Dunno if this'll interest anybody, but here's the little blurb:

QUOTE
Though we've seen compelling evidence in the past, it's finally official: BioWare and LucasArts are working on an MMO based on the popular Knights of the Old Republic franchise. Portfolio.com interviewed EA boss John Riccitiello, who said that they have "two of the most compelling MMOs in the industry in development." The first he referred to was Warhammer Online, but what about the second? He said, "and the one people are dying for us to talk about -- in partnership with Lucas, coming out of BioWare, which is, I think, quite possibly the most anticipated game, full stop, for the industry at the point when we get closer to telling you about it." Just in case you're still skeptical, the interviewer then pressed by asking directly if he referred to a Knights of the Old Republic online game, and Riccitiello plainly said, "yes."

This isn't extremely surprising news, but at least it finally puts to rest all the speculation. There's no other information available yet, so any kind of release window is hard to pin down. While unconfirmed, the language of the story seems to suggest that the game will be headed to PCs. We'll let you know more as it comes.

Count me out. I expected a KOTOR 3 offline game already but it seems to me they went along with different path.

Like CC you can count me out too. I was expecting it but it doesn't make the confirmation of the third KoToR game being an MMO any less disappointing, for me it's a total waste of an awesome series and licence and probably annoys me more than when FFXI was confirmed as an MMO a few years back.

no thanks here...

never cared for the 2 KOTOR games..

That's ##### retarded. They already have SWG and it sucks. Terrible news.
LunarMaster
I agree with what everyone is saying. What a terrible decision.

Bioware is doing it I really don't see how this could fail and they have always been great about giving people decisons on what they want to do. I'm going to wait to see what they come up with before passing judgement.

No ones denying how good Bioware are, just that everyone is disappointed that it's an MMO and not a single player RPG like the first two.

Online Co-op is what it should be at the most. KotoR had a crazy real time battle system and now this done gone fvck'd it up./ <-- nike check( just do it)

They're going to make another generic MMO that will pale in comparison to WoW. It doesn't matter who develops it.

:sighs:
And I really did like KotOR.. In anycase, what other Japanese RPG besides P4 should I pick up later this year? Don't say Final Fantasy, I'm waiting because hype for FF series launches kills my gaming experience with those games.
