Anyways as some of you may or may not know Super Stardust HD is the first game to receive "Trophies". The "Trophies" are just like "Achievements" in XBL except you get a little image of it instead of points these "Trophies" also give you experience which helps you level up like you would an RPG. Well, I've created this thread for people who have trouble getting a certain "Trophy" to get some tips. A couple "Trophies" are not easy to get because there is a certain trick to them. I'm missing only 3 "Trophies" so I can give some good advice if anyone needs some help. Anyways here are some tips via Youtube that I found for two tricky "Trophies".

Extra Ships Optional - Endless Survive 7 minutes without dying - Endless mode (Need to buy Add-on):

Token Hoarder - Collect 15 Tokens in one boost - Arcade mode:

Shield Blaster - Collect 5 Shields while still having one - Arcade mode:
First thing you need to do is play Arcade mode on Easy because shield tokens seem to appear more often. The requirement seems misleading, but you don't need to get 5 shields in a row as long as you get them while still already having a shield. So you can get your first shield and then get two more shields, but you eventually lose your shield. So the count towards the requirement is 2. You then get another shield and 3 extra shields. Now your count is 5 and viola you get the "Shield Blaster Trophy".

I should have bought the game when it first launched (it was actually cheaper for the first week). The achievements don't seem too hard ( I unlocked 3-4 of them in an hour), but I'm sure they'll get more difficult (none seem as hard as survive 1 million in Geometry Wars). Can't state enough how much fun the game really is. I saw that you also got to Level 2 on the trophies. Very nice. When are the other games getting there achievements?

I heard that it only takes half a day to patch a game for Trophies. The creative aspect of the ideas behind the conditions need to be thought out, but besides that I don't see anything stopping companies from patching their games with Trophies whenever.

AnimePaul is the Add-on worth it? it's 5 bucks and seems like it only adds those modes and a couple of trophies. Is there anyway to look at the friends highscores? I was able to beat the entire game on easy without dieing once (had 12 lives by the end of the game) and scored 81+ million. Got ranked in the 3,000s(on easy). The achievements are really easy to get on Easy mode. The only one that took me some time to figure out was the get 15 tokens. I think the only one that I need to get(without having the add-on) is that gold one with co-op split screen.

The Solo Add-on adds a few new modes like Bomber where you only have bombs no boost or weapons, Endless where you try to see how long you will last against an endless wave of asteroids and enemies, Survival where you only have one life and you are scored by how long you are alive not by your score, Time Attack is self explanatory. To look at my score compared to yours or any other of your friends who have played Stardust just go to High Scores in the main menu and press triangle. The "Brothers in Arms" Trophy can only be obtained after you buy the second Add-on which adds 2 player split screen. The second add-on was pulled after the 2.40 debacle and hasn't been put back up since.

The thing that annoys me is that when I bought the add-on it took like 5 secs to finish downloading which led me to suspect that I downloaded an unlock code to unlock these modes which were already in the game.

The hardest Trophy to get is "Late Boomer" because you have to rely on luck for the majority of the time to be able to get it.
