We all know people have their little quirks and mannerisms and slightly different ways of living. So what is it about you that you think makes you a little "different" from other people? Do you insist on eating a Reese's peanut butter cup a certain way? Do you have to have the toilet paper rolled a certain way? What are little quirks and things about you and your life? :D

Hmm...I always eat my pizza starting at the crust, so I get grief for that sometimes (even though it's commonplace in Europe, but I guess I'm just not being a true American here.). On hot days I tend to wear multiple layers of clothing, but when it's really cold out I'll ditch the long sleeves. And I'm usually really quiet. Whenever I go somewhere, people keep asking me how I can just sit in a chair absolutely quiet for hours and not get bored. The only other thing would be that I never like to pull my hair back, so people near me think I'm weird for that too.

*shrugs*. I dunno. There are probably other things, but I can't think of them off the top of my head. I guess those are some of my weird mannerisms.

I wear my beanie like everywhere, all the time, regardless of the weather XD its became a curse actually. I got in the habit of wearin git, then it was kinda my thing, then when i tried to get rid of it people were like "no way". XD Some may find that weird i guess, but its my trademark XD

Lols, when I have to sort through anything or look through stuff, I can't stand starting at the beginning. In example, when I go shopping and I have to look through racks, I always start from the back of the store, and the very end of the rack. (Usually the right part.) Or when I look for books, I can't stand starting at the letter "A", but I have to start with the letter "Z", or whatever is last.

I also never brush my hair. It's just something I dislike doing. So when I wake up, I just wake up and go about my day with messy wavy hair.

I put ketchup on a lot of things and I also do this with lemon and tabasco sauce. I eat pizza with ketchup and put lemon and tabasco on rice.

I wear different colognes related to my clothes.

Apparently, I am pretty gay friendly. Like I like stuff gay people mostly like. i think this is just other people just being ignorant. There is no rule on me having Hedwig and the Angry Inch as one of my favourite movies of all time and having to be gay.

I take the most out of way routes to get to places when driving.

I hate whiskey.

I have peculiar taste in women. My friend says I am only attracted to really hot chicks but he is wrong, I can like a girl thats not that attractive a lot. Like for instance, i love the slightly chubby, cute round face type. And sometimes I may like girls who are not technically that attractive. On the other side, i can not like girls other guys find incredibly attractive.

I bought a raincoat without a hoodie. I bought it because its stylish as #####.

I talk louder than most people and in places where people wouldn't expect it.
I stop on red when I can turn right if there are cars behind me, and turn right without any reservations if there are none.
I also have this tendency to go everywhere the long way.
I usually don't mind standing in long lines in place of impatient people and then bring them whatever the hell they wanted, sometimes with my own money. I don't know why.
Also have this tendency to apologize even if I don't want to.

Some people call me a little bitch for the latter two, actually.
The others call me crazy for the first three.
I think both are overreactions.

Uhhh...odd manerisms? I don't know, when I grew up I used to wear a black hoody everywhere I went no matter what season. And also used to draw penises. I also had a different sense of humor than everyone else. I didn't really know how to talk to the opposite sex; two different examples.

"Hi, I'm Victoria but you can call me Vicky."

"Like the underwear?"

"Yea-"

"What color are they?"

For some reason I was also really ancy in school which made me to act odd and say odd things. Picture a fidgety person in a desk biting his nails occasionaly saying he hates people because they're like cancer and spitting nails on the floor. Or something like that.

I'm an introvert in a crowd of extroverts. The extroverts being my family, friends and work colleagues. I'm the only quiet one!!!

I have no shame in laughing for far longer then is needed.

I clean and pick at my nails when I'm bored.

If there's a pen/pencil in front of me, I have to play with it.

I make weird sounds with my lips when I'm bored.

If someone says something that reminds me of s song, I'll start singing it in the middle of conversation. (Not if they're a stranger, then I wait til they're out of earshot )

I like sleeping outside, and I like raw ground beef with a pinch of salt.

Lots of things make me wierd. One thing I've been dubbed for as weird is when ever there is spaghetti made, and I don't fee llike eating too much, I'll take a couple slices of buttered bread and eat it as a sandwich. *sighs* Out of all the weird things I do/say/think, that one has to be like, my tagged thing here right now =P

I once knew a kid that acted just like that, and everyone eventually hated his guts. THough he also wrote #### poetry about grass being swords or some #####, so I don't think that applies to you. Your stories are better than his.

