Blame a "Life with Derick" episode for the Description, and me for being completely random~ x3

To start this off, I shall write a story completely out of my head right now (where as I'll probably usually write others on WordPad and then check it out in Word *hugs both* x3).

Title: A Moment to Remember
Character(s): Ookami Myaki (My 'Alias' x3)

CODE
I sigh.  My world-hopping was stopped as soon as I hit this town.  The Inn was extremely inviting, and the keeper was very nice, considering that it was nearly 2 am.  After drinking some very soothing hot cocoa, I payed the lady and went into a very sound sleep.  You know, those ones where you don't have any kind of dreams?  Oh yes, I love those dearly.

I look around the room while still laying in bed.  There was a window seat; I'll stay the day in this town.  Every hero needs a moment to rest, right?  Of course.  Besides, I needed to stock up on some stuff.  I'd have to work and get some money later (or get lucky and find a leprechaun).  I slip into another moment of comforting sleep, as usual, and end up waking up two more times before finding that it was time to get up.

Then, I hear screams.  I calm my anger and grab the amulet around my neck.

Haha~ You may imagine what happens next, if you think you can guess that powers and, well, animal~ ;3 If someone actually does attempt that, I'll give them a cookie and the ability to give me a word to start my next little peice of literature~ =3

Also: I'm in love with any kind of helpfull tips~ x3

First tip would be to not put your piece in black coloring. =p. If you want to do something to distinguish it from the rest of what you write, you can always choose another font (though not something that’s going to blow someone’s brain out trying to read) or just put substantial spaces in between your own notes and what you’re actually writing. It’s not bad reading through spoiler text for actual game (or book) spoilers, but when reading what someone has actually written in either the Writing/Literature forum or Role-Play forum, it’s generally not preferable to read through the blue highlights. It’s best to make things as easy as possible for the readers. We’re a picky bunch. =p.

As for what you’ve got, I admit it’s a bit short to give a lasting impression. Try expounding on what you have a bit more, and then possibly add more onto it as a whole while you do so (unless this was just a short drabble, in which case expand a bit more on the next one to give a clear picture and impression of the work).

xD Actually, I thought that the spoiler would actually be a box like a code box, except where the box is kind of 'scrunched up' and hidden behind the top line and you have to press the word 'spoiler' to have the rest 'drop down' out of it. ^^;;;;; And I see, I didn't quite know what I was wanting to write either. xD

I’d still just suggest keeping everything “normal” when you post something. People don’t want to read something that’s all bright colors and with a fancy font, they just want something easy to read that’s good to get into. =).
