Out of pure boredom, I decide to read the manga up to it's most recent release. From where the episode stop this week to this where the manga stop this week. All I have to say is I'm glad I did. I don't think I want to wait for the anime to take ages to catch up with the manga series. Damn, Bleach gets really interesting.

Anyway, I'll black text my thoughts on the manga so far. This would really spoil those people only watch the anime.

I'm freaking shocked that Aizen was the master behide all the events that took place. Who the hell would have figure that out? This came out of no where. I didn't see it coming. I thought he was wasted by the obvious villian Aizen, but in truth, Gin is nothing more than solider serving under Aizen. Aizen is so freaking cool for playing everyone. Nobody except Gin and Kaname knew who Aizen really was. Aizen is indeed intelligent and also extremely strong. He wasted Ichigo, Renji, Hitsugaya, Hinamori and Komamura with little easy. We all thought Hitsugaya was strong? He didn't look all that great against Aizen, did he?

I really like this plot twist. I didn't see this one coming at all. Of course, they probably should have mention this goverment body earlier, but nonetheless, this was very well done. Luring you to believe Gin is the truth villian, it was obvious, then figuring out that the man investing him was the true villian. He even played Hitsugaya. I guess Aizen really is the master!

I suggest if you like Bleach, read the manga. Because who knows when the anime will reach this point. This is best part so far in Bleach.


Miyuri, as I told you many times. He might look as cool as the other captains, but he's one sick bastard. He makes an excellent villian. Just try to guess who he's going to fight. I think we all figure that he's going to find one of the characters.

Also, I'm going with the 5th Division, Aizen and Momo, for next week episode feature ending. Or, the 9th Division.

Hmm, so it looks like the bleach series have got a long way to go then. Maybe I should go through the manga's . How far ahead ARE they anyways roughly, episode wise.

You don't see much of Chad later either. I won't say exactly, but let's say you won't be seeing much action from him. If the anime flows the manga, then you'll see how him and Ichigo became friends in a couple more episodes. Most people that will be getting the action from the team soon is Ishida and Ichigo. Mostly Ichigo for obviouse reasons.


I would say a good 30-40. That's my estimation.

Soul Society Arc is very long. I expect the next Arc to be about Aizen and company. No doubt that's far from over, or something more involving the world of the Hollows.

Well, Bleach 30 and chapter 177 is out.

I watched Bleach 30 a few days ago. I think the anime is making good time catching up with manga. This Renji vs Ichigo fight should be one to two episode long. Not the best fight, but it's a pretty good fight. The real fights are going to start real soon in the anime.

As for the manga, pretty much setting up for a big chapter 178, or that's what I think at least. Aizen, Tousen and Gin are corned by all the power of the Soul Society, but Aizen is still smiling as him he's still wondering. We'll see why he's so cocky in chapter 178 without a doubt. Man, I wish manga translation were released faster. I really want to see what happens next. Manga is getting really good.

The manga didn't show any signs of Naruto Complex, so don't worry. The fights will get better than this one and this one was good, so expect more things in the future episodes. Well, from what I read at least, it didn't end up like how Naruto is right now.

No, not pointless. They want to cover some background on the characters. It's not all about Ichigo and company. This episode will give reasons to Renji's actions in the future. This episode isn't pointless, but don't expect any action at all.

I suspect they drag this fight on, but they cover this fight in one episode and made it good still. Bleach is moving along well. I'm sure it's moving along much better than Bleach from what I've seen so far.

Read the manga and that's more than enough. It's dragging every damn fight and it's getting on my nerves. But I still download them and watch anyway.

Yes, the manga gets REALLY interesting. Trust me. You'll be amazed by what happens and about the plot behind everything. Muwahaha.

Well, the anime is getting it's first filler episode this week on something entirely pointless, but meh, I guess they're going to start stalling like Naruto. I would prefer a filler episode about the past of some of the captains and vice-captains, you know? That would be a good spoiler.