- I am a couple of years behind the crowd as I enjoy things that are much older.
- I live inside of my head. Everything I do is over-analyzed and I have an inner-monologue that follows me in every aspect.
- I am way too shy, cheap and archaic to ever get a girlfriend.
- My perfect woman probably never exists.
- I only feel loneliness/need the touch of somebody very seldom and it usually is passing.
- There are days in the week where I just want to be left alone and I close myself off to everybody in the world.
- I pride myself on being different and I find ways to ostricize myself.
- I am the tightest person with money ever. I hardly spend on any extravagence.
- I refuse to do things to make it easier for people to get to know me.
- It's incredibly easy for me to know somebody. However, that person would hardly know anything about me.

Well.. lemme see here. Since one of the first words people tend to use to describe me is eccentric, I have a bit of a list.

-First, I have an... odd... sense of fashion. I have been known to wear a fedora on a constant basis, which is normally something people will comment on alot. In fact, I recently added the boutinier(however you sopell it) of the wedding I was in to it now. I also have a favoite belt, with the buckle being this one. I also have a love for old-school shirts, such as old-school Batman, TMNT, stormtroopers, etc. Anime shirts also catch my attention. However, to totally contradict it, I also like to dress up dress-casual sometimes, with nicely pressed khakis, button-down shirts, dress casual shoes, and a simple leather belt. In fact, during my one college year (I went to a technical school then) my friends came to know me as the "Metro Gay Pimp"... Why? I dressed very metro all the time, One of my favorite ways to dress was as a mafioso/pimp.

-Next, I tend to have a love for anime/video games/comics/technology. I am known at work as a major geek with a love for Batman, pirates, and Star Wars, but also as a major techie as well.

-Then, I am also know for being random, but in a nonchalant sense. Example. I walked into the picture, posed for a second and a half, and walked off. Also, when people talk to me, I tend to bring up fairly random subject, all non-sequiter-like.

EXAMPLE:
"Hey Man, what's up?"
"A ceiling... duh"
"So whatcha doing"
"Playing a Gameboy game. I'm currently trying to pick someone's nose." (Warioware Twisted)
"...right. So what band is this playing?"
"A band called Alestorm, it's Pirate Metal. You should also listen to a band called Captain Dan and the Scurvy Crew if you're into pirates. It's Authentic Pirate Rap."

Most people tend to get used to it after a few times of talking to me. It makes it easier to talk to anothe geek however.

- I tend to come across as "the scary guy" to alot of people when the first get to know me. First imperssion is good, then I tell them about me. How I have a collection of swords, have a love for First-Person-Shooter games, and practice different matrial arts when i can, but without any serious training. Then they see my van, and take a good look at the liscence plate. The first three letters are KLL. They tend to run away or keep a safe distance away after that. But after a longer time knowing me, they know I wouldn't hurt a fly. Seriously, I try to avoid physical conflict.

- My musical taste run the gambit from... everything to everything excluding country and a good bit of pop/rap. Metal, like it; Rock, I know most rock bands; Jazz, some of my favorite songs; Vaudville, not bad at all; Celtic, can't get eough of it.

There are few more things that make me odd, but I just try to be myself really. I may come off as odd or "eccentric" but hey, I take it as a compliment!

Lol, I feel complemented on my weirdness. Hmmm..

• I'm also very irregular when I talk about music; like I'll completely say something sucks and list off ten other bands that sound way better and criticize them for not knowing these bands and how not so much "my" taste in music is better but that last is far more superior to Slipknot or Linkin Park. Dx !

Oh, that’s me as well. I tend to laugh at a lot of random things that are things only I think are funny.

Edit: And, reading Sabre’s post, I actually come across as the kid who looks like they could get really mad too (or so I’ve been told by people at my old school). I find it kind of funny, actually.

Hmm I have more then a couple so lets see I rarely if ever show or for that matter feel any emotion towards anything only sporadicly I'll become over emotional even when the situation doesn't call for it ex. (walking down the street guy bumps into me knocking me down doesn't even turn around to say my bad, I pick myself up and wonder whats for dinner, not trying to surpress or to brush it off just really want to know whats for dinner) or it goes like this ( walking down the street guy bumps me just barely more my fault then his but he still says sorry right away and even checks to see if I am alright and I blow up at him). I dont understand it myself but whatever. Umm I have slight O.C.D in the fact that eveything has to fit together no free space between items like i dont know thats the best way I can describe that. I love the color black aloooot but I constantly wear this green legend of zelda arm band never take it off for like the past 6 years and I am pretty sure that its attached to my arm permanently now. I laugh at things that other people just dont find funny but actully find horrible or sad or disturbing i wont go into the details because i dont want to be thought less of, even i think its messed up somtimes but its still soo funny to me.

