn't seem to mesh together.

And Sabre Mase's LOOKS nice, but the picture is just way too cliche for when I think of Scrubs. Just doesn't seem to fit.

I’m going to hand out my vote to OST as well. The smoke is really imaginative, and otherwise I do like the general background. I actually am not a fan of the sudden “colorfullness” of the stock on the right. Maybe if you saturated it or something...I think it could have been a pretty cool black/white piece, but that’s just my opinion.

Sabre’s isn’t bad, though it does seem a bit plain. I dunno. I don’t really have much else to say on it, sorry...

As for mine, I agree that it’s too cluttered. I’ve had that problem with most of my sigs when I try to do something like this. Most won’t understand what the background stocks stand for anyway unless you’re familiar with the series (top left is a Shadow vessel, behind Delenn is Babylon 5, and to her right is a Vorlon). I was originally going to use a different stock (Lyta Alexander), but then I switched it to Delenn. Not sure why, because thinking on it, the stock I had of Lyta would have been much better. Ah well. Personally I like the color scheme of mine, but I can understand how it could be too much (and with the stocks, the fact that it is way too cluttered is enhanced).

Anyway, thanks for the criticism for my piece (I might just go back to touch it up and post it in my art topic thing when I’m done). And, good job on your pieces, OST and Sabre. =).

Sorry for the late reply, because yeah, was trying to avoid a biased vote lol.

I think, I will still vote for DB, because, I know people thinks that the smoke is a brilliant I idea. But yeah. The Brilliant-ness does not cover up the rest of the sig's mistake. Tyler's Body and hair and the text seemed to be very much blurred too much just to blend with the background. Also, I don't really think the border fits the whole sig too.
Also, the theme is "real life movie title" not smoke, but we all seem to be giving more score for the smoke then the overall. Lol...

Db's one, I think is fine, the text is alright, and I really liked the golden colour feel to it. But yeah, the "red blue green magenta" is a little too... over kill the feeling to be exact. But the border looks great!

Sabre's, erm... its just not appealing Lol. I know he/she is trying to be creative but... its not appealing.
