So I was just looking at GT's Best of E3 08 awards and the winner of best trailer was this game I havent heard anything about before, called I am Alive.

This game looks pretty promising. So far the best we can call the "trailer" is a longer teaser but it has certainly peaked my interest and it seems to be one of the top games I will be expecting to hear more about in the following months.

Here is the trailer on youtube

Yes there is little information so far but I hope more comes up as the year progresses.

I usually like these ruined world themes in games, although I haven't played that many. Galerians: Ash was one though.
I want to see more of this game. I just hope it isn't a shooter, because most of the time I'm indifferent to the setting of shooting games when all you do is bang bang anyway. I hope this game has an interesting gameplay system that lets you explore. That part about the water bottle suggests that it might be a survival game.

This game kind of reminds me of a game for PS2 that was a survival horror game about two people surviving in a city after an earthquake. And because of it, getting across certain ledges and things was dangerous and unstable. I always wanted to play that game, but I forgot it's name. It might be that SOS that was mentioned in the first comment on the kotaku page.

The premise is great, I just hope the gameplay mechanics live up to it.