Renji vs Ichigo fight only lasted for one entire episode. Begin around last 5 minutes of another episode and end in one episode. If I recall correctly, the manga took 4 to 5 chapters to finish the fighting. Geez, I wonder how long the *Ken-chan v.s Ichigo fight will be...?*

Read Volume 8, and just saw epi 5. Something tells me I've got a lot of catching up to do. Volume 8 ends with the group getting ready to head into the soul society, chapter 190-something. I'm liking the way this is going, but apparently, the last epi released was horrible.

The anime looks fairly identical to the manga. Right down to the fight scenes (I got bored the other day, and followed a fight scene, watching the anime, and reading the manga, at the same time. So sue me), which surprises me. Most manga to anime translations aren't done that well.

Actually, this side story was include in the manga in bits and pieces. It was ok, but I would prefer continue the main plot.

Yes, the ending did sucked. That's one of my least favorite divisions. Geez, when Aizen's division going to be shown? The story about to pick up in the anime. The main plot where Ichigo is trying to save Rukia is pretty much where the anime is. Now, you'll get into Soul Society plot involving the captains and vice-captain. It will be getting very interesting.

Manga: (Spoilers)

*I read chapter 178 and 179 a few days ago. Good stuff. I expect Hollows to be involved. Aizen, Gin and Tousen retreating with Hollows was a bit expected. The connect as to why the Hollows are helping them hasn't been revealed. Soul Society part of Bleach is over. Probably the search for Aizen beings in the manga.

Though, I didn't expect Rukia's sister use to be married to Byakuya. Byakuya tore between his promise to his sister and devoted to the Kuchiki Family. At least they gave a good reason why he saved her. Look odd if they had a completely weak one, because he wanted to kill her a few minutes before that.*

Seems I'll have to check the manga...I knew it was fishy since that was the second reference...I can't wait to find out just how powerful Ichigo really is.

Oh second question does he ever turn his soul slayer back to its normal sword length? And third do you think he will ever get a cool move (as in Renji (SP) and his sword that extends out? Or the member of 11th clan that had the three piece spear?)

His sword design doesn't change that much from the current design you see.


He will obtain a ''cool move'' for himself later on. I can assume everyone is smart enough to know that Ichigo is about to fight Ken-chan. He will use some over powering moves during this fight, but it's the next real fight where he moves a special move.

Well, the Bleach manga introduced a brand new character. Here's some images from the latest manga chapter.





His smile reminds me of Gin. Not sure what his reason for being around or even attacking Ichigo was yet, but a giant Hollow appear around the end of the latest chapter, so after a couple of weeks of boring chapter, Bleach should start picking up again.

The anime should be getting a new closing next week. This should be the last time with see the current closing. The 13th Division should be feature. If you haven't read the manga, then you'll be surprised who the vice-captain of the 13th Division is and who he really looks like. Not sure if the opening will change though...

MAN, I still haven't seen either 45 or 46...Cause my Cousines DL thema nd then they share'em with me...and I haven't seen them since last week, so...

Anyways, Things DID get outta control...it's Totally Amazing.... By Reading the Manga, I'm already done with the Soul Society Part..

WHOA, that Shinigami-Hollow thing is real cool...I dunno, Vizards I think they're called....The Idea of Making Ichigo that way is Insane...that Hollow Inside him...I mean, when He was in the middle of his Fight with Kenpachi, and he meets Zangetsu for the Second time... after his battle with Himself, That white guy tells Zangetsu to train him well, cause all that will belong to him one day....I was really still wondering about it...Now it makes sense...but...WOW....I Can't even imagine what's gonna happen Next... I mean, seriously...Does ANYONE has an Idea of how that'll turn out??


Man, i can't wait to watch all that on screen AND to read what happens next....

Finally caught up in manga. Chapter 193 wasn't released too long ago. Ichigo began his fight against [SPOILER] men in this chapter. Looking pretty cool until the Hollow inside Ichigo want to come out. The big retard looking dude goes on the offense then when Ichigo having problem keeping the Hollow in. Two familar people appear at the end of the chapter.