Naw, really. I can't really say what makes me weird. Being a homosexual, being able to laugh at everything, my inability to take people and things seriously, my lottery addiction, and my unbearably hairy arms comes to mind.
My music tastes kind of make me weird too, but thats just making me completely unable to relate with anyone when it comes to music. Almost tempts me to listen to mainstream stuff.

I dont do any of the above either, but I do agree that the people who DO do all of that think I'm odd. (Actually, only the drinkers who know I'm a nondrinker think it's odd.) But to be honest, I'm only a social drinker, meaning I only drink on special occasions, and I prefer wine since it's a sipper-drink.

I wouldn't consider that weird, I'd consider that wise. To quote Pirates of the Carribean "Rum (alcohol) is a vile drink..." and it is!

I have a particular order with my pillows, One sitting up and two either side of me - i sleep better when i do that.
I also fight with my pillows everynight, My girlfriend tells me i've thrown my pillow off the bed, then stolen hers - or i've taken her pillow and put it at the other side of the bed before resting again on my own, amungst other odd things - all in my sleep mind you, i don't remember any of this.

I happily eat desserts or sweets before or even during normal meals, like eating the cookies when i finish half of my subway.

Orange juice just after brushing my teeth? doesn't bother me in the slightest.

I hate tomatoes and tomato sauce but love pizza, lasagne, bolognese, etc

I eat peas by swallowing them whole, never chew them, never have. And I eat them often lol

I can semi-sleep and walk at the same time, but I have to be very tired. And I can fall asleep anywhere, as long as I'm tired. I slept standing in a public transport train before.

I sometimes ignore my surrounding and nod my head to the music I'm listening to. I'll even mouth the lyrics, kinda like singing them except without sound at all.

Not sure what other weird characteristics I have, but as far as I'm concerned, they just make me unique, not weird. =D

I got one other thing that might be considered wierd.

I can sleep almost anywhere (a hard rock concert is a little hard to fall asleep, if I don't have earplugs!) anytime!
when I made my military duty a fell asleep 10 seconds after we sat in our new tank!
I spent most of my time in it sleeping!

Same here I don't really drink at all, and when I do it's on special occasions. I also think it tastes like sh!t and I used to drink like damn fish when I was out partying all the time. I also hate coffee(but I do have caffeine in other forms) and I've never smoked unless you count passive smoking. My friends also call me boring when I decide not to drink on a night out thing is though booze makes me tired so I don't enjoy myself on it anyway.

well the point is that, almost everybody else who do drink and smoke, think we're wierd!

A lot of my interaction with others is primarily body language, rather than spoken. For those who don't talk to me in person often, I try to speak more, but over time, I just find it unnecessary. A lot of the time, when someone says something stupid, I just look at them and they react as if I had critised them for it. This usually goes along the lines of: "Shut up!" "I didn't say anything!" "Yes you did!"

That and I don't say anything when I approach people. I just kinda walk up and either stand next to them or pay attention to what they're doing, rather than announcing myself. Sometimes I poke them to get their attention, but that only goes with certain situations.

I'm quite simply not normal, I suppose. I don't dress to any particular stereotype either. I have shirts with wolves on them or dragons. I have a few shirts that are just kinda plain, or some shirts with cool looking decales, but those are primarily from amusement parks I've visited.
I have a winter jacket, but don't use it in the winter. Instead, I just wear a hoody.
I own a total of 3 pairs of shoes. Sneakers, boots, and beat up sneakers. They are worn dependent on what I'm doing that particular day.

I don't have a problem with just walking silently with people. Other people find it awkward, but I'm usually just fine walking...

I HATE COFFEE it is the most vile thing ever! I seriously can't stand the smell and pretty much everyone I know drinks it >_>.

I don't drink alot, only when my friends make me because they claim to have never seen me drink alcohol and I hate ruining the fun for people ;/. I personally don't like the feeling I get when drinking =_=. My friends think I'm weird for disliking that feeling as well, they say it's why they drink x_X.

Lol, I fell asleep at work standing up... my mum had a fit with me after she woke me up after though x_x. I can sleep anywhere when I'm tired enough, worst place was when I was waiting for a bus to town and fell asleep leaning on the bus shelter x_x.

--+- I apparently (unconsciously) change my accent alot when I'm talking. (It's weird to my friends x_X) - I can go alittle american to northern to brummie to posh to just plain weird.
--+- I don't wear any make-up whatsoever!
--+- I never have beef when I go out unless it's a cantonese/chinese cuisine. - I don't know why, it's a weird habit of mine.
--+- I never drink Orange Tango or Fanta (carbonated fruit drink in the UK) unless it's the Can packaging.
--+- When taking tablets, I tend to drink half a cup of water before popping it in my mouth and drink a whole cup of water after it.
--+- I have 3 pairs of bedroom slippers:
-- 1st pair - I can wear them with socks or bare foot in the day.
-- 2nd pair - I wear after I get out the bathtub/shower.
-- 3rd pair - I wear after I get to my room after taking a bath/shower.
--+- I find random things weird and my friends think I'm weird because of it. xD
--+- I like to rewatch movies, dramas, anime DVDs no matter how many times I've seen them. (I'm getting my money's worth from buying them on DVD!)

