So I was having a chat with one of my friends about old TV shows we used to watch as a kid. Boy, was it intense. *____*

What are some of the older tv shows that you used to watch, but are no longer currently aired? Also, I'm sure that the special intranets nowadays has tv shows that don't air anymore...but humor me eh? <:D
Dragon Brigade
Hmm...Digimon Seasons 1 and 2. That's probably it. I don't watch too much television. xD. The only other thing would be Babylon 5, but I have the boxed sets so it doesn't matter if it still airs (though I think reruns are on the sci-fi channel still...). The only things I miss are probably some of those older cartoons. Beyond that I paid absolutely no attention to tv...

And I have never been able to find the boxsets for those!

TV shows? Lets see: Sonic AM and Airwolf. Good shows. Sonic AM never had an end, which sucks.

The only ones I can find are bootlegs on eBay, but I don't think I'd trust the buyers, haha. xD. Wish I could find complete sets for them though. All that I could find (and bought, actually) was Season 1 Ep. 1-13. *sigh*

when i was little i used to watch "King Arthur & The Knights of Justice" and incredible show for its time, its over ten 12 years old by now since i was like 10 or 11 when i watched it. But i think it was canned after season one or maybe it was only meant to be one season.

some of the knights had really awesome armor

I buy some bootlegs and they are fine. I saw a Digimon season 1 bootleg a few years ago, but I had no money, and when I did, it was gone. So I got Evangelion instead. If you ever find them, let me know please. sad.gif

I haven't searched for the seasons on eBay in ages, but if I ever hear anything on them (bootleg or not) I can shoot off a PM. =). Chances are good I wouldn't have the money to buy it myself anyways. =p.

MacGyver, and maybe Alf.

Digimon 1 and 2 were intense. *o* I still have some eps on videocassette from when I was obsessed with recording every episode since Pokemon was airing at the exact same time. (##### WB and FOX. D: ) I really do miss the series a lot.

I used to love the New Adventures of Johnny Quest. That show was such a mindtrip, I swear I wanted to cry a little for everytime I watched that show. But it was awesome, and the opening was so epic for its time.
Kronik
One was the best season, I don't know two just took it somewhere I didn't want to go.

Andy Richter Controls The Universe.
Reboot.
Beast Wars.
Recess.
Duck Tales.
Darkwing Duck.
Rocko's Modern Life.
Invader Zim.
Looney Tunes.
Baby Looney Tunes.
Blossom. (Just for the sake I haven't seen it in for ##### ever)
Family Matters.
Just Shoot Me.
The PJ's.
Futurama.
Markies
God, I loved Andy Richter Controls The Universe. That show was so imaginative and creative that it is such a shame that it was canceled.

The one I miss the most is The Critic. A 90's cartoon starring Jon Lovitz as Jay Sherman with so many film parodies. It was created by some early Simpsons writers, so you know it was classic and hilarious.

Also, I miss my Dawson's Creek. thatsuck.gif
FlameGeneralSeed
I miss Titus.
That was a great show.
But they took it off the air cause it was getting 'too dark'.
That's bull.

I also miss A Minute With Stan Hooper.
I love just about anything with Norm McDonald in it.

Also, WHOSE LINE IS IT ANYWAY!!
I wish that show didn't get canceled.
Ryan+Colin=Amazing!

From my childhood He-Man and The Masters Of The universe to me there was no cartoon series that even came close, not Thundercats, Ninja Turtles or whatever He-Man was the ultimate Hero for me growing up.

Loved loved loved Ryan, definitely the funniest, especially with Colin.
The 1st seasons of Pokemon and Digimon.
The Last of the Summer Wine. I remember watching it with my dad, I really liked it but my memories of it now are extremely vague.
Mr Bean. The Christmas episode was always my favourite... (damn American spell-check trying to make me take the 'u' out of favourite... /end rant)
Speed Racer.

Lols?! I totally did not know that show got cancelled. I thought it was still a running thing. Baw, network television disappoints. D: I really liked this show too though. It was just silly and the way they adapted to the prompts were really humorous.

On that note, I really miss Arrested Development. :\ It was such a funny show and I absolutely loved the character of Buster. The humor was just spot on and perfect.