Chapter 199 is fan-service to the max. You'll see an interesting scene between Inoue and Rangiku, who is completely nude. Entertaining to say the least. In short, the calm before the storm. Grimmjow, a new Allankar introduce in Chapter 198, has arrived on the scene along with a 5 other Allankar.

Anime Spoiler

"Ichirin no Hana" by High and Mighty Color and "Life" by YUI. Good ending, but I was expecting much better. Life is a very welcome replacement to "Happy People" by Skoop on Somebody. I was expecting far better from High and Mighty Color, who did Pride for Gumdan Seed DESTINY. Anyway, still a welcome change.

Most anime series are predictable. Bleach is no expection, but you might be surprised about what's going to happen in the next few episodes. This is when Bleach get really good. Many twist and turn are about to come up, so just try to predict what's going to happen.

Kenpachi and Renji should be killed off because...? No real valid reason why they should be killed off. Though, I will admit Bleach is pulling the same crap that Naruto did. Not killing off main characters. I still found it was absolute joke that Neji and Chouji survived. Like wise, Bleach will do the same thing in the near future. I won't mention which character will be nearly killed, IMO, should have been killed, in the near future.

Catching up to the manga. Thank heavens Urahara finally appeared. He's deathly significant, yet gets so little exposure

I love the new arc, but I hope it won't be as long as the Soul Society arc ^^;

I'm not sure if Shiba's a noble house. From what I know, I think they're just infamous.

You really do not see much of the fight between Genryuusei vs Kyourak + Ukitake. The next episodes should focus on the Byakuya v.s Ichigo. Everything does not get full coverage in the manga like that fight. The fight between Kenpachi v.s Komamura is over since Komamura ran off to help Genryuusei. You'll see Komamura in the near future. A few fights will begin soon, but they won't be much the real surprise of the series is about to happen after the Byakuya and Ichigo fight.

If you read chapter 201, then I don't need to say much about the manga. I find it pretty ridiculous how powerful Rukia's Soul Slayer is. But, whatever, I thought she would be around the power of Chad, not this powerful. She can release her soul slayer, I wonder if she has bankai, unless what I saw in the manga was her bankai.

No, I don't think it was her Bankai. Most of the Bankais take on the form of a familiar. I'd think Rukia's would most certainly have that aspect to it. If she doesn't have her BanKai, it would explain why she isn't a captain, but I suppose there could be another reason to it.

Reading all those replies about how Pathetic Hitsugaya was, Dying like that....c'mon everyone, u must be used to Bleach style battles by now....How many times have we thought somone dead and they turned out not so....

Hmmm, actually now that I think of it...has ANYONE died so far??? O_o

ANYWAYS, I haven't seen the ep. yet, but sounds like it's the one I've been waiting for a LOOOONG time now...really excited about watching it...

I JUST FINISHED Ch. 207 last Night....DID THAT GUY just KILL OFF the little girl of Urahara's store???? I mean...what was that Power she used anyways?? My guess wud be hat she also has to do with some of Urahara's Expiriments...and I'd guess that she Ain't dead either, but there's another level of hidden power with in her...Altho it really DOES seem that she's dead, but I hope not....

Furthermore, just watching all the Soul Society ppl struggling with these guys...it's just scary..... Rukia's Down, Matsumoto's Down, Hitsugaya and Renji are both ALMOST down (Is that ur Bankai level).... However, Ikkaku...let's just say, i've always liked him, but never expected him to be THAT bad ass....I mean, HIS BANKAI is awsome...he's got Style...and also, the fact that HE taught Renji and the he cud be captain if he wanted to...and also, he's Done with the guy he was fighting....

Chapter 221, it was pretty expected that Ichigo would win the fight against his inner hollow but boy I didn't know Kenpachi had to randomly appear out of this one. It's just like having a nightmare and then,"oh yea, I woke up." *stab* "yay I'm the king" lol. I'm looking forward to him using the hollow skills though, however, I'm more curious about how he'll deal with the "Group" now. It seems like they neglected Quincey boy too.

