SPOILERS FOR THE INCREDIBLE HULK:
So if any of you have seen the new hulk movie you will have seen at the end (much to people's surprise) a visit by Tony Starke, aka Ironman. He has a little chat with...the general...guy...about a 'team' he is forming, suggesting along the way he wants to enlist the hulk.
I've heard rumors of Marvel releasing a movie with a tonne of marvel heroes including hulk, spiderman and ironman, but they have been waiting for each involved heroes associated movie(s) to come out first. Finally seems they are about ready to make what I hope will be a colossally awesome movie involving a large Marvel heroes cast.
So has anyone else heard anything about this?

Yeah, I heard of it. I can't remember the team's name, but I guess they have been planning it for a while...

Haha, that would be cool to see. They are making a movie called "The Watchmen", and it has a bunch of superheroes in it...

The Watchmen is it's own mythos, though, and it's DC anyway.
Captain America is definitely going to be in it. Remember all those serums in The Incredible Hulk that made Blonsky is all super and #####? Bet you they'll use one of those to make the captain.

Never saw the movie...don't want to...but I seriously thought Captain America was just Uncle Sam in tights =P

Captain America was the perfect Ultimate Soldier, through use of the Ultimate Soldier serum introduced in Incredible Hulk. However, due to his unique genome sequence, he was able to utilize the serum without any of the bad after effects. I think that's essentially Capt. America origins in a nutshell.

I'm pretty sure Avengers have been in rumor-talks for a while, and is most likely going to come into fruition. That's why they had Tony Stark show up for The Incredible Hulk, as well as S.H.I.E.L.D. in Ironman. Not only that, but there's talks about a Thor movie in the works, and then having everything fit in together.
I'm not sure if it's actually going to happen...but I'd like to think so. o___o
I haven't really heard much from The Watchmen, so I guess I should hit up the trailer for more info.

Marvel needs to make a Deadpool movie. He was badass.

Supposedly Deadpool will be played by my number two guy crush, Ryan Reynolds, in the Wolverine movie.
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0458525/I am not well versed on Deadpool, all I know is that he is Canadian, knows how to fight, was in the Weapon X project or something, and is Canadian. But hey, Ryan Reynolds as a comic book character is fine in my book as long as it opens doors for him playing the character on its own movie
With Liev Schreiber playing Sabretooth I must admit, I dont know what to thin about the movie. Hugh Jackman has done well as Wolverine I think, I am not a big fan so I havent cared about his role, and Reynolds could pull it off but I think Liev is too overqualified to play Sabretooth's functionally retarded brute forced fueled self.
Anyway, they were hinting at the Avengers flick. Captain America should be an interesting movie to say the least. I kinda like Capy. Thor, not so much.
And what would really get me excited would be a Civil War movie, maybe in 10 or so years we might see it.

Deadpool is Breaking the Fourth Wall personified. He can read everyone's thought bubbles, and realizes he's in a comic book. That's what makes him break the mold. Though, I have no idea how he would in a movie.

Thor is planned for a release date of 2010, but has no cast announced yet. Here's the imdb link:
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0800369/Captain America looks to have the same problem, but with a release date of 2011. Here's the imdb link:
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0458339/It looks like we could get a movie featuring all the heroes, but that would then have to take place after 2011. So, at least 3 more years of waiting.
I'm really excited about Captain America though. Judging from how well these movies are being made now (and how each one seems to be much better than the last), Captain America should make everyone's head explode from sheer awesomeness. So long as they don't start making horrible movies like elektra again.
EDIT: My god, there's a bunch of marvel movies coming out soon. here's a link listing them all:
http://www.imdb.com/keyword/marvel-entertainment/?sort=dateEDIT 2: Holy crap, a punisher sequel!
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0450314/ But, there's no Thomas Jane in this one. He did really well in the 2004 movie. =/

Allegedly The Avengers flick is slated for July 2011, just after Capy's flick.
I also liked Thomas Jane as punisher. The new dude looks tougher but I dont really see a point in changing Jane, maybe since they are rebouting and the new dude looks more menacing and closer to Castle. Then again it might just be that I am a Thomas Jane fan.

You guys gotta be kidding! The punisher was a horrific movie, freekin' terrible and Thomas Jane was a worse choice for the character. The sequel had better be something 300% better than the original.
I really don't like the idea of a captain America movie...infact the only people I can picture who WOULD want to watch something like that would be...well...americans. I see.....the hoff....or Richard Dean Anderson or...... the guy who plays captain amazing in mystery men lol.
The trailer for the watchmen looks hell cool though!
Actually wait I got one more for Captain America! ARNIE!

Actually I kind of see Aaron Eckhart plying the role, especially since he did that whole White Knight role he did as Harvey Dent and considering Cap. America is a guy who embodies of what American patriotism and ideals, I could see him playing this role.

Like I said, it might just have been that I am a Thomas Jane fan. Now about Capy, I am not american but I can say I like the character. I am not a complete nut about him, and we could blame this like on Marvel Vs Capcom, but I wouldnt mind a movie about him. \
STD: As much as I like Eckhart, as much as I liked his Harvey Dent, there is no way in hell I could have him as Steve Rogers, it just wouldnt fly and would be a horrible cast choice. He is just not the right actor for the role.

Well if yo uremember at the end of Ironman Samuel L Jackson comes in as Nick Fury, and says specifically that he wants Ironman to check out the "Avenger Initiative". So maybe this is something related to that?? I wouldn't be surprised.
Super hero movies are stil pretty popular, and as long as they're good I don't mind seeing them coming.

They're leaking Marvel movies out the ass. I'm quite frankly, sick and tired of them.
There hasn't been one I've seen recently that I'm impressed by, or an upcoming release I really care about.

Thank you..... They are after money, and it's becoming way too obvious... They wrecked so many marvel comics for me... their attempts at making passable movies are ridiculous.... they take the basic character(s) and create a whole new story-line, and ruin most of the character design... I understand some of it..... but they take it to a level that's just unhealthy.....

yea but that's always been the predictable formula for Hollywood for years, The release something thats a box office hit, then they release a tonne of movies based on a similar idea to bleed it dry. It's just comics have such a large fan base, and each comic can usually have its own fan base separate to others, it's something that will always draw in the mega bucks.

Wolverine was also a part of The Avengers. And if they put too many heroes into one movie, we'll have another X-MEN where barely anything happens.

They don't need more Wolverine in anything, he's getting his own movie. He isn't going to be part of The Avengers, I guarantee.

It doesn't matter if they put him or not, the fact still stands. Too many "main" characters in a movie is not a good thing. Movies are too short for that.
