Okay for those of you who haven't seen the trailer, WALL.E is a computer animated movie about a little robot called WALL.E who is left to clean up the earth while everyone else stays on a space ship.
Sounds odd right? Like its gonna be some educational kids movie teaching children to recycle and such. But let me tell you....

Its so much more than that!!!

Trailer 2

I watched this movie last night, and I have to say it has been straight away bumped up to the top of my favourite movies list. Its such a cute and romantic film, but its really funny as well.
I was laughing almost the whole way through - I say almost because the rest of the time i spent going AWWWW because WALL.E is just so adorable <3.

I can tell I am not going to be doing a good job advertising this to the guys on this forum, but really this is such a good movie. The story is really good and the music is to match, and at points the graphics are just beautiful =).

I really recommend everyone to see this movie. I really wanna watch it again already haha!

Wall-E is a good movie. Not the best like Finding Nemo, but it is my 2nd favorite movie by Disney/Pixar. Love the love story and at the same time a message on saving the earth from pollution.
Pesmerga
Finding Nemo? Hahahaha.

If any, Wall.E is one of their better movies.

Not a big fan of Pixar myself, but this was an entertaining movie, as it provided several aspects into 1 movie. Which is a good thing.

I’ve seen a couple trailers for this in the theaters, but I haven’t gotten around to seeing it yet (my family’s seen most other Pixar movies in theaters, like Finding Nemo and Ratatouille). My brother actually got the soundtrack yesterday and it’s pretty nice. Not sure if I’ll get a chance to see this in theaters (my Mom already said she didn’t really want to, and The Dark Knight is coming up so we’re saving our money for that), but I’ll probably rent it sometime with my sister or something. She said she’d wanted to see it. Didn’t look too bad though. Family-friendly film.

I've heard a lot of people rant about this movie, but I don't know.

I get the impression it would turn out to be those children's movies where the romance is sappy and sickeningly sweet. (I love my romances bittersweet and realistic kthnx.) But I have yet to see it, so I wouldn't know yet. Whether I gag or not, will be said later on. <:D
Nocinderella
I saw a trailor for this today and surprisingly, I want to see it smile.gif I'm more into classic disneys, comedies and guy movies (the ones WITHOUT all the boobies) so pixar movies don't rate too high with me. But this could be an exception, due to it's originality (yes I know there have bee robot movies, but this seems more creative) and overall cuteness appeal, just gotta find someone to watch it with me sad.gif
Pesmerga
Well, there is a reason that it got high rates on metacritic and rotten tomatoes. =P

THEY DON'T DECIDE ON WHAT I LIKE

I LIKE WHAT I WANT.

But in all seriousness, I have heard a lot of good things about it. I also don't have anyone to watch it with, since a few of my friends already have seen it either with their boyfriends/girlfriends or families. )': Although I did hear it was the type of movie that you should see with your significant other........which does not bode well with me. SAPPY ROMANCES = NO THNX. T__T
Pesmerga
Haha, they don't decide what anyone likes, but it gives you the idea that it is generally seen as one of their better movies. I think out of 170+ reviews on RT, it currently has 86%, which is a very good rating, especially on RT. I think Metacritic has an even higher score, last time I checked, it was 94.

Not telling you that you have to like it, haha =P.

It's a joke, mang.

And besides, I actually check rotten tomatoes for reviews sometimes, so that'd be hypocritical of me. I was just kidding around because, you know, "I DO WHAT I WANT. I ROLL WITH GANGS."

...unless you've never heard of that joke. :s But the caps should've said something about it.

Can I just ask how you were able to watch it when it's not out in the UK yet? D/L? xD

rotten tomatoes tells me nothing! and everyone's a critic these days so meh.

Not that I'm saying WALL.E is a bad film since I have yet to see it, but SO many of my friends want to drag me to see it in the cinemas once it's out x_x. I've been told it's supposed to be the new E.T of this generation so I'll most likely catch it this week.

When I first heard about it seemed more like a home-DVD film for me, but seeing some trailers and ads at the cinemas (when I went to see other films) it does seem interesting and maybe worth a cinemas-screen view.

I agree, usually movies I like are slated on there, like most of the time, so I generally disagree with them most of the time. However, this is my first movie that I like that gets good reviews. Not just on RT and MC, but generally everywhere.

It is truly a very entertaining movie and in my opinion Pixar's best work yet.

Huh... I've gotten mixed reviews now... some people I know wasn't happy with it, and here some are... *shrugs* I personally don't have that "Ohh Emm Eff Gee see it now!" feeling. That, and I can't help but think WALL.E is some future relative of Johnny 5 o0

I would actually say it's a tie. Plus, Wall-E's actions in the movies are hilarious AND awesome. I got a kind of "Hey-look-what-I-can-do!" feel like that of an awkward child at points. It made me laugh. Plus it hit on so many points that needed to be hit on.
- The Human Condition
- Annoying hanger-on wanabe-boyfriends vs. caring-yet-goofy guys who are trying to get your attention
- Breaking from the norm
- Many others

Plus the humor at points was just great and put in at an almost random point, which only made it funnier. And the graphics, as always, were top-notch. The dust trails, and shine of metal, the fire effects, and even how certain objects acted in space were pretty dead on.

Now whether or not you like these kinds of movies is your perogotive, but I would recommend this movie, simply because it is a good pick-me-up if you are feeling down, simply due to the humor.

Oh! And as for this...