With so many characters, it's only expected that some of them will get pushed into the backseat, at least for a while. Hey hey, Tatsuki's character has been gathering dust for 200 chaps now, but she's been foreshadowed to be spiritually strong too. And Keigo, who would have thought? XD

Kubo Taito has proven to manage his characters well, tho. Ishida will come around. .

I guess the latest Chapter answered all ur concerns regarding Ishida

Other than that, i guess there's a whole new arc on the way...about the Key and all that, And I guess we'll soon enough see lots of action, with Inoue's "Superior" powers and Sado's Hollow Powers (Just guessing here, but COME ON, what else could it be??). However, Ichigo is still pretty weak, I mean, he can only hold his Hollow form for 4 seconds, COME ON, man....

I can see this getting both Much better, and much worse....I just hope it gets better

Anyways I'm curious about Nell, she seem to be able to swallow a cero and burp it back. I don't think most arrancars have that ability, judging by Mr Bull-san's reaction. I wonder what relation she has to Aizen or the plot. I doubt the mangka would create a character randomly out of the desert. Any takers to solve the question? xD

I think Nell, along with her brothers, are all Failed Ankar (spelling) who just seem to have weird abilities, like, drolling on people to heal them =x

I caught fully up with the manga just recently.

I also trying to catch up with the anime. Despite how he'll finish, the filler plot wasn't bad. It started off slow, but got much better as it moved along. Not to mention you got to see a couple of people fight that you normally won't see fight during the actual plot.

I guess I never paid attention lol. I delete them after they start building up.

Starting to get behind in the manga now although I'm not sure I should keep reading now that the fillers have ended >_>.

The manga did. I'm not too surprised myself. People will be surprised if they watch the movie, but it's not a huge shocker. Who thought Rukia would remain weak?

DayDreamer, I just caught up recently. Though, I allow Bleach manga to build up. To catch up, I had to reach 15 chapters. That's much better than reading a chapter every week. Get too boring. But, yeah, I won't bother with the manga if you're into the anime. I might just skip the manga once it's catch up with the anime.

What's the difference between Arrancar and Vaizards?

Arrancar's are Hollows, who have become shinigami, as in obtaining a sword, and different transformations and such.
Vaizards as far as we know, are people who became Shinigami the way Ichigo did, after his soul chain was cut by Bakyaya and Renji. By, fighting his Hollow self. So, It seems Vaizards are still humans, or a differn't race entirely, who have a hollow within them, just like Ichigo, except they control it and have all the power, unlike ichigo, who is constantly fighting the hollow within.


Summary, Arrancar=Hollows who took off their masks to obtain a sowrd/become shinigami's however you want to say it.
Vaizards= Shinigami/People with powers of a shinigami who have a hollow within

I was looking forward to this episode showing Yoruichi kicking some arancar butt, but it was censured badly.




His face was bent like a C from her powerful kick in the manga, while in the anime it somehow became a punch and he just spat some saliva.



She did actually kick too but it looked like this. Weak.







And her final kick just kicked him and made him colapse on the ground. In the manga it pounded him right through the ground. How lame.
And Ichigo choping off the arm was censured too.

Like in any anime/videogame, a mask wearing villain has a familar face, 100 times out of 100.
It's Kaien Shiba. That was quite a surprise though.

For the manga, those who don't know

Kaien Shiba was the Guy in Soul society who Rukia was in love with.

He Was married, and was a Captain.

He was sent off to attack a Hollow who had killed many, he got taken over by the Hollow, and rukia was forced to kill him.

That Hollow was one of Aizens early experiments.

But it seems he isn't dead, or, his soul is still alive, and now seems to be an Anncar, if that is him.

Anyway, i've no clue what will happen in the next chapter, can't wait for it *giggles*

I don't think I need to mention Kaien Shiba and Ichigo looked so alike, the difference is only their hair color. And tell you what, I predict Kaien Shiba is Ichigo's long lost brother.

