so i was just curious, have any of your PSN users out there downloaded the first episode and tried it out? I wanted to the other night but 2.99 to rent a 23 minute episode, RENT being the keyword, well i dont know if i really like that price point. Cause if you like it thats 26 episodes at 2.99 a pop, so now your looking at around 80-85 dollars for a rental. I only hope that once all the episodes are out, they will allow you to purchase them at mabye the 1.99 price point of most of the other animes.

Though i will say, it does sound and look very very cool.

Plot: Sentan Island is a small island surrounded by the Yuden Sea. It exists in a state of dreamlike tranquility, cut off from the war between the Northern Government and the Southern Continent Free Zone. Akiyuki Takehara lives on Sentain Island along with his mother Fusa, He is currently separated from his father, the town doctor Ryuzo, but the bond between father and son remains. One day, after taking Ryuzo the lunch that Fusa has made for him as usual, Akiyuki is caught up in an explosion along with his friends, Haru and Furuichi. The explosion produces a mysterious light which enters Akiyuki's arm, causing him excruciating pain. He's given no time to understand it, however, as the white-haired girl who rode on the bus with him guides him to a power unlike anything he's ever known. He transforms into a creature called Xam'd, and his rampage is only stopped when a red-haired foreign girl appears.

I've actually been hearing alot about this. It's supposed to have RahXephon+Escaflowne+Last Exile+Nausica+Eureka Seven themes and the style is supposed to be great and of course the quality of it is also supposed to be top notch. Considering this is from BONES who actually produced Full Metal Alchemist, Escaflowne and Eureka seven, this is sure to be good.

I'm waiting for someone upload the good quality (+eng subs ;P), I really do want to check this out and the press release of this is just hyping up everyday over the net which makes me really want to see it.

My step-cousin came over today and mentioned this anime, actually. Being a huge Eureka Seven fan, I'm going to check this out, for sure, and that's why he was telling me about it in the first place.
He said it was looking to be a pretty good series, so I'm excited.

*also waiting on english subs*

At the moment some people have uploaded okay-quality versions (I think currently) of 2 of the episodes, so yeh it's supposed to be on rent only but someone always finds a way to get it online ;].

well i have watched the first 2 episodes just now and so far i am enjoying it. Has some cool characters and i like the animation, its somewhat different to most of the stuff i like..the story so far seems interesting so thats good.

I watched 3 episodes of this and so far its looking pretty good.

They've included alot of different elements into this, especially from other series they've made which I think is what makes this look so good. I highly recommend watching the 720p resolution as the action and design does way more justice than the version I watched. I'm actually rewatching it at 720p just to catch every detail again that I know I missed because of the low quality version I got from a stream site.

The audio is a tad off and I'm still waiting on a better sub to fix it too =/. Apart from the quality of the files I'm getting, the series seems pretty stand-up. Although, I have to say that the characters you meet on the ship on episode 3 are annoying quite annoying at first, at least to me they are xD.