Well, like Raz, I like to put ketchup on a lot of things, but a lot of the times it can be substituted for bbq sauce. The only thing that comes to mind where it can't be substituted for bbq is.......oy, tamales. =\ I feel so ashamed that I put ketchup on those.

I also put ketchup on my baked potato. It makes it taske more like a french fry.

I tend to speak with my body. xP I jump, hop, and make excited hand gestures.

I think I tend to act like a little kid when I'm happy.

And things that I liked as a little kid make me happy. I love going to an old bookstore and finding old books I used to have. Or I love to talk about old tv shows I used to watch or old movies I used to have. If I had a lot of money, I'd probably have a house with a room devoted to all that stuff. As it is, sometimes I can't stop myself at old toy stores. When I went to particular toy boutique in Virginia that had all old toys...I had to buy an old wooden music box that had two waltzing lady bugs on it and played the theme from "Love Story" when wound up. I just had to have it for my art desk. ._.

But, on that note, it isn't too difficult to amuse me.

And, finally.....milk creeps me out. I'm not scared of it. I just don't want to touch it or smell it. And I can't drink it by itself. I just think it looks, smells and feels gross. It just makes me feel sick.

Well most of the things people are saying don't really sound that weird to me.... But well here are some of my weird habits:

- I love my stuffed penguin toy (called Ben) so much that i honestly think if something happened to him I would be really really upset or cry even =o!

- I always find myself talking to inanimate objects. Like my stuffed animals, or weird things like saying hello to my computer xD.

- If i see a switch that is turned on with nothing plugged in, more often than not i will have to turn it off.

- I can't ride a bike.

- When my parents were having hardships when i was little, and they couldn't afford Coco Pops, I used to just pour the powder for drinking chocolate onto Rice Krispies to try and make them chocolatey. My brother thought i was weird... until he tried for himself

- I cannot stand the sound of metal scratching on metal. I can't touch metal with my nails, it just sends me all tingly and feels odd.. But i think thats not that uncommon.

Can't think of any others at the moment. Will probably post later.

I forgot about that one. Yeah, I tell this story a lot, but I was given the choice of getting a bike and learning to ride...or learning to ride a horse and train for the rodeo. =P I never made it to the rodeo, but at least I got to ride a pretty horsie.

Another thing, too, is that I also don't like touching metal with my nails. And I do have a tendency to talk out loud any thoughts I have. Especially when I'm studying for a really hard test. Although, I think that's more of an annoying habit, really.

-I can't do back flips. When I do front flips, I land on my butt. I'm scared I will smash my head on the ground due to no sense of direction while off the ground when attempting a back flip. Despite the fact that I have a lot of height on my jumps.

-I wear long johns even in the summer. It's like my underwear over my underwear. I don't like wearing shorts. I always wear pants.
-My fan runs year round, winter included til it stops running. It's because the humming sound relaxes me.
I assume this will make me weird to guys: I do not find asian women attractive at all. Probably the only guy in the world who doesn't . They can be pretty, but I love my caucasian girls much more.

-I walk faster than the average person.
-I will walk anywhere if I have to. If it's a 10 mile walk, I will do it.
-Crowds will bother people, but crowds relax me, I prefer walking amongst a group of people. (Love going to the mall)

-The only way I will eat beef stew is by putting ketchup on it. Ketchup is a tool created by GOD. It makes all things nasty, edible. Remember this .

I'm also in the same boat about riding a bike. I never learned, but my brother was relentless in trying to teach me.

I hate smoking; however, ironically, the majority of my friends are smokers.

If I'm at home, I cannot sit and watch a movie/tv/play video games for a long period of time. I have to get up and move around and do something else.

If I see something dirty, something like...triggers and I go into a cleaning frenzy. I've scrubbed my entire house on numerous occasions just for seeing a dirty dish or a little dust. lol

I love, love love love making food for people. Come over hungry because I will feed you. C:

I don't like people worrying/taking care of me. It's a blow to my pride in some sense.

I can't sit in a dark room.

If I don't have my iPod/computer playing music, I'll turn the TV on so I can have some background noise for whatever I'm doing.

Despite my not being extremely short (5'2), I will crack jokes at my own height to make myself seem shorter. It entertains me. I don't know why. :C