If that really was Kaien Shiba, then i have some questions. Anncar are Hollows to shinigami right, but he was a shinigami, who became a hollow, so, a Viazard, but he died, or so we thought, so maybe he became a hollow then? Anyway, i am thinking there is a chance the current 10 Anncar, could all possibly be, Fallen SHinigami, but, this also dispells everything that has been said about them. So lets say, He IS a Vizard, maybe, he is just following Aizen for some weird reason.

Hmm, I think Viazards are Shinigami who are still Shinigami but have a Hollow within them.
In this guy's case, if he actually is Kaien Shiba then he must have become a hollow completely first. It might be that whether you were a shinigami or human before you die doesn't matter if you become a hollow. But I don't know, I hope they explain it later. It could be that he is just another Ichigo lookalike, as you said. But I'm betting that it's Kaien.

Yeah, I'm thinking it's him to. and I'm also thinking it's like a human, if your killed by a hollow, you become one, even if you are a shinigami. but, that'd be cool if he was a Vizard too, and he just took his mask off at the ed of the chapter

I don't remember it, but has Kaien Shiba being mentioned as one of the 10 Arancars ? But I'm 100% sure it's him, not someone else in disguise. Whether he is a Viazard or Arancar, we will see.

Yeah, if you get killed by a hollow, you become hollow. Shinigamis are no exception. I think this was explained already, don't remember which chapter, gotta check that.

Didn't kaien, technically, become one of the first Arrancar after being attacked by Aizen's hollow? It did fuse with him, I believe. But I highly doubt thats Shiba Kaien, just the body and the hollow, if anything at all.

The last anime episode did some thing a little worrying in changing all the blood into spit for some reason. It would be a little annoying if they sensor them selves in that way, will make a lot of the fight seems rather silly too.

On the manga
Really wondering how they are going to get every one out of this alive, it is going to take quite a bit of effort at this rate. Sado is already in a mess and I don't really see how any of the others are strong enough to help him

I read ome things from the new chapter. That Arancar that fights Sado claims that he is "the strongest of the Espada." I'm not taking that as in he is #1 though. Probably more of an arogant claim.
And the Espada who removed his mask, it seems he is who we thought he was. He said "you've improved" after he attacked her.

New episode is out as well.

They can't be Arancar as far as I know. An Arancar is a hollow that removes their mask. But I guess they could become Vaizards. Right now they are in command of the Arancars in the Espada. Though Gin and Tousen are weaker than the Espada, the arancars cannot disobey them in fear of Aizen, or in some cases, out of respect for Aizen.

Man, I hope ichigo dosen't defeat all of these baddies, D: Because Shinigami fights bore me sometimes. (ICHIGO usually)

That's not likely. They're too strong for them at this point. And even if it somehow got down to that, Aizen wouldn't let that happen. Maybe they'll take out one or two, but there seems to be plenty of replacements for the Espada, waiting to get a # between 1 - 10.

But there's a possibility that they turned themselves to hollow first and thus becoming Arancar. Just blabbing. =p

No that would make them Viazards however there power new or lack of it has not been touched on, just there new clothing. So we will have to wait and see if any thing has happened to them.

Well I think 1llz means they turn into a hollow first by being killed by one, and then turning into an Arancar, like Kaien.

If that really is what happened to Kaien, still other things that new Arancar could be it must be a failed experiment. As Azien would have had to of known about it for a while now and could have just acted on that. I am also wonder about what is really going on as they did have a body to bury that is normally a good sign that some one is gone for good

But... it doesn't quite feel that way. In the volume where Grimmjaw clashed with Ichigo for the first time and was ordered back by Tousen, Tousen slashed off Grimmjaw's arm fast enough that Grimmjaw couldn't block it... right? And I thought the Arrancar's skin is like... thick? And he didn't even shikai or bankai or what. But I could be wrong. I still think they became Vizards.