Homicide: Life on the Street. Granted, I am glad the series got to end properly, but I feel it never got the coverage or attention it deserved. Much better than Law and Order and anything CSI can pull.

Titus is another. ##### hilarious show, see to have seen it ended so soon.

The Saturday Morning Sonic Cartoon. I am aware is was a children's show, but God did I love it. I remember holding out for a year or so for the next season before I realized it was never going to happen. It ended at what could have possibly been the most interesting part of the series.

Ally Macbeal

Rocko's Modern Life

That's So Raven

My Wife and Kids

Well if we're talking about all shows and not just kids shows then I miss

Stargate SG1 - Although they've made two TV movies to tie up loose ends
Robin Of Sherwood - The best adaptaion of the Robin Hood legends ever much better than that cheesy crap that's on now and that bloody Kevin Costner film.

Two good shows that never saw a second season
Journeyman
Daybreak

I Majorly agree. I've been addicted to this show latley. We were watching it the other night and rolling around the floor laughing. I don't say this about many shows, but I think it actually got funnier when it went to America.

There are a couple of random shows that I miss, they were never popular and I doubt anyone has heard of them but they used to get shown at random times in the morning, and when my insomnia was bad they were the highlight of my week. You imagine laying in the dark staring at a wall for 5 odd hours (or watching crappy TV for 5 hours) and then you might appreciate why I love them so much... and those shows are The Opposite Sex and Off-Center.

The Opposite sex was an odd one, it had a bunch of people who are now famous (and have all been in superhero movies/series...) but this cliché teen comedy-drama was short lived. Such a shame.

And Off centre was great, ok that's not really that true because there was only really one character in it who tipped the show into awesomeville... and that was Chau... played by John Cho (Harold and Kumarr). The rest of the show wasn't really that great (not bad) but they made his character just plain awesome.

I hated that I enjoyed digimon... well... the first season at least... am I a bad person?

Dead Like Me- Quite possibly the best show ever made. It had everything, good story, great characters, amazing and delicious black humour, drama. Hell it make me cry and guffaw in the same half hour

Young Americans- I dont know if you guys caught this one, it was a spinoff from Dawson. I dont know if the show was actually that great and maybe in my mind it was that awesome because of the point in my life were I was at, my teenage years, so i could sort of relate to the show. Also it had a fantastic intro song

The Opposite Sex (mentioned by Flamers)- This one starred Milo Vertimgilia (or however the ##### thats spelled, its the dude that plays Peter Petrelli), the dude that plays the Human Torch and the chick that plays the blonde hobbit friend in Smallville, and much like YAmericans it was also about High schools and the relationships between teens and ##### so it hit home to me. Also had a great into song. I love this one, sadly it only lasted a few episodes.

Grosse Point - This was a parody show to mock Dawson Greek and all those type of shows, it featured the behind the scenes of a teen drama show and damn was it fun as hell.

What can I say, this was such an epic anime.

Thunder, thunder, thundercats! Because it is true.

Transformers G2. Am I the only one that prefers G2 over G1?

This show was hilarious. Then entire cast had good moments, but Chau (John Cho) was so amazing, it is ridiculous. "Read the WALL! Chau RULES!"

Another show I thoroughly enjoyed.

I'm gonna go with cartoons because I don't remember watching much else. <.< I was a Nickelodeon Nerd.

2 Stupid Dogs, Chip and Dale Rescue Rangers, Darkwing Duck, Duck Tales, DOUG, Pinky and the Brain, Rocko's Modern Life, Rocky and Bullwinkle, Secret Squirrel, Tale Spin, Animaniacs was okay sometimes. I Didn't like the Kenan and Kel Tv show, but Good Burger was the #####.

And like I said, didn't watch much that wasn't cartoons, because I was a kid of course. <.< Law and Order was the only other show I watched. Dx

It was the first Toonami cartoon that I enjoyed, boy do I miss that. Oh and yes they should've re-run Samurai Jack more often, I really hope interest picks up again and a continuation to the series is made.

There's coming a third one too, if all goes well. It's supposed to bring together very many of the previous cast, from what I've heard. Granted, if it happens to begin with.

Yeah, I read about that, I hope it happens I'm a huge fan of the series and Continuum was great. I have to admit I'm enjoying Atlantis too.
